An impressive building with industrial character interior. SMAEK has created the perfect balance to give us a really warm welcome.

The staff were incredibly nice, receptive and caring for us. Despite many dining guests and tables to watch, they took their time and made us feel like we were the only ones there.

We didn't have to wait that long for our food at all. The waitress presented the food in a very elegant way when she brought it out. And it was ridiculously good, solely the best chicken tartlet I've ever had. My husband also had his expectations exceed by margin.
The portions are big, neither I nor my partner could finish our food.

We were expecting SMAEK to be nice but not quite as luxurious. But SMAEK is the only reason to return to Aalborg. Good food in a super nice atmosphere! Visit!
