Nice atmosphere, lots of light and very friendly people with a lot of understanding

Very friendly owner. Hospitable, it immediately feels like you have known him for years.

When talking about Twente hospitality, this hotel is the right place for you. The owner is exceptionally friendly and helpful. And a room is not expensive and the breakfast buffet is fine. Dinner I don't know, but judging from my experience with everything else, this will also be fine. I played a nice game of miniature golf with my daughter in the hotel garden. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

The waitresses are friendly. The interior is outdated and uncomfortable. Very good also local beer and tasty starters. When serving the meal, the wrong main course came along once. As a result, my wife and I couldn't eat together, but the waitresses including the boss were very friendly. Seldom experienced so much friendliness. The venison steak and the pheasant fillet were unfortunately completely unseasoned, the side dishes clearly under-seasoned or not seasoned. It just didn't really taste that way.
Since the pheasant fillet was still a bit bloody in parts, it was kindly taken back. But my wife got severe diarrhea as a result.
Nevertheless, the farewell drinks on the house were very friendly.

Overall a really pleasant hotel. Rooms are older however they have been refurbished recently so everything looks fresh. Rooms were clean and beds are good. Unfortunately no airconditioning at the warm night we stayed there. Breakfast was as expected.

Dining at the hotel was perfect! Main courses were a great value for money.

We had a delicious dinner here. The price-quality ratio is worth a good 10. Service very friendly, neat and customer oriented. The mushroom soup, ribs and creamy brown were exquisite.

Being my first time overseas from the U.S. staying at this hotel was a pleasant surprise. Two things that I liked about staying here.
1) The staff and owner take care of there customers. Always on the move and making sure everyone is ok. Staying there almost a week for work training I got to know the story of the Inn/Hotel. Starting a business is never easy and Jurgen along with his wife have a done a remarkable job. Pleasure staying there.
2) The food for a smaller place in the countryside and not near a major city, it remarkable. I ate there about 4 times and every time tried something new. I didn't have a bad thing on the menu and especially liked both fish they offer (cooked perfectly).
Only thing I would recommend is larger beds.

Between the amazing staff, service and really good food. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Dinner for two, reservations were quickly arranged. We were received in a nice way, our table was once again welcome. Who had a very nice dinner, food was great.

Friendly staff, good breakfast. Hair in the shower, dusty extraction grate and shower that looked like a sprinkler were a little less. Dinner got sick from and heard nothing after feedback, not even on last day at checkout / checkout. Hopefully done something with it.

At Hotel Restaurant Mondriaan you can enjoy the peace and quiet in the Achterhoek. The restaurant also has a great kitchen. A very extensive menu with many delicacies.
Highly recommended !

We have tried different dishes, and they were all delicious! Friendly service and the wines were very tasteful. Desserts looked great, but I missed a chocolate dessert. Atmospheric ambiance. Worth to just drive out of the center. See you soon, Mondrian!

The room was neat and clean with good beds. The breakfast was ample and if you had extra wishes, it was taken care of.

I always try to give a positive review, but unfortunately the most positive thing of the evening was our company. The service was also very friendly, so I can't say anything about that. The food itself, however, was a bit disappointing. I don't want to go through the dishes specifically, because then it comes across as very negative, but it was not all.
We only used the restaurant, so I cannot give an opinion about the rest.

Simply good food and very expert service. Definitely recommended to eat here. I had spare ribs that were good, my wife had simmer pot which was also very good. As the only downside we found the apperetive which was on the salty side. Great and worth repeating.

Service very friendly. Room in January at check in unheated and cold. Older equipment fans in the bathroom really loud. Prices in the restaurant not cheap.

We had a great weekend here at the beginning of August with our son! He was allowed to crawl where and when he wanted. The owner, cleaning ladies and service were very friendly and even during an accident in the kitchen, they managed to bring the dinner to a successful conclusion. Via the baby monitor, the control even 'watched out' during our dinner, according to their own words!
Our room was very spacious, a bit on the old side but everything was renovated room by room, so we will come back to see how it turned out!
The breakfast was super well maintained by the enthusiastic and helpful woman from the service. All in all, we felt very welcome here! Greetings family from Ommen.

At hotel restaurant Mondriaan (formerly Bulten) I ate 3 courses and slept 1 night including breakfast. Dinner was very delicious. The carpaccio was much more than I eat at other restaurants. But the main course and dessert were also very tasty and more than sufficient. Especially for that price. The service was also very friendly and welcoming and the decoration attractive.

The hotel room had clearly not had the renovation that the restaurant had by now. Well looks don't matter much to me, you still have your eyes closed. But you could feel the springs in the mattress, the pillows had actually been slept a little too often, the TV didn't work, the shower's thermostatic tap didn't work either (luckily it was warm, but occasionally bumped boiling water) and the shower head was leaking. It was also very noisy, and with a wooden ceiling you could hear every step of your upstairs neighbors. Not luxury, but a very simple simple room. But for an amount of 64 euros including breakfast, perhaps not everything can be expected. And speaking of that breakfast, it was really fine. Choice of various sandwiches and breads, sweet and savory fillings, yogurt, fruit, milk, tea / coffee and orange juice. Entirely right.

Simple hotel with modest rooms (photo wallpaper behind the bed), which is already a bit old. For one night that was fine for me. The staff is friendly, the breakfast very rich and the food in the restaurant is delicious and rich

We spent 2 nights in the "gazebo". We just felt like Hansel and Gretel. Lovely and nice house neat and clean. The 3 course dinner was really good. We enjoyed it. The service was neat and friendly. We will do it again soon.
