A classic in Paris and a consistency both for the culinary aspect and for the service which calls on qualified staff. Usually the servers have been there for years.

It s like you ve stepped back in time into the 1930 s. The food and service are exceptional! Coffees and wines are the best. I can t wait to return.

Very typically Parisian brasserie, obviously frequented by many regulars. Compared to the dishes, it offers great classics (but excellent!). Succulent macaroon dessert! Otherwise, impeccable service!

Good reputation of the place is more to do. It's traditional cuisine but the food is tasty. The rating is high compared to other equivalent places in the capital.

The experience was not super great, the gratin dauphinois was really bland, the stew little tasty ... The steamy cod little hearty with its vegetables ...
The setting is nice, and the service a little pretentious for the quality ... I note severely it's really expensive the value for money is not present in my opinion!

Tasty and unforgettable place. A new reading of familiar dishes, for example, the execution of a Napoleon cake or profiteroles, turns your mind about these desserts. Oysters with rye bread, fish, duck, wine - this delicious food cannot be described in a short review. The general atmosphere complements the delights - the red-gold interior is not annoying, but bewitching, very good. lively humorous waiters. A lot of impressions. If there are any flaws, then I did not notice them.

Had a horrible croissant that cost at least double than it costs in any regular bakery, and a too strong tiny coffee plus an orangejuice all for 11 or 12 euros.

The king's cafe was re decorated this night I must say that it is better now it will be harder for the wads of banknotes of bills falling from the pockets to come there for a good time

The place is a classic so go for it if you are searching for this kind of authenticity. You won't be mesmerised or disappointed...millefeuille is to die for though!

Traditional French restaurant. Well trained and friendly waiters. The steak was absolutely exquisite. Tasty onion soup. The potato gratin was delicious. I will come to this place when I m craving for steaks. Deserts such as fromage blanc and millefeuille were excellent!

Very Parisian brasseries. Frequented on Sunday by families with three generations .. it is recommended to keep your table. It is good and plentiful a delicious haddock and a real mille-feuille made on demand. Value for money is good.

We have lived in Paris for the last 2 years. Relative to other restaurants, this was quite average, below average actually. The ambiance is beautiful and the service was good, however, the food was really average and wasn't really cheap. Although I'm not a career chef, I have been taking cooking lessons and know when rice is real or "Uncle Ben's"...this was definitely re-hydrated rice...and it was really mushy...yuck...French Onion soup...meh...too much cheese in a big lump at the bottom of a broth, that while likely made in-house, lacked seasoning and the bread was a bit too stale in my opinion. As I said, nice ambiance, but I wouldn't go back, there are so many other nicer places in Paris. Advice for visitors: stay away from touristy restaurants like this and find the "off the beaten path" small holes in the wall if possible.
