I wrote the above before I received my check...
At first we liked this restaurant as the ambiance was nice. It has a large menu of choices. The food is pricey. My dish was Tagliatelle with spinach,pesto and sun dried tomatoes and it was $30. The portions are large, so I would recommend sharing and the cost wont be so bad.
BUT - BEWARE OF THE BREAD RIP OFF!!!! The server asked us if we wanted bread, not uncommon now a days with all the wheat allergies and people simply not wanting to eat bread. We said sure. It was a round bread, not bad. When the check came, there was a charge for $6.50, rustico/stracciatella I asked the server about this as we did not have a soup or anything of this name. She advised us it was the BREAD!! This is a very dishonest way of charging for bread!!!!! The server should have told us when offering the bread that there was a charge and then we would have decided if we wanted it or not!! I have never been charged for bread at a restaurant before unless I specifically ordered it off the menu like garlic rolls, etc. They also offer you a dessert,coffee or limoncello for a positive review on site. WE took advantage of this, but unfortunately for us, it was before we had received the bill or I would have not given them the review that I did. All in all, restaurant food is good, prices high but the dishonesty will keep us away and cause us not to recommend this place ever.

Fontana is a great place to have a nice meal. I ordered funghi pasta with white sauce and the Ossobuco and was delicious. My friend ordered the Parmiggian chicken and was great! Beautiful place. I can go back.

Among the pleasures of life are travel and good food, these two pleasures can be obtained by enjoying a few days in Miami and visiting the Fontana Ristorante where you can pamper your palate by tasting any of the dishes offered in this sublime restaurant. Highly recommended.

Today we went in the afternoon, we were not satisfied, in principle we emphasized the attention because they really care, but it is reasonable for the high prices they have, the first two acceptable dishes, but the pizzas left much to be desired, the raw dough and the bottom burnt, we had to send to remove one of them, which was worse, we explained it to the clerk and told him that anyway we were going to pay (as we did) she gave us an explanation of why they were like this, but I really did not understand it, I'm really not in a position to come back and much less recommend it

I placed an order at this restaurant and they made me wait outside for it while the mosquitos were biting me.

Was there 3/2018. The main plates are in the 30+ range. My wife had the lamb chops and what a joke. This is no lie. The lamb chops looked like a chicken mcnugget on the end of a bone. The green blue sangria was tart as hell. Ordered the bread it was like 6 dollars and you need a chainsaw to cut it. The place seems to be owned by a Venezuelan and they want to make you believe they are Italian. Save your money and find another place. Me and my wife had a normal dinner nothing fancy and we spent $180 with tip.

The food was super delicious and the perfect attention and especially from Mayra the girl who shows the desserts.

Place is small and overcrowded. Service is lackluster, food was not that good and rather expensive for what it is.

The ambiance is great. The staff is amazing. The variety of dishes is excellent. The quality of the food unsurpassed! The best burrata in Doral. It is very expensive though. With this said, I'm not sure if I will go back. It does hurt to pay $26 for pasta with cheese and cream.

Excellent !!!, I just didn't think it was right that I didn't find a proportion between the amount they serve and the price on a plate of lamb loins, the tenderloins were extremely small and only served two, for the price that that dish has, and if they were so small, they should have served at least three, it really was sooo small. Everything else excellent.

This place is great. I went last night and omg I tried a risotto and wow wow ... the appetizers were incredible and the attention is very cool. I couldn t even try a dessert because omg the food was Amazing!!! Thanks for the attention and the delicious menu!

The service at this restaurant was horrible, and the food was extremely overpriced. The food is improvised and not good at all. I don t recommend it to anyone , McDonald s serves better food than here . I will definitely never come here again.

Wow is what I have to say. I had Pasta alla Scoglio and my wife had the Carbonara. Both were delicious. The service was much better than I expected and I will definitely be going back. Jennifer, our server was super friendly and made us feel at home. We will go back considering that our visit was simply phenomenal.

Have a wonderful time. A bit pricey but you'll pay that for the decor. I had the osebuco and found it a little salty for my liking. The rest of my guest found their tenderlions very good, but on the salty side.
