Restaurant La Fontana Review

I was at La Fontana Restaurant from Bailey so much that he recommends it a lot.
Well, I loved it! I only went in Happy Hour! So I covered and everything was very good. Very good attention! And the amazing desserts! .

Amazing food! But we were very disappointed with the service. That's why only three stars were given. I had my non Spanish speaking family with me ( I do speak Spanish)and it seemed like there was some difficulty with our order at first. I understand that its Doral and most people speak Spanish but it would have been a better experience if there wasn't a communication break down. We had a different server take our main meal order and it was fine after that. But the food is amazing.

Not the best place to eat accompanied by kids, food takes extremely long to arrive. My pizza was delicious but the pasta was not as great very flavorless. I think is very overpriced and overrated. Cheese cake factory has better pasta. The service was slow and the waitress had too many tables it seemed like.

The best part of this restaurante. They have a delicious and very accesible Lunch Special menu. I had the beef scaloppine with mashed potatoes and was amazing and I paid for that just $12. I love this place.

Very gracious servers, excellent food and relaxed environment. Great to come with friends or family to enjoy the experience with you. We had calamari, salmon risotto, seafood risotto, spinach and ricotta lasagna, and the Fontana tagliatelli, cannot say which was best, all great! Enjoy!

Had the lasagna. Came out straight from the oven and every bite was delicious.

I had another expectation about the food, the pasta was hard, I ordered the Florentine meat and I thought that for the price it was going to be something spectacular, but it was cold and the amount was not 32oz as the menu says, plus 1 hour to serve the food They should improve in that aspect. The bread was good, as was the
Pizza.

Just note that the Caesar salad is not the traditional Italian version; it contained pork, was more of a mayonnaise base, and no detectable anchovy flavor.

Excellent food and first class care, the best place to eat pasta in Miami

All in the menu is super and the service is just as amazing. A true Doral gem for Italian food. I was pleasantly impressed to learn that they make their pasta from scratch!! What a difference it makes. Please go there as soon as you get to Miami from the airport. Program your GPS now!!

The local very welcoming, very friendly employees, but the food too expensive, and does not meet expectations. But hey it was a nice time but, well paid ... Very well paid !!!!

All delicious! If you have cravings for pasta and meats, this is the place! Mayra and Sara super attentive and helpful. Come!

4.5 stars and their bathroom doesn't have hand soap in it. Manager walked out the first time I went in, held the door for me. Let them know they don't have soap, 2 hours later, bathroom still doesn't have soap on it. Food is fine if you're in the neighborhood nothing to go out of your way for.

Today Sunday I ordered my favorite Calabria pizza and I don't know what's wrong with them lately that practically the truffle oil doesn't sit on it at all and additionally I ordered it toasted and the pizza was super white!

Was there today for lunch with my wife and we enjoyed the place. Nice restaurant, the lunch specials were great. The service was fast and the waiters were pleasant.

Visited town from South Carolina and was extremely happy with the service and the food. I had the Pasta a la Ruotta (cooked in the cheese wheel) with Prosciutto and it was amazing! Beautiful restaurant inside, classy but casual. It's a Venezuelan-Italian place. Definitely a do-over when I come back.

This is our first time here, the restaurant looks good, service was excellent. But our 3 stars are because food was just ok. We order for appetizer Burrata with prosciutto and mushrooms it was very good, the artisan bread was good also, but my Bolognese Pasta was bellow the expectations, my son who loves Alfredo Pasta left all of his, and my wife told me that her Beef Carpaccio was just ok also. It is a nice restaurant, we love the atmosphere but we may get unlucky on our chooses for dinner. I recommend a manager to get a review from customers that order this particular ones. We may come back to taste a different dish in the future. This is the only reason for the 3 Stars
