The food is tasty, especially good price / quality. The operation was abysmal. In particular, the older waiter (host?) Made totally inappropriate comments all night long. I fell from one surprise to the next, rarely experienced. Too bad, the food was quite good, but due to the substandard service and total lack of customer focus, I will never come back and I definitely advise against others.

Good food. Tried the Markt menu, which is good value for the price. The dessert Panna Cotta with Speculoos was the best dish of the evening.

The market menu is certainly 'perfectly fine' price-quality. With 2 main course fish-meat choices. We already came several times. Sometimes it can be noisy, now it was okay. Think the audience was a little older. Pleasant and relaxing interior, beautiful garden and lighting. 4 courses for 35 euros excluding drinks. With an aperitif, 2 glasses with dinner and 2 coffees, we came to an average of 61 euros. Very reasonable because some took champagne as an aperitif which is quite expensive here (thought 14 euros). Very limited beer menu (lager, Carlsberg and Leffe) which is a bit difficult for me. Eventually they found another Duvel at the bottom of the fridge. A few more special or local (er) beers would not be out of place. And that Gin and tonic craze, isn't it almost over now?
The food is always very tasty, original beautiful presentation and nice portions. Aperitif snack, olives, bread ... Water is to be paid extra. Book in time. Tiens; was there music in the case? Not paying attention and that normally strikes me, not so! We will come back to this fixed value sometimes.

It is always nice to return, every time you are surprised by the pleasant reception and service. The dishes are sublime and the wine selection top. I am always happy about this. Both during lunch and dinner, also on Monday evening.

On a Saturday evening we went for dinner with friends. We made a timely reservation. On arrival at 7 pm (the restaurant does not open until then) we were escorted to our table (for 4 people), down the stairs next to the window. It was very quiet because we were only the second table that was taken in the restaurant. The menu was handed to us. A little later the waiter came to take our order. We all chose the market menu. The aperitif was served, albeit without snacks !!! Shortly after our aperitif we were waiting for an hour ... we were still waiting for the starter ... Meanwhile there was a smooth influx of people and the restaurant was almost full. The other tables were served quickly and even got a starter while we still didn't get any snacks. Our patience was lost ... We spoke to the boss why it took so long before we were served further.
His explanation was "SOMETHING WALKED WRONG IN THE KITCHEN, THE RIGHT CARD WAS NOT PASSED, YES, THAT NEW TECHNOLOGY OF THE PRESENT" ...
We were not helped at all with this explanation !!! The boss was going to do everything to serve us as quickly as possible. We got an extra aperitif "on the house" ... A so to speak gesture from the boss.
In the meantime, snacks were on the table at 8.15 pm and around 8.30 pm. the appetizer. Afterwards the main dish was served. This was very close together ... so you had to "swallow" your food more or less quickly.
Very unfortunate that everything went so chaotic.
The food itself is super tasty, but for the service the Cherry Garden is not recommended !!!

Little choice as a vegetarian, but they do their best to prepare something.

For my girlfriend's birthday we are eating the West West market menu + a delicious fresh sweet wine.
We will definitely come back there. For eating again.

Be surprised with the surprise menu on Monday. Get rid of the stress of choice, because you have already been chosen. In our surprise there were no risky combinations, because everyone's plates were as good as empty. Don't forget to keep a place for dessert, because after all of the above, it can still be a challenge. Enjoy in a cozy atmosphere with a nice setting.

The Cherry Garden is also no longer what it once was. The welcome was normal. As an aperitif the gin and tonic but very little gin for the price that is asked. The menu is apparently also seriously shortened and if you have the main course the choice between different types of steaks with sauce well ..... I can make that myself at home. And that in the game season when there are so many tasty game suggestions .... . The menu taken with deer as main course. It was tasty only the dessert was substandard. A chocolate moelleux that was completely baked and then camouflaged with a chocolate sauce in the middle to make it look like it was running .... . And the tiramisu .... way too dry and I know what I'm talking about as a pastry chef. In other words ... I doubt to return

You are in the right place here for price / quality, even on days other than Monday.

So eat on a Monday evening according to the site's monthly menu of 48 EUR for half the price. We have eaten well. For this money you will have to search far to find a menu. BUT: it is certainly not allowed to advertise that it is the monthly menu. We have not seen any dish from the monthly menu. Main course according to site was venison. We got pork tenderloin and the table next to us got duck breast. And it was also a speed pace: at 2.5 hours aperitif, 2 starters, main course and dessert (we do not drink coffee). Tasty but we expected more.

It was better than I expected and I already had high expectations. Everything was perfect for us. Very friendly service, no too long waiting times, delicious food, beautifully decorated and the outside terrace is really so cozy! Worth 5 stars! We will be back anyway.

You enter a stylish interior with an eye for detail. Afterwards you will be guided to your place by the friendly and well-cared for room master. On this warm day we were able to enjoy the stylish and peaceful inner garden. Then we could enjoy the refined dishes that were accompanied by matching wines. All this was accompanied in a harmonious atmosphere by the well-trained staff. Cardboard highly recommended.

This restaurant was probably the place to be in the 90's, today it's a bit outdated and pricey for what it is. They're lucky that they still have their clientele from "back in the day" to pay their bills. A lot of people are sharing stories about the "marktmenu" but to be honest, their menu is outdated and holds nothing special, especially for that price. Some of the staff is friendly, some of them could retire so choose wisely who you want to serve you. The only advantage is the terrace.

Allergies or tolerances are not taken into account even if this has been communicated in advance. They just ask at the table what person it is but for the rest you get the same menu, not adjusted. A shame because afterwards I am really sick of it and now I know that this cannot be repeated.
