On a Saturday evening we went for dinner with friends. We made a timely reservation. On arrival at 7 pm (the restaurant does not open until then) we were escorted to our table (for 4 people), down the stairs next to the window. It was very quiet because we were only the second table that was taken in the restaurant. The menu was handed to us. A little later the waiter came to take our order. We all chose the market menu. The aperitif was served, albeit without snacks !!! Shortly after our aperitif we were waiting for an hour ... we were still waiting for the starter ... Meanwhile there was a smooth influx of people and the restaurant was almost full. The other tables were served quickly and even got a starter while we still didn't get any snacks. Our patience was lost ... We spoke to the boss why it took so long before we were served further.
His explanation was "SOMETHING WALKED WRONG IN THE KITCHEN, THE RIGHT CARD WAS NOT PASSED, YES, THAT NEW TECHNOLOGY OF THE PRESENT" ...
We were not helped at all with this explanation !!! The boss was going to do everything to serve us as quickly as possible. We got an extra aperitif "on the house" ... A so to speak gesture from the boss.
In the meantime, snacks were on the table at 8.15 pm and around 8.30 pm. the appetizer. Afterwards the main dish was served. This was very close together ... so you had to "swallow" your food more or less quickly.
Very unfortunate that everything went so chaotic.
The food itself is super tasty, but for the service the Cherry Garden is not recommended !!!
