The sole dish was on the mediocre side and the relatively cheaper price was offset by expensive drinks. After previous visits it was very disappointing this time.

Best fish in town !! Sushi and tuna is spectacular!

Sunday evening 2 June 2019 we ate here as a couple. Food was fine but the service was below par. We had to wait a very long time. My starter was served 15 minutes later than my friend's. There was no spoon with the dessert. Again no ministry. Then I ate the Dame Blanche with a fork from the table of the neighbors :)

I do not say that food is tasty but here at the Catch ... good food.

If you like sea delicacies then you have to go there there are also other food

Fish, seafood, wines, desserts, ... everything your heart desires at the highest level! View of the harbor, great friendly service, ... I am thrilled!

Big place, trendy interior. But the quality of the cooking does not merit the high price. My fish was well prepared, but the undercooked eggplant that accompanied it ruined the dish.

Really recommended, delicious food, great ambiance, very nice staff and especially the live music from Peter Douglas and Frank in Person was a delightful addition. Just a blissful Sunday afternoon !!

Food was very good but the music was so loud inside, we felt as if we were yelling in our conversations.

Unfortunately I won t be going back here. The experience was soured after the manager, Yaleesa, came to our table at exactly 6pm, to tell us to leave immediately, without even letting us finish our meal. In her exact words I m not asking you to leave, you have to leave - what kind of service is that? We understand there are government rules and you are only allowed to stay open until a certain time, but there is a civilized way to talk to people. A little tip for the floor manager, Yaleesa - go around the restaurant at 5:45 PM and tell each table, Unfortunately we have to close at 6 PM so if you don't mind finishing your meal before that, we would greatly appreciate it. If you had said that, we would certainly have understood, and you would ve had repeat customers. Instead, you chose to kick us out at exactly 6pm, not even let us finish our food, whilst there were other tables still sitting there enjoying their meals. And then as the cherry on top, as we were leaving, proceed to tell us that we're never welcome at their restaurant anymore. For a decently high end restaurant, I d expect at least a certain level of class and tact from their staff. Never experienced such rude service.

Price quality ratio is completely lost. Really outrageous, actually. Ordinary feeding barn hidden in a gaudy chic jacket (typical Heineken hut) and the service very mediocre. Everything took a long time. Fries came after the meal, without apologies. Arrogant service, very curt. And with the quality of the coffee you will not get away even in a barn. Not to be repeated. Embarrassing display.

At pick up it was not busy, friendly staff and the food was delicious. Children's menus were quite large.

A nice location to dine along a small harbour, for a nice sun set dinner I'd recommend a rooftop table. The food is pleasant with simple fresh flavours, although I think the focus is more on ambiance then food. I feel it is more of a place where people go to see and be seen.

Service of the food took incredibly long, we were seated around 18:45max and our first course arrived around 20:30. But if you have good company and you're not hungry, it is a nice destination for a two hour wine&chat while you wait for you dinner.

so the only downside would be the in-cre-di-bly long......time you had to wait for your food. especially since you are paying a more high-end price for food and service. You would expect to be served your starter slightly faster, or a waiter/waitress could atlease apologize for the wait or notify that our meal will take somewhat longer to arrive if they are not capable to serve us timely.

One of the best seafood restaurants in The Hague, easy good choice, can t go wrong.

4.50 euros for a tea with ginger goes my way too far!

Food is good in terms of fish soup in advance.
Starters are more luxurious and tastier than the main courses unfortunately.
Interior and location are great.
Staff is nice but not really smooth.

Here we had the New Zealand HaHa sauvignon Blanc

We had reserved for table upstairs, which was confirmed again after additional inquiries by telephone
What surprised us, we were put on a terrace without heating, which was just too cold and I had to keep my coat on
I did not accept this and were allowed to go to the pent house, were it not that these tables were all reserved .......
Walked down again, where we luckily got a high table to the bar
If that bartender throws away a bottle even softer, the perfect place to dine

Rough night. We booked a table for six for my mom's birthday and the waiter was great and the service on point in terms of timing and attentiveness (something I pay extra attention to due to my time as a restaurant waiter, and the fact that the Netherlands is just notorious for having terrible waiters).

The food service took the right amount of time, nothing late or forgotten thanks to an attentive and experienced waiter plus a good instant ordering system.

The flavor of all the starters were very good except for maybe the steak tartar which was kind of bland. But considering we ordered two different types of oysters that were delicious (one of which suggested by the waiter), and four separate dishes to be shared, I'd say those odds are fine. The main courses were all also good, three of us ordered the Sole, one Lobster Bisque and the Catch of the Day and those were all good. The 1-Star review is for my uncle who ordered the grilled lobster. He had shared some of it with my mother, who after we paid for the bill had to run to the toilet and vomited immediately... My uncle spent his entire night on the toilet with diarrhea.

So yeah, like I said: rough night. My mom really wanted to eat here, it was a long drive, it's not cheap at all, so having two people of the party get extremely sick very quickly afterward is absolutely disappointing.

All the dishes are prepared delicately, the seafood succulent freshness, home "commercial" no more .... despite that, I recommend ...

One of the top seafood experiences of my life, the gorgeous ambiance of Catch is only surpassed by the incredibly prepared and inventive dishes accompanied by top notch service and wine list. The pork belly & king crab was to die for, but also the torched salmon sushi and palling & shrimp were extremely memorable. We stopped by while passing through Scheveningen, but it is most certainly worth a trip from Amsterdam or Rotterdam to visit.

I think that success will be ruined. Extremely busy, wine for the starter came after. To wait long. Huge portions, quality okay, no special flavors. I would have expected more from it in terms of price, nicely served with more special flavors, may well be a smaller portion.

Super good service with honest and good advice! Great food and choice for both meat and fish lovers. And respect, the whole restaurant was quiet for 2 minutes with commemoration of the dead. Highly recommended!

Everything here is perfect except the space between the tables which is nothing short of bad. you have to bother the other guests if you want to get up

Great location to eat fish and shellfish. Fried sole and lobster very nicely prepared. Reservation absolutely necessary. Friendly employees. Price / quality really excellent. We love to come back here.

What a covered tent this is. Glass of house wine 7 euros and bottle of water 7.25. Then you can also expect something. Plaice fillet ordered for lunch. Wet tasteless fish with a mountain of Risotto. Don't know what Catch is aiming for, in between Simones and Encore? They fail both. Incidentally, also the decoration / hygiene our doubts. Bright spots, the tall blonde waiter, nice guy who tries his best. Know that you have to be careful with reviews because it is not the intention to write a case down, but management will work because otherwise it will not work out.

I went here for dinner with my in-laws. It was very tasty food. We all feasted with them. I would recommend it to everyone if you want to eat well for a good price quality ratio.

Delicious fish dishes, caviar and lobster. Grade is a 10+

Opening hours says closing time at 1 am. But kitchen closes at 10 pm.
Very disappointing.
