Resort Città Romana Review

Everything was very old. It's getting worse. A thorough renovation is required. If it did not have to be, I would not want to live here anymore.

Looks nice but it is not , poor maintenance, poor cleaning, poor wifi and outdated bungalows. Cutting my stay short now as someone smashed into my car that was parked in the parking space outside the bungalow and drove off without saying anything. The park have not got back to me about any solution after 5 days of waiting for the manager to call. The bungalow has a drive in parking space but no access still after 5 weeks of asking to get the bushes cut that were scratching my car . Very very sad

I found it very nice there, especially that it only takes a few minutes to walk to the beach

What a pauper park! 1 star is still too much for this resort. After working hard for a year, make a reservation at this resort. Upon arrival we were assigned a house. Upon entering, the incredible smoke smell immediately caught the eye of a heavily masking perfume. So this did not help. Upon closer inspection in the cottage we came one after the other. Blood on side of the seat's seats, puke on the door style, blood on the curtains, filthy floors and couch cushions. Abandoned house immediately. And continued after the reception. They said among themselves that the problems really had to be solved in the assigned house. Then we were assigned another house. At the first inspection of the ground floor it seemed to be okay. However, when we arrived in the bedrooms, the sperm stains were on the carpet. On which again the house immediately left. And called the front desk. Given that we were not going to use a house with them in the park provided we would get something decent. It was then said that the money would be given back. No apologies no sorry no solution for the problem. Just get the money back. Understand from people from the area that the park with names is widely used by seasonal workers. Seems to be a completely different target group than families with children.

Citta Romana is no longer a real holiday park, they have visited people who have bought a house there

There is a swimming pool inside the park and there is everything you can do but I deducted a star because the beach is not really a beach but otherwise everything is fine.

The facility is larger than expected and very quiet. There is a small but nice playground for the kids. A small bay can be reached in just 5 minutes on foot. Our house was very clean, somewhat dated decor, but not dirty at all. Washer, dryer, second fridge with freezer, everything was there. To switch off perfectly

The houses just a nightmare. Dirty and worn. There was not even a decent knife in the kitchen let alone enough beach chairs outside or a beach umbrella. We would not book Citta Romana anymore.

The citta is getting old. We are since 4th years time and again for assembly in Rotterdam.

For the meeting we had, the facilities were more than adequate.

It was a super nice stay the staff was super friendly, the apartment was clean, the grounds just nice, but unfortunately we could nowhere with our dog to the beach and there was a small power outage but was quickly redone.

We had a villa without sauna. The hot water didn't work in the ground floor bathroom, this, after a discussion with the receptionist we got a discount for a further night. It is near the beach. We also rent bikes there, it was price worthy.

Had an Easter brunch here yesterday. Unfortunately it was poorly organized so we had to wait for half an hour for coffee after we arrived and at the same time get the soup ?? The dessert was also served before it was cleared .. The staff were friendly and did their best, but clearly was not in charge .. It all took a very long time. The quality of the food was also disappointing. The pumpkin soup was very tasty!

Nice houses, very nice staff. We felt really comfortable.

Room a bit dated. Service was great. The location is perfect. Not far to the beach. Equipment of the holiday homes was very good. We were very satisfied but everything could be maintained more.

Nice area and also the place "Hellevoetsluis" are worth a trip! If the weather is right you can have a nice time here and also there are many culinary delights.

In the winter, the house is quite submissive. You cannot regulate yourself warmer. There are warm floors, but the point makes little sense. Windows nopakoti not good, the wind is blowing through the cracks. We live for three weeks, no bedding changes. Good internet connection. The rest is ok.

We liked it very much there. The complex is very well maintained and the people are very friendly. There is a playground and an indoor playground nearby. Proximity to the beach, enough possibilities for excursions.
The house was always freshly renovated, everything was new and therefore great. The indication of 2 bathrooms is a bit strange, as the bedroom is downstairs with a large bathroom and an extra second toilet next to it. This, however, without a sink, although there would be enough space in the room. So when the baby was sleeping in the parents' bedroom after using the toilet at the sink, we didn't have to wash our hands so hygienically;). The beds were very good, but 2 mattresses on top of each other and no frame, i.e. the grave grew bigger and bigger. Otherwise the house is equipped with everything and we felt very comfortable there. A major problem was that the 2nd bathroom on the upper floor had no toilet and the spiral staircase is very dangerous. Having to go to the bathroom at night was a pain.

Good location for vacation or temporary residence. Very quiet place, with a good restaurant and bar, swimming pool, the houses are very good, well equipped.

Well-kept houses with lots of privacy. Very friendly staff.

Positive:

Only 5 minutes by car from the North Sea beach. Free parking spaces on the North Sea beach. Very good restaurant.

Negative:

Except for the restaurant no four, but a maximum of 2-star standard.

The house looked very attractive on the outside, but was actually quite shabby inside. The mattresses partly worn out, partly renewed. My wife was about 10 centimeters lower than me in the double bed.

But what was the worst, especially at the moment, when particular importance should be placed on hygiene, was the cleanliness. Coffee rings from the predecessor could still be found on the tables in the kitchen and living room and on the window sills on the first floor. All furnishings, especially on the first floor, were dusty. There were cobwebs in the corners. The furnishings in the house were very old, rancid, sticky, and worn. The bathroom was old and worn too. One was disgusted to come into contact with the shower curtains.

The wifi didn't work. Allegedly a technician came to fix it, but the wifi still remained inoperable.

It got particularly disgusting when the sheets were removed before leaving the house. Here several yellow spots were visible on the pillows and the pillows. DISGUSTING! That should really not be the case in today's times.

For 250 EUR a night you get a much better quality in other parks.

The only thing to be emphasized is the nice staff at the reception, as in the restaurant.

The Duinhoek restaurant is excellent and, contrary to the standards of the houses, offers fine cuisine.

For people who are traveling without a car, the walk to the beach, which is about 4 km away, is very idle. You are definitely dependent on a car, especially with children.

Nice accommodations, very clean and well equipped. Furniture as new.

Been lovely campsites but since the takeover it becomes a large resort with the same building kits and the coziness is suddenly a lot less and feels a bit chilly

Very nice and well-kept holiday complex.
Slightly higher priced .. therefore only 4 stars.
Beautiful beach at Rokanje can be easily reached by car in about 20 minutes.
Next tank and shopping about 5km away

You can also give parties there to eat weddings etc well

Beautiful little houses with garden and directly on the sea

Partly a bit worn but very nice. Depends on which bungalow you have. Single houses are best because there is a larger garden and no direct neighbors

Verry bad here yoday( elsia ) bar made kleaning dust at bar dust gowing in drenks oooo not good

Despite the fact that we left our bungelow tidy, a considerable amount has been withheld from our deposit. We received the accompanying photo from the reception as a reason. Scandalous.

I assess it from the point of view of an employee living in the resort area and I must say that this is one of the best locations I had while working in the Netherlands. The house inside was damaged and neglected (that's why 4) but the surroundings are a plus, an additional advantage is the free use of the pool.

Unfortunately, you can not go to the beach with the dog and have to drive away, which was not to be read before.

A pleasant environment to live as an older person. I would like to have a house here to spend the old age.
