Very good experience from everyone.
From the Front Desk, to the Nurses, to Dr. Costa, all are very friendly, knowledgeable, & professional. They make make you feel very comfortable.

My Neurologist is Excellent!!! She always takes great care of my concerns & health!

Dr.Ahmed is great but when I called to see about getting an infusion for my migraine I got transferred to his MA I left a message asking for an appointment that was 2 weeks ago and I have not received a call back luckily my migraine went away the following day but it would have been nice to have a call back to see how I was doing

Dr. Kenneth Van Owen is an excellent doctor; he presents his opinion, explains options, and never rushes me. He is a caring and most capable doctor, and I'm so glad to have found him!

I've been going here for a few years. I recently started seeing Ashley Brewster and let me tell you she listens. Her and her M.A. Jessica they return calls. They respond to pharmacy quickly. I feel like I'm their only patient. They seem genuinely concerned, the will say why didn't you call. This is why we are here. They are going truly a God send.

*Update. The office reached out to me and we were able to get an appointment setup. It was all handled very professionally and I think we are back on track. Hoping the below was just miscommunication. Reserving five stars for follow up.

Went to see Dr Van Owen for some items I was concerned about. Met with him once and he scheduled blood tests, a sleep study and an MRI. Got all of the above done and reached back out to Dr Van Owen about the results. I have called five times and left messages at several numbers over several months and can not get anyone to call me back. The customer service and lack of any sort of follow up is appalling. I really hope the results of everything are good because I ve lost several months waiting now. Im now left trying to find another Dr that can read the MRI.

Dr. VanOwen and his team are amazing! I have been seeing him for over a year! Whenever I am having a medical emergency they always get right back to me with an answer or if I'm in pain they help me quickly! Keep up the great work!

Dr Jennifer Chester and her coworkers have been so wonderful to me. They are kind and patient, and helped me so much while we've worked to find solutions to my medical needs. They are fantastic!

Dr. Ahmed s knowledge is stellar! He managed my symptoms until he got to the cause. In addition to his tenacity, his kindness and understanding patience make him a true healer

I have a mixed review. Ashley Brewster is an amazing practitioner, and I would recommend her to literally everyone always. Dr. Ahmed on the other hand, though nice, I wouldn't recommend to anyone ever. EVER. He didn't follow the protocol for Botox shots and caused me horrible horrible debilitating side effects until it wore off. Don't go to him. Schedule with Dr. Brewster instead. You're welcome.

In addition to being very knowledgeable and helpful, Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Chester is a kind and friendly professional with an upbeat personality. The office staff was professional and courteous. I was able to get a timely appointment and have my medical issue resolved quickly.

This clinic is the best. Dr. Ahmed and his staff are a very kind and understanding group of people. They truly care about the patient and whatever problems you are having. I have never been rushed and always understand my doctor. If not then I ask questions that are always answered promptly. It is always a special time just to walk in and be greeted by a very sweet and kind young lady Miss Debbie. These young people make your visit as comfortable as they can. Right down to Michelle who drew my blood while we were just talking away and I never knew she had even stuck me. I will surely share my experience there with other people so they know they can expect the kindness and integrity from a great medical practice.

As I was in Research as a patient my Dr. was discussing with another Dr. What testing to be done. Another Doctor walked by my bed and introduced himself and it was Dr. Ahmed, M.D. I had never met him before. He asked me what was going on and I told him and he said with a spinal tap I can tell you exactly. It was Gilliam Berra and from that time on He not only is the best Neurologist bar none and you know I would have none other than Iftekhar Ahmed, MD. for my Doctor. Stan Gunnels

Dr. Kohake and her staff made me feel completely at ease. Dr. Kohake was very attentive and remembered details from my hospitalization a year ago.

I have had an excellent experience at Research Neurology Associates. Debbie greets you at the door, she is friendly and professional. I ve never waited too long either in the waiting or exam room. Jenny makes me feel comfortable and known, more than a number . Dr. Ahmed is very thorough, quiet-spoken and competent. He s also a good teacher to the resident in the room. He s a good listener! Lastly the young lady who makes the appointments knows her stuff! I feel well-cared for by this team!

I'm not the easiest patient there is, what with multiple diagnoses. Dr Costa is patient with all my issues. She also started me on Botox for migraines and it has worked really well. The office staff are some the best also.

If I could give you negative stars I would! I sat on hold for 30 min just to be told that you will not see me because my TRICARE referral is in hand rather than being faxed to you directly. Also, if your job involves customer service then maybe you should learn how to talk to people without belittling them.

Jennifer Parriera is the most amazing RN out there! I would definitely recommend this practice to all my family and friends. She has went above and beyond to help me through this rough time.

I was very pleased with my visit to Dr. Kenneth VanOwen, M.D. He was very patient, kind, compassionate. He took the time to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend this physician to anyone.

This entire group is worthless. The doctors we saw at research hospital for this group either had no badge or anything else that would make you this is a doctor he looked like some guy of the street and we would wait all day for him to come for him to only show at 9 at night. The Dr who have neurology release Dr Kohake couldn't give us a diagnoses just a it's probably this so you could take these pills and it might help. And getting any paperwork filed out with office is a nightmare we had the insurance fax them the paperwork because it has to be returned in a short time it's been over 10 days since they got it and are now saying they don't know if hey can fill it out since they didn't see him. Yes you did in the hospital now they are saying they can send it to the Dr for follow up but not sure he can fill it out either the only reason we went to research is because it was close and didn't know the extent of what was happening. Do yourself a favor go elsewhere not HCA hospital that these people practice at.

Knowledge and caring staff, with good patient care and very informative about prognosis and treatment. I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Kohake and her staff and would highly recommend them to others.

I absolutely adore Dr Costa and her staff! I have had 3 appointments, now, and I ve never had a long wait, either in the waiting area, or room. Dr Costa really listens and works hard to address one s problems. I was able to see her a second time, in one week, for treatment for my migraine headache! I have to see HCA physicians, due to my insurance, but would absolutely, continue to see her, regardless!

Best of the best. I have struggled my whole life with a debilitating disease and most doctors brushed me off with little concern. But I am treated like a human being here with real needs and real emotions. I am listened to and cared for like I matter. That has been better than any medicine or treatment from my past. I am also receiving, finally, the treatments I need to have a better quality of life than I have ever had before. Thank you guys. *Happy Tears*

I saw Dr Kohake for my neuropathy and she really looked at the meds I have taken in the past, the issues in my back and neck and ordered huge amounts of blood tests plus MRI s for 2 places on my spine. Right off the first bloodwork she found issues and concurred with a Hematologist from Research to try to help me immediately. She explained the seriousness of what is happening and with Covid 19 as to how dangerous it is for me. She has been the Best!!
Research Med and now the Neurology Dept are absolutely amazing. Oh and the staff as you walk in the door are just wonderful as well! I wouldn t go anywhere else nor let someone go anywhere else!! I love this place! Thanks Dr K and all of the staff at Research Neurology! ,

I've been seeing Dr VanOwen for several weeks. He is very thourogh. And his medical assistant is very good. Always returns calls in a timely manner. I would recommend this office

Dr Costa is extremely knowledgeable in the area of care I have been seeking. She listens with intent to hear my concerns then communicates in a way I can understand a plan to improve my health. I am very grateful for how much she has helped me.

I have gone to this hospital for a pregnancy and also to find a neurologist. I knew walking into Research I would find a great person to help me. The hospitals are always clean and tidy. I also love that there is always someone there to help you (because this is not so easy to get anymore)! I always feel safe knowing if my small home town doctor can't get it right I always have Research to fall back on.

I am 57 years old. I have migraines, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, and have had several surgeries. Jennifer is the first medical professional I have visited that has taken an interest in helping me. She has managed my migraines to one a week and treats them with meds that work! She recently fought an insurance battle for me over a period of 6 months resulting in treatment that has made a difference. Thank you Jennifer!

Dr. Kohake has made me feel so comfortable, she is patient and truly caring. She has worked through my migraines with me and helped find what seemed like an impossible remedy. Her office staff is very welcoming and helpful. So glad I found these people!

We have been seeing Dr. Kohake for almost two years. She has one of the best bedside manners that I have encountered, listens patiently and answers throughly and in a manner a layman can understand.
Her staff is top notch also.My wife had an issue recently that needed immediate attention even with the doctor out of the office . Her kind and wonderful nurse whom I can not remember her name. Helped me by contacting contacting the doctor. Thus ending a very stressful situation for both me and my wife. Highly recommended.

Everyone that I ve been in contact with at Research Neurology has been truly exceptional!!! They consistently go above and beyond to help and offer a variety of treatment plans. They are very kind and treat me as a real person, not just another patient. They all seem to care about my welfare and progress. They really listen to my concerns and address them. They are all very caring, even walked outside to help me find the medical building when I could not find it on my own. I have never been to any other medical facility where I was treated so well. Wonderful practice. I see Dr. Ahmed at Research Neurology. He is very through. Kind, patient, explains everything and Dr. Ahmed cares about his patient's. I feel as though he doesn't just take care of the physical..he is concerned with your Entire well being. The staff is great. Debbie at the front desk is a beautiful caring person. All the nursing staff is outstanding. Back office and front office people are excellent. Every person in this office is always there to assist you in any way that they can. It is the happiest Doctor office I go to. Everyone is in a great mood willing to help and they make you feel good about yourself. Thank you for Research Neurology!

Dr Costa and staff are great. I chose Research after finding that I would have to wait 4 months to see a nearby KC Neurologist. I called around and found Research Neurology with reasonable appointments. They cut the wait in half and I sacrificed nothing. Hard to beat that.

Dr Kohake has been a life saver for my husband, Allan Henderson. He did not want to see a specialist because he felt he had an illness that just had to run it's course. To some degree, it does but, she has been able to help him live a more "normal" life with her knowledge and support.

Research Neurology in Belton, MO is such a friendly neurologist office. NP Jennifer and assistant Taylor are always so welcoming and friendly. I always feel comfortable every time I go there. I highly recommend Reseach Neurology in Belton, MO. I love this office!!
