My wife has been fostering dogs and cats with RPM since we moved to Houston in 2014. The experience has been a positive one all around. We get to save animals, my children get a house full of pets (we already own 2) our own pets like the new entertainment, and the coordinators and volunteers are all angels working behind the scenes to coordinate all the moving parts to save each and every life. Well done!

Love this organization. They pull only from BARC. And, transport to out of state rescue and adoption groups. And, fostering is only parenting until transport. Typically only a week or two. No hanging out in parking lots or pet shops to get dogs adopted locally. And, only long enough to improve the pet's quality of life and help them feel loved and cherished.

I love fostering for RPM. The foster coordinators work so hard to save lives and are super responsive when you have questions! Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of the big things you guys are doing for the homeless dogs and cats of Houston! You rock

One of our employees rescued a small terrier mix outside his home and contacted me to see what to do with it. We got in touch with Rescued Pets Movement and since we are in Houston they helped us through BARC to get the year and a half old dog neutered and all of its shots and tests. When we could not pick the dog up due to a work mix up, they found another pet foster person who picked him up and brought him to my office! Then a week later, they found a rescue in Colorado who would take him and find him a good home. When I went to drop him off I was impressed with the people who worked there and the volunteers who were helping to get the animals transported safely and cleanly. I don't know who these people are that are leaving short nonsense bad reviews but Google should take them down if they cannot prove these people have actually taken an animal, etc. to RPM. If you are leaving a review have the decency to state what the issue is and not just attack people. Yes, I also leave bad reviews where they are earned. When I went to the RPM facility I found it quite clean for a place that handles over 100 animals per week. I did not see a single rat anywhere. Everything about the operation was handled professionally. Thank you for taking care of the little dog who was in our lives for 18 days. To all others: Rescue or foster please and PLEASE spay and neuter your pets.

When I run into such devoted team members as I have here, I know I found the right place to help. Anyone who does what these wonderful women do deserves a pay raise and a promotion! Great job Krista, Jessica, and April. I will be sending everyone I know who also wants to help pets here!

Unfortunately, Houston has a pet problem with many irresponsible people who don't get their pets fixed and microchipped. Enter the RPM: they offer transportation to Colorado for thousands of homeless Houston pets, working with various shelters to keep as many pets alive as possible. I couldn't rescue as many cats as I do without this organization!

BEWARE! Not sure why this place is called rescued pets movement, I was in agreement with this place that they would be able to take in this puppy I found on the side of the road that had obviously been dumped there, severely malnourished and a few behavioral issues because she was abused by the people that had her before I found her, was in contact for over a week with them and take her into her check up just to be told when I got home that they could no longer take her do to her behavioral issues what a joke, they even told me they would help try to find her a different rescue to pick her up and a week later I still haven t heard from them, AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!

Great organization that has saved thousands of animals. They are great to fosters and treat all of their animals with love and care they have helped make BARC an almost no-kill shelter! Our brother even made them a bench and arbor for his Boy Scouts Eagle project.

I m sure they are helping some dogs and some of the staff have good intentions. However, there is some questionable activity in the organization. The first dog I got was the wrong dog. I was giving the medication to her and then noticed it wasn t the dog from the picture. We confirmed it was the wrong dog and then had to adjust the medication. The 3 dog I was sent home with was aggressive. If you read the Glassdoor reviews there is a bit of incite to greed and possible corruption. They ask you to not adopt because they would lose out on the money they make off of selling the dogs. I was upset to discover this. I recommend finding a different shelter unless you want to dogsit for them for free.

These guys are incredibly efficient at slinging dogs (and cats) out of Texas to other facilities. I also must add I have met some of the Nicest people who work there, from the foster coordinators to the vets, drivers, and kennel cleaners, they are always ready for the next days challenge.

I love this place, everybody here has a HUGE heart and are absolutely devoted to animals, I used to foster here and they give you everything you need to take care of the animal. If you have time join them to foster, help in other activities or donate.

I ve been fostering and volunteering with RPM for a few months now. Few things bring me greater joy in the midst of a pandemic than helping transport 100s of dogs per week to find their forever homes out of Texas. The pet overpopulation in Houston is atrocious and RPM is doing a valiant job of saving lives and giving these animals a second chance. Adopt don t shop. Fostering saves lives.

Amazing rescue group - save so many dogs and cats from BARC. Consider fostering through RPM, its usually a short term commitment 1-2 weeks and then the animals go to a rescue in Colorado where they find their forever home. RPM has most supportive foster organization and provides all the food, supplies, medical treatment that you need and you cannot fail. you are not allowed to adopt your fosters! They save so many animals!

I've had such a positive experience with RPM since I began fostering for them a couple of years ago. They're easy to work with, pick ups at BARC and drop offs at their building are easy. We get to help them save lives and yes sometimes it's hard to say goodbye to the sweet pups. My son loves to get to know the different pets we have fostered and can't wait for the next one. #savethemall

They are a little pushy for new fosters, not much for communication. But the members love to help anyway they can! Especially a new foster parent! Good salesman. But I love what they do for the animals.

I recently was going through my cat s paperwork to prove she had been spayed in order to move into a new apartment and found out she originally came from your organization. I live in Northern Colorado so I never would ve guessed she came from Houston but I am so happy she was rescued by y all. She had been severely abused before being rescued as well, she had two BBs embedded in her (one in the shoulder and one in the jaw). Many shelters would ve most likely put her down but I am so thankful RPM didn t! She has brought so much joy in my life and that never would ve happened if it wasnt for RPM. Thank you so much for being so caring for so many pets, truly a wonderful pet rescue!

I've worked with several rescues and RPM is so much more organized and on top of things. They LOVE the animals and do whatever they can to save as many as they can, while understanding their limits. I fostered dozens of cats and kittens for them and those were some of the best experiences in my life. I love RPM!!

LOVE RPM. We have fostered for them for months and always found them to be attentive, quick to respond, professional, and above all, highly passionate about saving every animal they can. The coordinators are tireless and hardworking, incredible human beings, and have made life as a foster dog home rewarding and easy.

Great organization, my Mom and sisters have fostered dozens of cats and dogs with them. I am completing an Eagle project for them that will be a bench and arbor so fostering families can have a place to sit when checking in their foster animals.
