Great airport Easy to navigate. Staff overall have always been friendly with nice clean facilities. Much less busy than other major airports. Plenty of amenities to suit multiple needs. Parking garage has pretty decent rooms with 8ft 2in clearance seems a little better than most other garages I have experienced. There is also ample outside parking as well.
Flights on time arrival easy all employees were helpful and happy which eased my anxiety of flying security was efficient and fast and it's always fun watching the planes out the window while you're waiting pilot was exceptional honored some in Flight elderly veterans the whole plane got to thank them it felt very patriotic and nice to be included in thanking those servicemen flight Personnel were great all in all very good experience
This airport is great because of 2 main reasons. It is very close to where I live and it's the perfect size. Other reasons for this place being great is that it's usually never crowded and easy to go through TSA. It's clean and has some gambling machines if you really want to play with your house mortgage before you fly out of town.
On a Fri night was exceptionally quiet. And magazine stands were all closed by 9pm! Only slot machines everywhere
RNO has the potential to be a very good regional airport but there is currently significant room for improvement.
My flight out is currently delayed over 1.5 hours because the airport has no functioning deicing equipment. Winter weather starts every year in the fall and snow has been in the forecast for several days so there is no excuse for this.
Last month my flight to Chicago diverted to SFO for fuel because they didn t have enough fuel at RNO and we arrived 2 hours late in Chicago.
It is easy to blame these issues on the weather and COVID but airport management needs to do better planning for and managing risks that can adversely impact RNO travelers.
I'm amazed about this airport, clean, small places to eat open, a pet room and even volunteers to cheer you up while you are waiting for your flight.
I'm glad have the opportunity to know one of the most beautiful cities in US.
TSA is only no taking off shoes. Super quick to get through security. Gates are easy to find. Food and gift outlet options are good.
A quaint, little airport reflective of biggest little town in America! There s a few good dining options, the bathrooms are clean, and surprisingly security was very fast to get through. I left on Monday at 6:30pm and their weren t that many people in the airport at all, a surprisingly relaxing airport to utilize for your travel needs.
