Renewal By Andersen of Portland Review

First windows went well. We had 11 windows replaced in our 1958 home. Uriel and John H. were great, professional, friendly and fast. They had so much of the job done the first day, we were able to enjoy new windows in most of our home that day! I definitely recommend Renewal by Andersen.

Second project more complicated: We had six windows replaced, but added egress to three of them. Unfortunately, we've had to do a lot more work to make sure everything is getting done correctly. We've been waiting for one window to be finished regarding the egress work, and after three months of work (project started in November 2020, it's still not done. We're also trying to make sure permits were filed with the county, but it has been hard to get responses to our questions. We haven't even gotten confirmation that someone is looking into it. Just no word at all.

All of the people I worked with on our project were great. The install crew, Uriel and John H. , were on time, clean, professional, and their work was excellent. We had 6 windows replaced and they were done in about 6 hours. They left the house clean and were great to work with. The windows themselves are top notch. Our house was immediately warmer and the mechanics of the windows are smooth as silk. Worth the price. I highly recommend these guys.

Renewal by Anderson replaced a patio door at our vacation home on the Oregon coast. They did an excellent job.

Not only did Renewal by Anderson installers show up early for their 8AM appointment, they left us an amazing window installation and cleaned up every speck of dirt. They gave us a window opening tutorial as well. Very professional and very courteous Service, and this after an only 4-week delivery from the order. Highly recommended!

Just had three windows replaced in our 1927 home. Renewal windows hit the sweet spot between the look of our original but badly damaged historic windows + storm windows and modern weatherproofing and convenience. The "invisible" screens are a fantastic upgrade. The price was also a good compromise compared to historic reproduction single pane replacements. I understand that installation crews might vary across the country, but our crew was absolutely fantastic.

On installation day, they arrived as scheduled and put tarps to protect our new floor. They even curtained off the area of the kitchen where they were working. They did have to break a couple of the old panes getting them out, but I didn't find a single shard or bit of damage to other areas of the house or yard. Even the one bit of damage to the interior paint, where the curtain tape stuck too hard, the company has already agreed to make right.

They also followed up promptly with our energy star rebate paperwork and other details. Great company. I would love to replace more windows in my home when I can afford to.

I am very excited about my new sliding glass doors installed by Renewal by Andersen. We had four doors replaced at the same time and the crew was marvelous. They kept us informed of their progress, showed us how to operate the doors, were very professional. I have no problem giving them a 5-star rating.

They sent me a discount letter in the mail stating I could get a $450 discount on replacing some windows. I gave them my address and then the scheduler actually hung up on me. If that is how they do business, then I recommend you stay far away from these guys

Had the kitchen bay window replaced. The Renewal by Anderson team, showed up on time, put down floor protection and a inside dust screen. Once the widow was removed, they found a little dry rot and informed me of it. I agreed to have them make the repair, which was extremely reasonable (1 hour of labor and minimal materials). They finished on time and the work area was left very clean which I appreciated very much. Paul, Kostya and Vitaly did a wonderful job, true pros.

Four double hung windows on the second floor were replaced and site cleaned up in 2 hours at 15 minutes. The windows and amazing screens (can hardly see them) are just great!

They were here for 3 days and got it done! I can already tell our furnace barley kicks on for the heater! So we are saving money on energy!

Replacing 14 windows (1 being a large custom size), from sales to final inspection, we were treated with respect. Promised a high-quality product and install, I am pleased to say they definitely delivered on that promise. The entire crew was obviously committed to our satisfaction. Highly recommended for new-builds or replacements, we will absolutely be using them again when it comes time to replace the other 28 windows in our house.

Ismael and ChIno installed many new windows for our old house. The windows are great (even in January!) and RbA did an excellent job of matching the spacing of the muntins on our existing windows. The installation was perfect. Ismael and Chino were timely, friendly, and super-quick. (An aside: we also learned a puppy-potty-training trick, at no extra cost.)

This was my second time using Renewal by Andersen and I will be back for more windows next year (one or two per year as I can afford it to upgrade my energy efficiency). The installers are very courteous and do great work. I m a happy customer.

I had the pleasure of having a team of FIVE amazing men do a complete install of windows and a sliding glass door on my home. Vasyl, Vlad, Juan, Vasyl and Brice did a meticulous job! Careful to use plastic sheeting to keep things clean. Respectful. Got my job done in 1.5 days. We had 10 windows replaced and 1 sliding glass door. They left my place as clean as it was before the job.

We have had Anderson Windows installed in the past and finally completed the last set. I absolutely love these windows, and this time is is not different. Excellent service from start to finish. Only had one hiccup and that was a lamp got broken which they are supposed to rectify, so hopefully that won't be an issue.

Our salesperson helped us design and select what windows and doors were best for us, including hardware, wood color etc. Our installers were fantastic - they were very detailed in their work and helped us get exactly what we wanted, including patiently dealing with our wanting to stain wood trim before installation. We would highly recommend Anderson Renewal - cost was higher but quality was well worth it.

This was a very good experience. I compared prices, materials and associated costs before choosing Renewal by Andersen of Portland. Each step of the process they were attentive and helpful. They made sure my questions were answered and that I bought the best choices of windows for my style, my house and my budget. They kept me informed of my order status and was able to schedule the installation timely, even earlier than expected. The crew of Valentin, Pavle and Alex were professional and very respectful of moving about my home and yard. They were so hard working and didn't leave so much as a yard leaf disturbed nor a scrap of paper behind. If I didn't have such lovely windows I wouldn't have known anyone had been around. The crew were curtious and kept the area cleaned up. They did a good job addressing the dry rot. They had an issue with one of the 2 doors closing correctly and diagnosed it as a warp in the door itself. The service guy later came out and confirmed the warped door and ordered replacements.

I had every window in my house replaced, even the sliding glass door. The job took only a day and a half. The windows look amazing, Uriel and John H did a great job. They were friendly and answered my boyfriends numerous questions and gave a lot of really good advice. They were knowledgable and professional. I'm so happy with my new windows!

Still have not had "final walkthrough" and got paperwork for

We had Team W-13 , Viktor and Valantyn install our new windows. They only took three days to replace every window in our home and they did an outstanding job. My wife and I are extremely pleased. I am glad she talked me into spending the money as an investment in our home. It was totally worth it.

From start to finish - a great experience!

We purchased our fixer-upper in 2016 and the windows were the last thing on our fix-it list; however, we received a very attractive offer from RBANW, complete with financing (which was hard to find with other window providers in the area). Our sales rep was incredibly knowledgeable about the process, the products and the specifics & preferences we laid out. We were able to make some really sharp customizations to the products, helping our house stand out in our neighborhood.

A two man crew arrived the day of installation. The original turnaround time for 11 windows and a nine foot slider was three days; however, Viktor and his crew were efficient and diligent, completing our windows a day early. That allowed us to get a jump on the finishing work like prepping, patching and painting. They set up quickly, removed the old windows with no damage done to the house interior or exterior and removed the old windows / junk, recycling what they could.

Now, anytime we are in our yard or working outside, we get a welcomed compliment from a neighbor passing by! We posted a couple pictures here to exemplify our finished products.

I had a window replaced by French doors, so some demolition, framing, siding, and sheet rock was required. The process went smoothly. The customer sales rep. showed me several options, and took into account what would be good with my small Craftsman Style home. The estimated time for permitting, door manufacture, and crew availability was very close to actual. The draftsman answered my questions on the actual size of the door, door glass, and framing so I could determine which size doors to get. Office personnel kept me informed of progress, and coordinated with other companies.
Siding removal was done by a separate company due to asbestos (CAB)siding.
The installation crew [ Tony, Vasiley, and Oleg] were on time, and completed the job in time estimated. The fiber board siding is fragile, but they did a good job fitting the replacements into the existing ones. The work was done well, the moldings match the existing ones inside and out, and the doors look great! They covered necessary areas with plastic sheeting and cleaned up all materials inside and out. I only had minor dusting to do.
The job is not quite finished; I have to wait a few days for the drywall person to do the taping and mudding. [I am hiring the painter separately. As well as the deck installation.]
I am very pleased with Renewal by Anderson company.

We've used Renewal by Andersen on three projects over the years. They have always done excellent work. Good processes, good people. When there was a problem with a product, there was no problem getting it resolved. Our last project was to replace a sliding glass patio door with a more sturdy and lockable set of french doors. Renewal by Andersen of Portland did this job for us. We assumed excelent work and were not disapointed. Anderson windows were installed on our house to the tune of $37,000. Their consultant promised to get us a copy of our warranty and info about a rebate. My husband and I contacted the consultant about it several times but in the end we had to hunt down a copy of the warranty ourselves and missed out on the rebate.

Definitely a great product Renewal by Andersen provides! The replacement of 17 windows with a sliding door and bay window was completed yesterday. My wife and I are definitely happy with the "new feel" of our home and not having the cold spots around window areas! Install went smooth, the crew did an awesome job getting the project done in 3 days and with quality craftsmanship. A big thanks to the super crew on the job, Julian, J.J. and Chino!!! Just one catch with all the greatness, it comes with a cost! Spendy for sure, but we were sold on the window quality and also warranty. Impressed from the start! Matt K was able help us figure out exactly what we wanted, keep style but add functionality to our 1928 home that only had 3 functioning windows. The installation with Uriel, Jhen H. and Julian F. went smooth and without incident. They were respectful of our home, neighborhood, and pets. Our windows have been in place for a year now, and we absolutely love them: amazing visibility, better privacy, awesome airflow, preservation of our window frames, and a nice finished look both inside and out.

Renewal by Anderson replaced an entire walll (old French Door and 3 ceiling to floor windows) with a beautiful large sliding door with adjacent windows and screens. Additionally, they replace an additional two ceiling to floor windows with a sliding glass door.

There work was amazing...very professional and excellent quality. The change it has made to the room is beyond words. From the first design meeting through the entire installation process, they were on-time and met all of my expectations. This was in the dead of winter with chilling temps, but they were able to seal everything at the end of each day and make the change seamless.

Thumbs Up! A great experience. The salesman explained what could be done, what our options were and thoroughly explained what we needed to do to prepare for installation of our new back door. I have always loved Andersen Windows and Patio Slider doors. This is the third house we have had their products installed. Our installation crew- Paul K, Igor R and Yuri were amazing. We were quoted that this would be a 4-day job. They work hard and efficiently and finished in 2-days. The three were professional, courteous, friendly, and precise. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the work and our experience- worth every penny! And trust me quality work and craftsmanship start at the factory and finish with the installers.

Theses guys are great to work with. They had my windows ready from the factory earlier than expected. Had them installed on 4-2-2018. Took about 6 hours to install. The color (bronze) is awesome. Love the fact that you can take both windows out to clean them. Also love that the screens lock. Can't really tell there is screen in the windows till you get really close. These 2 guys were easy to work with. Vitaly and David. They spoke to each other in Ukranian but that didn't bother me. After they were done they cleaned up and I signed the final paperwork and could go back to relaxing at home. Now I can look forward to a much warmer room. Thanks Anderson for an awesome product!!

Renewal By Anderson was a great company to work with! We replaced 7 of our windows and 1 sliding glass door. We also had a second sliding glass door put in. The windows and doors are very high quality and we've noticed our home has maintained the inside temperature much better- it seems that heat is not escaping through the windows!
The people were great and easy to work with. Very professional, prompt, responsive and friendly. They were also very clean and cleaned everything up very well.

I am so happy with my new Anderson sliding glass door - the cascade glass makes it absolutely gorgeous. The quality of the door itself and of the excellent installation are/were outstanding. They re also emailing me and sending stuff in the mail. I have responded and said to please stop bothering me, and yet they won t. 31 phone calls in a week feels like harassment to me and I ve told them as much. Horrible business practice to do this, and now.i will never use them for my window needs because of this. I ll look elsewhere.

We had 15 windows and a sliding glass door replaced a little over a year ago, and have been extremely happy with the results. They still look brand new. Our house is more comfortable and less drafty. We were especially pleased with the professional quality installation. Esmael, our head installer, was fantastic! He attended to the smallest details. Excellence showed with the rest of his team as well--Chino, Julien, and Jose. We were also impressed with our measurer, Yuri, as well as our very patient salesperson, Will, who answered dozens of questions. This was a big investment for us, and we were nervous at first, but it was well worth the money. We highly recommend Anderson.

We just completed a window replacement with Renewal by Andersen. The whole process was efficient, professional, pleasant and the results are amazing. We first used Andersen about four years ago for a large window project and called them about replacing some bedrooms windows. The prices had increased since the first purchase we made with them and it was about 20% more than we'd planned. The salesperson explained the reasons for the increase (supply chain and a lack of price increase for several years) and in the end we decided that we preferred quality over price. We also got a repeat customer discount. The installers, Juan and Jose Anthony, did a great job. They were punctual, clean (and FAST - less than 4 hours!), and answered every question. This is not the cheapest product out there, but it is certainly one of the best and we really appreciate that it is USA manufactured and that the installers are employees of the company and take pride in their profession.

Our decisions about window materials and styling were made in 2018 when half of our windows were replaced by a team led by Mike.
Happily, he returned with Sergy and Reyslan (?) to complete the work of replacing the last 6 windows.

The three Amigos came to my home and laid out how they were going to change out my old windows for the new high tech Anderson Windows. Valentin, Ivan and Pasha were extremely professional and friendly. They worked non-stop for nearly two days to complete the job. They did not cut corners or waste time. The made sure to keep my house clean. They cleaned up all the trash outside, as none was inside my actual home. The cleaned and vacuumed before they gave me a walk and explained the full features of each unique window.

Getting a bid on replacing two windows. Informed (not verbatim), Anderson does not waste their time unless you have a minimum of three windows to buy. Sorry I am not worth your time.....

Just had all our windows replaced (18) and they look fantastic!!! The three installers Boris, Nick, and Taras were incredibly fast, meticulous, and thorough from the beginning to clean up. They kept us informed throughout the install and even hauled our old windows away. I cannot say enough what a great job these three did! Highly recommend!!!

The installation team worked flawlessly to get 12 oversized windows pulled and replaced in less than 2 working days. The sales people said that they would put a super team together and the did.
