Do not be fooled by these fly by night companies. They will charge you an unbelievable amount of fees, your interest rate will be near 10% if not more, and they will attach a lien against your house. There is a class action on going in Southern California due to the fraud perpetuated by these green finance companies. I just caution anybody to read the fine print, and ask yourself why they do not care what your credit rating is. It is because you ll spend the next 30 years paying the loan off, and if you miss a payment.... no worries, they ll begin foreclosure proceedings against you and take your house. Be careful.

Very poor financing company. Told me several different rates to finance my solar panel installation. In the end they backed out of the deal AFTER the work was done which caused a considerable issue with my contractor. AVOID THESE PEOPLE!!!

The process was fast and very efficient.The professionalism and on time processing of the whole process up to completeness of the project is amazing.I highly recommend everyone.

Had gross problems with our contractor, Canopy Energy, a company that sparkles on the web--but left us wondering how they could possibly get that "sparkle." A representative from Renew Financial got the right personnel to get involved. Even then, there was a wave, a strong tendency, to cultivate us into being complainers. The Renew Financial somehow established a better network of communication between its own executive branch and its own front line employees who seemed to be doing a deliberate job of screwing the work up--really and noticeably. As such, the work was completed only days before we would have had to renew our financing application which would have meant a higher interest rate.

Highly unprofessional. Continuously lied to us. Will never do business with them again.

Everyone I dealt with was very professional and courteous, and explained everything about the process in detail and answered all questions I had. Great experience.

If I could give zero stars I would. The details of the loan were misrepresented, they are trying to change the fees and make them higher now that I'm trying to pay off the loan early. I had already made a payment via my property taxes and now they say I wont get that money back for nearly a year. The customer service is horrible. I took a loan to put on a new roof and wish I had not. Run away from these jokers!!!!!!!

Took 1 year to process a refund. Then they took out a fee for their horrible service. This company hides behind an adminstrator named David Taussig and associates which sole function is to act as an obstruction and provide mis information for this company.

Avoid renew financial, they have no ethics.

Excellent customer service. Eligibility is based on the equity in your house, not your FICO score.

Total scam!!!! Predatory lender that will drive up costs 1,000% upon signing the contract. Do not use this lender. Terrible what they have done to people in trapping them into loans by placing a lien against your house. Stay away.

Very please, because it was so easy to apply, and approval really simple, in less than 10 minutes I was good to go. They even called me to make sure I was happy with my contractor and installation, so they can release full payment of solar sistem. I highly recommend them.

Painless financing for energy efficient home improvements! Definitely recommend.

Applied for a solar panel loan 1 month before my contractor was ready to start the project, Renew called me a couple days later to ask me to give them screenshots of my mortgage statement which I provided. Didn't hear anything back for a couple of days, emailed and left voice messages to ask the status, they did not respond. almost a month after the project is done they call asking me if I still want to move forward with the project. Very unprofessional. They don't really value your time.
