Really nice hotel in a great location. We had to pay for parking and she up sold me to a deluxe room. Would have been nice if they at least threw in Wifi or breaky. Great view from the 22nd floor.

Needed one night before leaving Perth. Pros: Super clean. Comfy beds and pillows. Right on the beach. Cons: The night club 20 floors down closes at midnight. And the crowd knows the words to every song. No soundproofing you can hear everything in and out. Which means my neighbors can probably hear me talking to myself. Whoops! $15 to park and credit card surcharge. Not ideal for an inexpensive quick night, but if you can get past all of that, super cool.

We stayed one night here before flying out for an international honeymoon. Prior to this we had stayed a year previous and had an excellent stay. The renovations have been great the hotel looks fabulous....

This stay however was AWFUL. All staff were rude and dismissive, our booking originally didn't show the meals and parking of which we had paid extra to be included and we were dismissed by the staff until they found the extras on the booking.

Our "deluxe King" room was actually 2 single beds pushed together...great start to a honeymoon.

Our in house movies did not work and when someone came up to have a look he pressed a few buttons and said he would be back. An hour and a half later we were still waiting and called front reception to be abruptly told there was nothing they could do. No compensation was given for this.

We were also charged for some services we had prepaid for but by the time we realized on the credit card we were too fed up with the establishment to bother doing anything about it.

We were so disappointed and upset. we had paid extra to have a nice start to our weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We will never make that mistake again. we will never be back.

I was so impressed their customer service as staffs were so kind. Especially, Poonam from front desk, was exceptional. When my husband checked in, she greeted him with big smile and gave him very useful information around this area and about the hotel. As soon as we got back to the room after dinner, we received a complimentary wine from Poonam to celebrate our wedding anniversary. She really cares about customers and it just made my wedding anniversary very special. I was so lucky to meet her on the day! And I will definitely come back to this hotel when my friends and family visit Perth. Thanks.

Travelled a lot around aus, stayed at various 5 star places, however this hotel can recommend highly enough. The service is beyond exceptional and beats any other well known hotels. Arrived at 11am and the lady at front counter said that my room was ready, check in after 3 usually. Booked a most basic room however was upgraded to ocean beach view on the 18th floor. Rooms are refurbished and a great value for money. Customer service is beyond exceptional. The ladies at the reception and the guy at the bar that works the evening shift deserve a big thanks, keep up the great work you guys do. Would give this place 10 stars if possible...

We stayed here for 8 days recently. The staff were very helpful, the resteraunt was good and the location was the best. Great views from the observation deck. Yes it is in the upper end price wise, so one has to expext from a luxury beachfront hotel.

A very neat and tidy hotel, presents well and in a great location. Some nice views from the higher floors facing the ocean side. Rooms are a decent size and have everything you should need in close reach. Staff are very friendly. Pricing is good for what you get.

My daughter spent her wedding night at this hotel.
Bad experience. As she needed to book in early she was given a room on a different floor which is acceptable but two single beds pushed together and broken light fittings is not.

I was shocked by the lack of shade surrounding the pool. Only 4 umbrellas to accommodate dozens of patrons. We had to eat our lunch in the scorching sun with
towels hung over our heads. Even applying sunscreen regularly we were all burnt. I cannot fathom why shades had been removed from pergola areas. Expected more from a 5 star hotel. Will not be coming back.

We purchased a deluxe king with views of the ocean and walked into a room with two single beds. We insisted on a change, and got the king bed, but it was not a deluxe room and the views were not good. The hotel is very old and it showed. I wanted another pillow and thought there might be one in the cupboard, but there wasn't. And I left my new top hanging in the wardrobe. I thought they would call me and tell me, but they didn't. I won't be going back.

Gorgeous views of the ocean. Parking was easy, Staff are awesome very friendly and helpful, the place was a little tired though, and not quite as stunning as I remembered it from 15 years ago. Had a great time. Breakfast took too long in the one of the restaurants

This place has always come under scrutiny as being overpriced with poor customer service. My sister booked 2 rooms and held her wedding day on the observation deck.

The suites were large which was good, with beautiful views of the beach, but when we asked for champagne glasses for the room (which features an empty and dysfunctional kitchenette) they wanted to charge us $ - stating that the staff have to walk up and down the building! Ha! It s a hotel honey - that s what you do!
Strange attitude or approach to running one of the main hotels here in Perth. This place could be an absolute success but it s a whole
Lot of concrete and carpet.

Breakfast was terrible - over cooked scrambled eggs with half a kilo of bacon on the side, a couple pieces of dry sandwich bread - the kind you get from supermarkets. Really basic and unhealthy with nothing fresh on the plate.

Out of all the hotels I have stayed at this hotel is by far the best. What an elegant, comfortable and just magical stay. As soon as we arrived we were in shock of the value for money. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Beautiful little fountain in lobby area with comfortable bar, and an amazing restaurant with all glass windows looking out to the ocean. Close to restaurants, coles, bakery and a lovely park. The room was spacious and bed was like a dream of comfort.

I can't wait to come back to my new favourite hotel. Thank you..

The hotel is rundown and aged. You think with all the new developments they would do some upgrades. And i think the rooms are overly priced especially compared to other hotels in surrounding areas

We enjoyed our three-night stay here in January, however they re terrible to deal with them over an overcharge. I prepaid for parking when I booked. The lady at the concierge insisted I hadn t when we were checking out so charged us. I checked when we got home and had proof that I d already paid. My husband rang them the same night we left and they acknowledged the mistake. But even after chasing them repeatedly via calls and emails, they still didn t refund us. Even if it s not a big amount, we still feel ripped off so we wouldn t go back to this place even if the hotel itself was good. Service matters!

Rooms nice, clean. My biggest bugbear is when hotels do not have toilet brushes in the toilet - for obvious reasons why you need one. Pool was neat. For some reason one of the lifts the key card did not work. Some simple notes or signs not hard to do.

Very disappointing. Check in took over1 hour. I had booked Club Room & a room was allocated to us at back of hotel of view of Scarborough Beach Rd traffic & small view of ocean. I rang reception, to be moved & had to wait over half an hour to speak to Manager. I eventually spoke to someone at reception who said Club Rooms fully booked & he could transfer us to floor 22 with ocean view plus Club access. Old room. No bath. However to our delight a lovely lady by the name of NICOLE SEABORN changed our negative experience of check in. Nicole SEABORN served & attended to us in the Club area & went way and beyond to be helpful and attentive. Her easy, friendly nature was refreshing & informative. Nicole is a delight & a definite asset to your staff.

Stayed at this hotel once for 18 nights in Septemb...

Stayed at this hotel once for 18 nights in September 2013. Only stay here if you hate having money in your wallet. Costs are cut everywhere and they really squeeze you for money.

To give you an idea, it is $8 for two weetbix (as in 2 weet bix bricks). Outrageous. The portions are that small, and the menu very limited.

Housekeeping didn t change our sheets for the first 10 days; we had to ask them to!

On arrival, my Mastercard debit card wasn't accepted as a valid credit card, despite it functioning as one everywhere else, and so $200 was taken from me as a security deposit for the duration of the stay.

Nothing is complementary; everything costs money, even getting an internet speed higher than 256kb/s. I couldn't sleep the first night because the bed only had one duvee, which made it too cold. We had to request another blanket. Even though the room was called King Deluxe, the bed itself was in fact two mattresses pushed together.

They went out of their way to put a passcode on the TV so that DVD players and game consoles couldn t be plugged in. This was so guests were forced to use their movie service. This was despite their telling me beforehand through email, quote, It is possible to hook up Video game consoles with some changes to the setting on arrival done by the Maintenance department. After calling maintenance to the room, they told me without courtesy that this could not be done.

One night, I called room service but was redirected to reception (because room service was understaffed), who said they could take the order. We waited a full hour and called again to find the order hadn't been taken. We weren t charged after I suggested we shouldn t be, but then the eggs were runny instead of cooked hard as I requested.

The next day room service couldn t be reached for 30 minutes of calling. Was told this is what happens if you call late in the morning.

One of the waitresses acted in a manner that indicated a bigoted attitude.

The pool was closed on the only truly sunny day of our stay.

The people in the next room got away with making obscenely loud noises, slamming the door repeatedly at 3am, until we complained three times.

There was an irritating minibar check almost every day.

The main positives include fairly high quality food, lots of power points in the room, and a good view of the beach.

Overall, it simply doesn't provide value that corresponds to the extremely high cost.

Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough will happily take money from scammers like David Avocado Wolfe to hold events where they try and scare people with dangerous misinformation about vaccines and "toxins" and talk people out of life saving chemotherapy treatments.

Not a brilliant hotel considering its the only half decent place on the main St. Rooms are clean and comfortable, average food for room service, at exorbitant prices! Less than warm, less than tasty. Bring a take out home gang!

Great size room over looking the ocean and all the amenities you would expect, except a toothbrush. The restaurant was top quality with a great selection of dishes. It would be nice to offer the children a slightly more varied menu, nothing wrong it but think they could do better considering the main menu.

Check in was a nightmare. Because we booked through the entertainment book i feel like we were treated differently. We were given our room only to find the bed requirements weren't correct even though it was on the booking. When we went back to reception staff were non apologetic. Rooms are outdated and they charge a service fee for anything baught up to the room.

We were provided with only 2 towels for a room for 4 poeple who were staying 2 nights. When we asked for 2 more towels we received face washers instead. Very disappointed when we took our children to gaming room everything in there cost money not one thing was free or included in price we paid to use the facilities. It was very noisy, loud music vibrated off building that we checked out at 11.30pm and cut out stay short. This was our wedding reception venue 13 years ago and we had been many times since but sadly we will never go back now.

Very good service, nice ocean view and loved the buffet breakfast included. Budget friendly with a classy style. The only thing we didn't enjoy is staying longer in our balcony because neighbor smokes and we're not but the rest are good memories by staying overnight at Rendezvous Hotel.
