Renaissance Charlotte South Park Review

Well I loved the way they renovated. I got to help clean up so I got to see for my self. Got to meet some of their staff there they were respectful enough to where I would come and stay.

They are in the middle of renovations. The room we stayed in was already complete. It was ok. I can see the potential of the place but for the price I expected more. The air didn't work in our room & we found blood stained sheets on the bed. I usually bring my own sheets & towels but forgot. So, unfortunately it was a deal breaker. The front desk said that bc of the type of room we had there wasn't anything that they could do, so we won't return. But the location was nice.

I didn't have much view into the rooms but the smell was so nice and the staff was wonderful to deal with even opened all the doors for us.

I visited this property in November and loved the personalized warm hospitality we received by Debby Morgan. Having to return for business in January, I didn t hesitate and reserved a room here again. Tonight the front desk sent an employee by the name of Belinda Barroso to deliver keys to our room. I recognized this employee whom I had seen clean the restaurant floors in November. She called my attention because you can clearly see the love and pride she takes in her work! She truly provides excellent customer service! Belinda is an all around hands on employee with an amazing attitude! She strives for perfection, it is obvious! A true asset to the Marriott Company!

This was a brief getaway and they definitely meet my every expectation! Great corner room King suite with nice view!

Great location near numerous shops and restaurants! The service is impeccable! Everyone goes out of their way to serve you! Alex and Kate at the front desk are phenomenal and extremely courteous! Rooms are spacious and modern! 5 star experience! Highly recommended

I was robbed and beaten up the morning I had to come stay here and wasn't able to make my reservation due to the fact they took my pocketbook and they are going to deny me a refund. Its unfair I literally got robbed 2 times in a day

Parking sucked, front desk staff sucked, the hotel itself was beautiful and comfortable however how can you enjoy a place where the staff talk to you like you're beneath them. They really need to do some firing.

Clean, if a bit dated. Beds are super comfortable. only negative is that the room walls/doors are tally thin; you can hear literally everything that's going on in the hallways...

Very nice place to stay, walking distance to several small shops and to Southpark mall. The exterior of the facility is very modern and the interior has a lot of greenery. There is a nice big indoor fountain that looks great. The rooms are nicely furnished and the amenities are well done. Parking is not bad. If you can't park pursue near the building, there is a parking garage that allows you to stay out of the weather to get to the hotel. If you are a rewards member, you can get a high speed Internet upgrade for no cost. The only thing I would day that needs some improvement would be that the room a/c vents are near the top of the walls and the warm air stays near the top of the room. If you are sitting or laying down you will feel cooler, but as soon as you stand up you feel the heat.
The staff were friendly and were accommodatng. Lastly, the cost of the room was very reasonable for this area of town.

Haley was probably one of the best Customer Service Managers I have ever met. She made sure everything was up to par with everything for my stay. The Hotel had a great staff, Taylor and David at the front desk, Morgan and Kate in the restaurant and lounge. Everyone was nice, helpful and friendly. (which was very much appreciated)

This is a great place to stay for family fun, Business and Leisure travel.

Our family of 12 were on our way home from Jamaica. Our flight home was cancelled to Detroit and we were stuck in Charlotte. The airport was a nightmare in Charlotte worst experience ever. We got to the Marriott and they were absolutely amazing. Turned the grill back on for us at 1145pm so we could eat since we hadn t ate since 11am in Jamaica. They extended our stay until 4pm the next day since our flight was leaving so late. Our experience was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful rooms and great service!

Service was courteous, hotel was clean. Power outages at 1am & 3am Sunday morning prevented a good night's sleep due to the high pitched tone emanating from the phone during the outage.

Rooms great! Doorman was very friendly and helpful; staff inside not so much.

One of my favorite hotels. Great friendly service. They always have snacks and wine out in the evening by the front desk. They also have free drinks nightly by the bar area. Really great customer service. Always try to stay here when I'm in the area.

Great location for a work trip. Clean, quiet, and nice.

Wow the view is so beautiful the rooms are plush and the service is phenomenal

This room is phenomenal. The beds/pillows are so comfortable. My room is close to the elevator and very spacious for 2. The bar and restaurant had good food/drinks. Would definitely stay here again. Did not check put the pool area but kids looked like they had fun.

Lovely renovated rooms with unexpected design. I had stayed here years ago was pleasantly surprised to see the new decor. Excellent stay!
