The lobby, the bar and the courtyard are classic, making a stay at the Rosewood a must. Everything about this hotel is done well, except the rooms. The rooms are in serious need of updating. Some serious attention to the rooms and this place hits 5 stars every time. Great staff, which is typical of a fine London hotel. Even if you don't stay the night, you should check out the bar!

Excellent and expensive. You pay for what you get. 5* treatment and facilities smack in the centre of London. This is for those show to splash out and spoil themselves. Be prepared to find a bruised wallet at the end of your stay.

If you are rich and paying for stay, everything will look good.
Otherwise, it is slaves and masters atmosphere. Staff are arrogant, and very unfriendly except only a few. Back biting, sarcasm is the least of their problems. Awful place overall.

Absolutely amazing! My Dad and I were only there for about an hour but in that time we met their very kind and polite staff, used their immaculate toilets and free chocolates. I loved it and would definitely stay in their hotel in the future.

One of my favourite places to have a drink in London. Sit outside in the inner courtyard in the summer months and inside at Scarfe's bar when it starts to get cold. They have live music and the bar snacks are so good!

So disappointed. Called in for late breakfast, wasn't even given time to read through the menu as two very pushy waitresses insisted that I needed to order immediately as breakfast was closing. I ordered avo on muffins with 2 poached eggs.... even the food was rushed out - I felt like my custom was an inconvenience. Poached eggs undercooked as the egg white was still clear and I bit down on a chunk of avo stone that hadn't been removed. Not a great experience all round.

Set in a beautiful building with a really neat and clean interior design. The rooms are clean and streamlined, with low profile furniture and simple decor. Food is delicious and a decent value compared to some other five star hotels. Comfortable beds and genuinely friendly and social staff make for an easy and relaxing experience. Booked two rooms and the single of our group of 3 got a larger room with a separate shower and tub while my wife and I are sharing a tub with a shower head, but it seems a minor compaint overall. Had very high expectations coming from our previous Rosewood experience at Las Ventanas, and happy to say that we are glad we chose a Rosewood again.

Super fancy, I went to the cocktail bar with some friends. They had live Jazz music - amazing ambience for sure. Expensive as you would expect but if you're willing to splurge then you're surely going to have a great time here.

We are from Hong Kong and are quite familiar with the hotel brand Rosewood. We were very looking forward to staying at Rosewood but left feeling utterly disappointed and disrespected. The hardware, the external design, the location and the lobby decor are flawless but the room design is almost minimal. The toilet door in the room we stayed is extremely stiff and we could only open the door with both hands on the handle, followed by a strong pull. Service was okay; the receptionists were helpful and the housekeepers were always smiley. That said, I felt some of the staffs were quite prejudicial. I smiled and nodded at the doormen and the tall one just looked at me completely blank and emotionless. It was embarrassing. Similar encounter also happened when we had the breakfast at Holborn Dining Room. Food wise, the breakfast from the Mirror Room is possibly the worst I had, the sunny side up was burnt. We ordered a hot latte but the one delivered to us was in room temperature with a messy thin foam on top (picture attached).

The hardware is brilliant and is certainly of five star but the software (people, human touch and food) definitely has huge room for improvement. With the price they charged, you can easily find other accommodations with better service, better breakfast and better maintenance. The management team certainly needs to look into the operation.

A beautiful hotel in the Holborn area of London. We stayed one night and had afternoon tea. The hotel and rooms are modern and well appointed. We had afternoon tea in the Mirror Room which was wonderful. There is a gym but it s quite small and a few of the machines were not working, which was disappointing. Nevertheless, a very enjoyable stay.
