Top of the art hotel in London with contemporary but still English design and extremely nice, individually dressed and welcoming people. Restaurant and bar are a must!
The lobby, the bar and the courtyard are classic, making a stay at the Rosewood a must. Everything about this hotel is done well, except the rooms. The rooms are in serious need of updating. Some serious attention to the rooms and this place hits 5 stars every time. Great staff, which is typical of a fine London hotel. Even if you don't stay the night, you should check out the bar!
Amazing venue, friendly and helpful staff. The food was absolutely incredible.
Excellent and expensive. You pay for what you get. 5* treatment and facilities smack in the centre of London. This is for those show to splash out and spoil themselves. Be prepared to find a bruised wallet at the end of your stay.
If you are rich and paying for stay, everything will look good.
Otherwise, it is slaves and masters atmosphere. Staff are arrogant, and very unfriendly except only a few. Back biting, sarcasm is the least of their problems. Awful place overall.
Absolutely amazing! My Dad and I were only there for about an hour but in that time we met their very kind and polite staff, used their immaculate toilets and free chocolates. I loved it and would definitely stay in their hotel in the future.
Great place to eat in the Holborn Dining Room! Too long hours for staff tho.. Food was good definately fresh and well prepared, Desserts there are amaizing and most desserts cater for special dietary requirements!! (More than just the icing on the cake)
One of the luxury hotels in the UK, a different luxury.
Luxury hotel but above all classy. Great restaurant
Luxurious and wonderful private dining experience. Would love to go again.
Attended their Christmas party and had a fantastic evening. MLS
One of my favourite places to have a drink in London. Sit outside in the inner courtyard in the summer months and inside at Scarfe's bar when it starts to get cold. They have live music and the bar snacks are so good!
Very nice hotel, spacious rooms, great beds and incredible staff!
Absolutely awful service, rude management and massively misogynistic environment. Stay away ladies!
Lovely hotel. Great food. Spick and span. Certainly in the top end of hotels
I much appreciate that there is no single use plastic items in the rooms
fabulous service, great atmosphere
I'm going there with pleasure because I love the place, I love the food and the personal is very friendly
Very dog friendly hotel in the middle of London. Staff were so benevolent to our dog.
Great old school bar that opened 2 years ago.
Came here with Charles and Greta
excellent, listening band, drinking wine, had the small snacks, chit chat with friends. awesome place, I really like their decoration, enjoying their environment...
The most calm atmospheric unwinding hotel in London by far!!
Great place for quality food and drinks, lots of g&t options. Love the live music in the scarfes bar or sitting outside in the heated terrace
Superb hotel. Every detail is beautiful. Rooms are extremely quite. Beautiful spaces throughout!
So disappointed. Called in for late breakfast, wasn't even given time to read through the menu as two very pushy waitresses insisted that I needed to order immediately as breakfast was closing. I ordered avo on muffins with 2 poached eggs.... even the food was rushed out - I felt like my custom was an inconvenience. Poached eggs undercooked as the egg white was still clear and I bit down on a chunk of avo stone that hadn't been removed. Not a great experience all round.
Best hotel bar in London. But not always easy to get to served. Patience is required..
Absolutely the best in London classic.cockail experience, and lets not forget the ambiance and music makes you feel you stopped back in time. Straight up amazing bar tenders!!
Set in a beautiful building with a really neat and clean interior design. The rooms are clean and streamlined, with low profile furniture and simple decor. Food is delicious and a decent value compared to some other five star hotels. Comfortable beds and genuinely friendly and social staff make for an easy and relaxing experience. Booked two rooms and the single of our group of 3 got a larger room with a separate shower and tub while my wife and I are sharing a tub with a shower head, but it seems a minor compaint overall. Had very high expectations coming from our previous Rosewood experience at Las Ventanas, and happy to say that we are glad we chose a Rosewood again.
Very nice hotel with a very nice decor and quiet rooms.
Stopped for coffee. Fantastic looking hotel. Very plush and well designed. Very friendly staff.
Beautiful place. Great for a special occasion. Mix with the super wealthy but keep your wallet in your pocket.
Had a nice fine dining experience. Nice seating areas, delicious food. Cocktails are fab
Great place to eat, drink and socialise. Decor is spot on and the restaurant has a perfect buzz that means you can hear the people you're with but also feel the rest of the surroundings.
Fantastic afternoon tea, highly recommended. Very attentive and helpful staff.
Super fancy, I went to the cocktail bar with some friends. They had live Jazz music - amazing ambience for sure. Expensive as you would expect but if you're willing to splurge then you're surely going to have a great time here.
Superb Boxing Day afternoon tea, from the setting, staff, and most of all the fabulous food. All were outstanding, would highly recommend.
Delightful hotel with fabulous service. Beautiful bar downstairs, cute birds in cages on the stairway, candy in bowls by the elevator, attentive staff everywhere. Spa is nice too
Wonderful facility in Holborn, all the bells and whistles. Pricy, but if you can afford..... Why not?
What can i say...one of the best places ive visited
Hotel location is great, facilities are average, can not be seen with Chinese standards
Everything old in the hotel. Room smelled so bad. Staff were polite. Cut my 20 days stay to 2. I feel like i got sick on this hotel. Room tempeature flucates a lot. FAN BLOWING AT YOUR FSCE
Luxurious, relaxed, wonderful ambience, great service
We are from Hong Kong and are quite familiar with the hotel brand Rosewood. We were very looking forward to staying at Rosewood but left feeling utterly disappointed and disrespected. The hardware, the external design, the location and the lobby decor are flawless but the room design is almost minimal. The toilet door in the room we stayed is extremely stiff and we could only open the door with both hands on the handle, followed by a strong pull. Service was okay; the receptionists were helpful and the housekeepers were always smiley. That said, I felt some of the staffs were quite prejudicial. I smiled and nodded at the doormen and the tall one just looked at me completely blank and emotionless. It was embarrassing. Similar encounter also happened when we had the breakfast at Holborn Dining Room. Food wise, the breakfast from the Mirror Room is possibly the worst I had, the sunny side up was burnt. We ordered a hot latte but the one delivered to us was in room temperature with a messy thin foam on top (picture attached).
The hardware is brilliant and is certainly of five star but the software (people, human touch and food) definitely has huge room for improvement. With the price they charged, you can easily find other accommodations with better service, better breakfast and better maintenance. The management team certainly needs to look into the operation.
Excellent place and service, rooms were impeccable and we enjoyed the area as well
A beautiful hotel in the Holborn area of London. We stayed one night and had afternoon tea. The hotel and rooms are modern and well appointed. We had afternoon tea in the Mirror Room which was wonderful. There is a gym but it s quite small and a few of the machines were not working, which was disappointing. Nevertheless, a very enjoyable stay.
Best hotel in London. Amazing service. Beautiful rooms, beautifulplace.
Top service by Ameliano. A sophisticated hotel, which is very welcoming. They host a private fireworks display in their courtyard during New Years eve.
Stunning hotel... if you want to be based in Holborn (which is useful) I'd recommend here if you can stretch to the budget. The dining rooms does great breakfast and some great cocktails also.
Stunning! Stayed here back in 2014, what a place. Great location and rooms were on another level from any other hotel i have been to before! 5/5
Royal style premises, very spaceous. Staff is trying all their best, but still there is space for improvement.
Excellent rooms, service, restaurants, bar and location. Truly nothing I can imagine improving upon.
Absolutely beautiful luxury hotel with a great bar!
