Renaissance Brussels Hotel Marriott Group Review

Nice hotel, nice location, staff are great, but a poor air-conditioning and a very expensive menue.

Amazing hotel, was there with a big group of friends and had the time of my life

Great service, the staff was so friendly! The location seemed more business than residential and was a bit of a walk from city center. So, it s a quiet area but restaurants close early so your options become limited and/or, you have to travel for food.

The room and location is fine. But i have had serious issues with (1) club lounge being closed on weekend but not stated on booking site and (2) room service menu was a joke. A club sandwich was not possible despite being on the menu? What they could offer on room service was basically french fries or pasta.
Anyway - never again, would not recommend. Even would propose to avoid

Was good for the pandemic situation. I love the hotel location and the hotel rooms are nice.

Michaela and Maxim were wonderful the moment we arrived. Clean rooms, lovely views and attentive friendly staff put us at ease right away.

Excellent location and good service, but during my stay there was a dramatic renovation of the lobby and first floor which destroyed any possibilities for concentration and relax during the day. Breakfast needs upgrade

Updated rooms, but poorly furnished and staff is borderline rude (desk staff excepted). Not worth the room rate.

Absolutely not satisfied with this hotel.
When we arrived they could not find our reservation, our Half Board ... they did not find it either ... and icing on the cake the third night we can not choose our meal ... it is imposed ... .
The parking of the hotel 39 euros per day ...
Our stay of 4 nights returns to 840 euros without counting the parking ...
And I'm not talking about the water leak at the bathtub ....
Establishment to avoid. We will not go back and do not recommend it at all

24 hours later .. Due to these problems, the hotel manager contacted us to apologize. He offers us our 4 days of parking. Thank you to him for this gesture.

Great hotel, centrally located. Staff are brilliant had a great family birthday here and was really well taken care of

The hotel was terrific. Clean rooms, access to the pool for our kids and most importantly nearby parking. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Had to change rooms late at night due to a plumbing issue, got pool rash from a swim in the pool, and the mattress in the room is about 4 inches thick. By far the worst mattress I have had at any Marriott. Also, a lot of the restaurants close to the hotel are only open for lunch, so finding a place was dinner you are stuck with a long walk or just a few choices.

Clean and Friendly. Close to a lot of great things to do within walking distance.

Rooms are very attractive and comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Beware of noise on street side as of this writing, due to construction. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice hotel, nice welcome. The place is pretty much over the lobby and the restaurant. We had the breakfast included, the breakfast is a self very provided and very good. You have options. The rooms are a little old and the furniture but it remains functional.
There is an indoor pool heated to 28 degrees.

Good Mariott hotel in Brussels. Although not super centrally located, but with quite large, modern rooms. The service staff in the restaurant is not the fastest ...

The staff are very welcoming and friendly . The rooms are stunning and the breakfast buffet was delicious .

Fresh renovation and awesome lounge! Rooms are dated tho. Can open window -upgraded as Titanium. Cleaning ladies rock! Gym is awesome -worldclass.

The room was quite nice.
Parking for 48 hours for 15 euros on weekends was fine too.
However, there was no toilet brush in the bathroom, and there was no exhaust air.
The sauna area is an absolute cheek what is offered here. A small, dark cabin with a small, stuffy vestibule. A chair serves as a bathing companion shelf. After I like to order a second towel that was almost a problem for the staff.
The breakfast is very rich, but 25 euros are much too high and rather a cheek. Most of the time you have to wait for new plates because they are in the sink.
The business lounge is less comfortable than the sofas and lounge areas in the hallways. Most of the time there was also a lack of drinks here. Here was rarely filled in again.
That's all whining at a high level. But if it would come at a high price, you have to expect severe criticism. The hotel is way too overpriced for me.

Been to conference with refreshments. It was fine, too bad there was no fruit tea, so without theine, although it was organized by Mormons and they are not allowed to drink coffee or tea, but herbal infusions such as mint tea. So we could only drink soft drinks.

Nice, clean rooms with excellent views and comfortable amenities. The front desk is very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast selection is great and the food is fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel, good service and rooms. Ideal for staying of you have too do business in the European quarter.

Quiet and clean but remember to quickly claim your coffee at breakfast otherwise you will finish without.

Located 10mins from central square, it is priced fairly. Breakfast okay but a bit expensive. Rooms are decent.

One of the only places I have stayed in brussels that serves bacon eggs and sausages for breakfast, for this they get 5 stars

A bit far from the city center but close to the shopping street. About 10 minutes walking. Rooms are clean, modern and big. Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the highlight, diverse and tasty. There is a swimming pool that opens until 11 PM.

Although The staff at the restaurant during dinner were really truly rude and impolite. The food was below average as well so I wouldn t recommend eating there.
