Accepted full time job offer, after working Monday to Friday 3/1-3-5 was informed that my next work day was 3/11 and that I was only scheduled for 4 days a week. I was told this job was 5 days a week with plenty of overtime. Be aware that OT is paid after 40hrs a week and you are not guaranteed an 8 hour shift as you can be sent home early and forfeit and overtime in that pay period. So by cutting me down to 4 days a week I would have to work over 10.5 hrs each day to qualify for OT with mandatory .5hr lunch.
Great place to be in if you want to learn and want your ideas to be heard. Lot of scope to grow professionally. Management maintains great communication and staff is friendly.
Their remote process is not working. They rely on automated systems to do the job but those systems do not work and there are not enough people to fill the gap thus wasting the time of the people they are supposed to be helping. Lpkc in Edgerton KS is a prime example.
Thanks for taking over TERMANAL OPERATIONS at cp rail in Minneapolis it's a bigger mess than it was before typical wait time to get lifted is 2-6 hours ...completely incompetent and worthless
