There are 4 types: Early, Ripe, Olde and Splendor De Rijp and Olde have my preference, are the most tasteful and it all eats so well. The cows graze in the pasture and the preparation of milk to cheese is done on a natural - ecologically sound basis. Hopefully no increase in scale will take place anymore. Commercially, of course, interesting but this is still at the expense of quality and exclusivity of the Remeker cheese. Suppose that the Remeker cheese is available everywhere: Ah, Jumbo, Dane etc and many cheese and nut shops then there is exclusivity and possibly little more about the quality of this cheese.

This is really special. Milk cheese from Jersey cows that eat no antibiotics, no soy and no corn. No fertilizer on land. A particularly healthy herd. The end product, the cheeses, deserves to be famous. My wife has a histamine intolerance (HIT). As a result, she could not tolerate any type of cheese. The only one that can be consumed without problems is Remeker Pril. Furthermore, the organic beef is also of excellent quality and reasonably priced. Nice that some by-products are also sold, such as sourdough bread and mangalitza ham. Nice company that knows how to distinguish itself.
This Remeker cheese is simply a delicacy. Choice of early, mature, olde and splendor. The early and ripe taste a little creamy. The olde somewhat dryer with a taste that surprises the taste buds. The splendor is a story apart.

Unfortunately, but tastes are different. We tasted a piece of young Remeker cheese and old Remeker card and didn't like them either. The young cheese was quite tasteless and the old cheese did not have the taste that we expect and like from old cheese. Moreover, the price is very high. I want to pay a little more for something good (of course, etc.), but then I have to love it. You're doing it like everyone should, keep it up. Only not for us, unfortunately.
