Riemer has some of the best selections with competitive prices. In the last couple of years we have purchased from them hardwood, carpet and Cortec LVT to replace all flooring for our main, upper and basement levels. Most recently, Pat was our sales rep. He was very helpful when we were deciding on the best flooring for our basement level. Ryan has installed flooring for us twice now and did a great job both times. We highly recommend Riemer.

Highly recommend! I set up an appointment with Connie Salata, who showed me carpet samples at all price levels. Once I chose the samples I liked best, she came out to my house, helped me select the appropriate size runner for my stairway and the end product is gorgeous! Couldn't be happier with Connie's sense of style, positive attitude and attention to detail. Everything was just as promised! She and the company are amazing!
Mark Wiacek was the BEST!!! I originally came in looking for an area rug and ended up buying our new kitchen floors and lower level carpet here because Mark s service was exceptional. He went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule for measurements, then executed the project swiftly and accurately. This place is terrible. They were supposed to drop off carpet on a wednesday and didn't show up until friday (no phone call). They when they did show up they broke a painting and majorly scratched the paint and drywall. When I complained they kept passing the buck to someone else. I am a big advocate for small business but this place is terrible.

Great company to work with. They let us have the sample book for a long time while we waited for our countertops to be installed so we could make sure we picked the best marmoleum color for our kitchen. Installation happened in the middle of COVID and the employee worked efficiently, was incredibly kind and above all worked with a mask on to keep us safe. I highly recommend this company.

The Reimer family s customer service is second to none. My family has been using Riemer flooring for our dental office and family home for years. They will come to your place of business or home to measure and provide a consultation. Their product selection is superior and second to none. I would not shop anywhere else. I have friends that have purchased carpeting with lesser reputable stores and have had horrible experiences where their calls are not returned. Riemers are a family business that stands behind their products.
WARNING: Terrible place to shop for carpet. Salesman was very rude and unprofessional. When I told the store manager/owner my complaints, he told me to go somewhere else. He did not even validate my concerns or issues....just sent on my way. RUDE. STAY AWAY.

Dave O, the front desk, the installation guys - everyone throughout the process was a pleasure to deal with, very professional. Dave understood our budget, and helped us get good carpeting without the pushy sales devices you so often encounter with big ticket purchases.
They came and measured my home and never called back. I had to call multiple times to get any info. My information was not entered into the system so no other assicaiates could help me.
After finally getting ahold of the original associate, my quote was not prepared and when they emailed it to me, they refused to find an installer.
This took place over a couple of weeks. A complete waste of my time.

We had our entire 2000 SF ranch home renovated. Riemer removed the wall to wall carpeting throughout and replaced it with beautiful hardwood. Selecting the best color and width of hardwood was very tricky but Kim Riemer came through for us and helped us select the perfect flooring. The installers were all very professional and hard working. We couldn't be more pleased.

Very disappointed... It seems like ownership is very arrogant and single minded (money}, namely Paul Riemer. Seemed to carry the attitude that if you are not from Oakland county, you aren't worth working with. I will never go into that showroom again nor would I ever recommend Riemer floors to anyone.
Kimberly Riemer and the Riemer Floors team were a huge help when we bought and renovated our 1931 colonial. Kimberly listened to what we wanted and made great suggestions. She even had some creative solutions for dealing with our two very active dogs. I would recommend Riemer to anyone looking for new flooring for their home.

Our salesman, Loren, was excellent, helping us narrow down our carpet selections among the thousands of choices. He was pleasant and attentive without pressuring us. He ordered samples we could have at home which really helped with the decision making. The team of two Asian men (I did not get their names) who installed our carpet were awesome! They showed up several hours later than planned, but Reimer kept us informed of the delay, which was due to the previous customer not having their room prepared before their arrival. Once they did come to our house I was afraid they may rush through the job to get home on time, but that was not the case at all. They took their time and did a very professional quality job. These guys were meticulous! The padding and carpet were installed perfectly and without a single scratch to our walls or baseboards. You could tell they took great pride in their work. They were the ultimate professionals! I highly recommend getting carpet from Reimer.

We went to Riemer for their large selection and reputation. Dave Ohlinger was very easy to work with. We found what we wanted, and although, we didn't get a great price, it was a fair price and their professionalism, scheduling, quality, made it overall a great value. There were a few defect boards and they worked with us and the manufacturer to get a refund. He kept in touch throuout the job and I highly recommend him and the store. The floor is beautiful and we love it!
I gotta tell people I had a perfect experience at Riemer floors. No relation check the spelling. Lol. Highly recommend our salesman Pat Gahman. Friendly, answers questions, and goes away when necessary for no pressure sales. I had 3/4 prefinished hardwood installed in my whole first floor and my installer (ask for Gavin ) really exceeded all expectations. Previously had a liquidator install my floor with ALOT of issues. So glad I chose Riemer floors this time around.

I had Reimer come in to stretch my carpet which after several years of cleaning, vacuuming, etc. It was bound to happen.
The carpet reps came in, moved furniture, explained what they had to do and proceeded to do a great job. I was amazed considering I had had installed a carpet with a different color border. You cannot tell anything was fixed. The guys were also extremely polite and professional. From my first call to sighing the paperwork at the end was a good experience.

The Riemer Floors Team provided not only outstanding product offerings, but service. The upfront design support to replace flooring in our Mid Century Modern home helped us select the correct flooring (both carpeting and tiles) for our 1954 home. The high level of service continued through the removal and installation process. Also, we found a vent that was covered several months after installation and this was immediately resolved. Another important aspect, everything was completed within the defined time frame. We have used the big box stores in the past and our satisfaction level for product, service and price is higher with Riemer Floors. We plan to use Riemer Floors again on our next project.

I was referred to Riemer via a co-worker as she had used them for multiple projects on her ranch style home. Stephen came and did all the measurements and came back with a quote less than 24 hours later. I explained I was on a time constraint as I'd like to have the carpet ripped up and replaced with hardwood floors prior to moving into the home. He promised it would be done in 3 days if not less. Even with the issue of my concrete floor being uneven, they still completed the project on time. Stephen did things the right way by having me visually see the color of the floors prior to starting the project and even meeting with me on site at my work to confirm and sign off. I will be calling them again when we redo our upstairs. Great work.

We have worked with Dave O. for many years. We are now on our fourth home and would not use anyone else for our flooring needs. So this company is still working hard during the pandemic. They tried to help with contactless options the best they could, mailing samples, or coming outside with them, though it was easier to go into the store. However, I didn t realize until the day before that they only scheduled one person to carpet a very large area. Maybe this is because of current events? They called the night before to inform me that it would take two days instead if one. The day-of, the scheduled installer unfortunately was hurt and could not make it. Thankfully, a stand-up installer named Kevin stepped in and managed to do this job all by himself. He worked so incredibly hard for two days and did a fantastic job. He made it right. He deserves all the credit for making this happen. This company is lucky to have someone like him on their team. We can t thank Kevin enough for what he did. Kevin gets 10 stars. All the stars. The 4-star review is because there were some problems along the way, not related to the installer, but again, they were resolved and I understand that this is a very difficult time for businesses.

I have used Reimer Floors for over 20 years in 9 different homes. They have done dozens of different installs at these locations. I have never had a single problem. They do quality work and stand behind their products. Their sales staff is knowledgable and trustworthy. Carl is my salesman who is wonderful to work with. The front desk staff is easy and friendly, the installation crews are great and scheduling is easy.
These guys asked me to come in for an interview to repair all types of floors from defective installations, Due to originally employing unqualified people to do skilled professions (obviously). I turned them down as they offered 17$ hr to do repairs that any journeyman (myself included) would charge hundreds for in order to save a 30k installation from entire replacement or a lawsuit. Pay the pros like pros and they can save your business. I DONT WORK FOR IMMIGRANT WAGES. SORRY. 17$ to do REPAIRS??? ARE YOU INSANE? And they are still calling me... Which tells me they need to get realistic and offer better wages for their repair artists. As no one has filled the spots yet. Such a prestigious area they service and have huge installation problems??? Simple solution: stop being cheap in your idea that installers are not your backbone, bread n butter and golden goose. Because GOOD ONES ARE. And, well keep hiring untrained and unqualified crews and you can expect more of what you have now.
