I've been here a few times know and it's always a positive experience. I visited this time to see the brilliant "Shorts-on-Tap" "Women in Revolt" showcase of short films by female directors/producers. Shorts-on-Tap alway run really interesting programmes of short films spanning every possible genre - highly recommend. Regent Street Cinema is slightly "jazzier" than the usual Brick lane venues used for the screenings.

Went to a screening here last week and it's a really nice little cinema, just a couple of mins walk from Oxford Circus. The bar in the foyer is good and has plenty of drink choices, we shared a bottle of red between 4 and everyone enjoyed it. Definitely for adult film buffs rather than families but that's what makes it good. Will be going back.

Great independent cinema with a cool history. Serve drinks in real glassware, seats are lined with quality velvet and there are hardly any ads before movies. Amazing it can be so quiet given its central location.

A beautiful art deco cinema in the heart of London, showing classics and not so classics. The best thing is that people in independent cinemas know how to use cinemas: there are no people using their phones!

I have purchased the tickets for a Kinoteka Festival that was subsequently cancelled as a result of lockdown. I have tried to contact Regent Street Cinema multiple times: over form on the website, through phone and their Facebook, and 5 months after they still ignore my messages, yet decided to keep the money for the service they have not delivered.
Real shame as I was a regular visitor and I really liked the atmosphere of the venue.

Beautiful restored old Cinema, watched the wonderful documentary on Teddy Pendergrass "if you don't know me" He was such a brilliant talented artist who had real charisma and stage presence. He should have been much bigger than he was, hopefully he can charm some new fans with the legacy of music he has left behind. Check the documentary and listen to his music the man to me was magical and a brilliant performer.

The Regent Street Cinema is a nice small cinema with nice seats on Regents Street. Eight of us were there on Wednesday evening to watch Evening Shadows. The film was great but we were very disappointed by the service at the bar. We asked More

This beautifully restored art deck cinema in Regent Street was featured by Robert Elms on one of his Saturday BBC radio London shows. Think it used to be part of the L.S.E. Happened to be in the West end on the opening day so popped in to a shiny, gorgeous black bar for a coffee to take in to the Art Deco cinema. I watched old black & white BBC Arena newsreels from the 1950' s - ........on. What a delight, especially as I was by myself on a rainy day in London.

Compared to how it looked before renovations, I think the interior is a good blend of classic design with a modern touch. The cinema is small but during the times I've visited has never been full and my friends and I have usually had a whole row to ourselves. I like this as it doesn't feel like your typical cinema visit and on the whole, more enjoyable. Sometimes I wish they showed more recent releases as that's what I find more appealing.

A very nice cinema, with comfortable seating and decent sound. The screen is ample size for the auditorium, but if you're used to screens like IMAX, you might be disappointed. There's a bar with a good selection of spirits and beers, and the toilets are very clean. All in all a great movie going experience.

Amazing atmosphere and comfortable seats. Steep enough so that the view is completely clear. Special nights with refreshments are always well organized, might need to book in advance to find place though. Really wish it was a little bit cheaper, as I would then always be there.

Hidden gem of a cinema within the University of Westminster building. They do little publicised Wednesday matinees of old films at an incredibly low price, I won't quote it, you will think it's a typo.

Double bill of Monterey Pop and Rolling Stones 1969 concert was great and indicative of the cultish bills that come up.

Nice bar area, good coffee, spotless loos. Friendly staff. Comfortable seats and lovely sightlines. Can't fault it really.

A real find. Great cinema in central London, above average bar, good selection of arthouse film. The bar can be pricy but ticket prices are surprisingly humane for central London. They do regular double features which are an especially good deal.
