Regal Cinemas Barn Plaza 14 Review

I've been going to The Barn for decades. Great theater!

A cozy Family friendly atmosphere. Much smaller than there usual Regal cinemas with alot more theatres for showings. Still keeping to there standards of Friendly courteous service with compfortable seating set up this location at the Barn Plaza is a local community favorite where friends gather together to watch there Favorite Movie in a clean relaxing vibe where the younger generation like to gather and just chill out in a cozier theatre. Our Family has been going there for years. I personally like all there Cinemas.

Avengers:Endgame the second time was a joyful communion between me and my excitement!

Saw Detective Pikachu here in an empty theater with my daughter and girlfriend. Friendly staff, helpful people at the snack counter, and let me just say how nice it was to have an empty theater for my little one's first movie in a real theater...for myself and any other potential people she could have disturbed lol not really relevant to the review or score, but just wanted to add it here.

Solid theater, pretty hefty prices but what else would you expect at any theater these days?

Good environment, good concessions sand, and all around nice place

You ever wonder why this place is called the barn? Well I know, but I m not going to tell you... pfft, take a history lesson for once. What I will tell you is that this place is nice and laid back, but dem prices tho.

Lines are small, movies are not crowded.
Would be 5 star, but. Time for new seats.

My lady and I had a pretty good experience here. The staff was polite, friendly and welcoming. The prices at the concession stand however are very ridiculous. Why anyone would pay $4.50 for a normal sized water you can buy for $1.50 anywhere else is beyond me (no shade) Lol. The theaters are pretty small and the monitors are just as tiny, they also seem to look a little out dated.

Very disappointed that you offer hot coffee but not hot tea like you used to. Your machine has the spigot for hot water; how much harder can it be to stock teabags? I do not want a huge cup of cold beverage with my movie.

Great employees. Terrible they are closing bc of pandemic for next few months.

This theaters outdated with uncomfortable seating they need major upgrade. Food at low quality....

Older theatre but they play the same movies. Only one person selling tickets for 14 movies while other staff stand around talking.

We have enjoyed this theater in the past. Until 4 weeks ago when we had a bad experience. My husband I attend over 100 films a year and many are at this theater were we purchase refreshments as well. We arrived on a Thursday evening around 4pm and the line was fairly short. Our ticket sales person was on the older side and seemed a little unhappy that afternoon. We had paid for our tickets and had started to walk towards the theater and then he requested to check my husbands man bag 6" x 7" for weapons, he opened each compartment and sales agent still was not satisfied and was instructed to empty the contents on the counter. We felt this too invasive and decided to request a refund. The manger was called and did not even look up at us when I requested an explanation or ask for a security guard to perform the search. We are totally for security, but this was too invasive and public. We will not be returning soon and encourage of friends to do the same.

After long time went there with skeptical thought how it gonna be compare to last not so good experience of sound quality, happily surprised that this time it was perfect.
Last time before few years Hindi movie "Bhag Milkha Bhag" couldn't enjoy due to poor sound system. We started to go Regal Oaks, PA which is little more far from us, about 50 minutes drive.

This time Hindi movie "Gully Boy" thoroughly enjoyed with perfect sound and picture quality.
In-between for a while they stop showing Indian movies, thanks for starting again as this place little closer, about 35 minutes drive.

Saw Bohemian Rhapsody !!! Haven't been to the movies in forever
The ticket price of $13.25 was a bit of a shock and concessions are always WAY too expensive, but i spent many hours at the Barn Cinema when I was a teen so loved the nostalgia of it.

We went here to see an Indian film and were very impressed to see that they had Indian food items at the concession stand. Not sure if it was for the film or year round, but we were very impressed nonetheless for a mainstream theater to have such diverse offerings

Previews always prevent the actual movie from starting on time. Why must the volume be set to ear splitting level?

No high backed rocker seats, no recliner seating here. Seats are not comfortable. Theater nice, but seating isn't great.

Normally, this is the only theater I go to in the area as it's relatively clean, cheaper than most places, and has friendly staff. That all changed today. A friend and I went to see Fantastic Beasts at 7:05. Since we were younger, we have always bonded over all things Harry Potter and she lives in Chicago, rarely coming back to this area. We waited to see this movie and planned it out a few days in advance, only to arrive 5 minutes beforehand and learn the show was no longer showing at that time. We were advised by the nice girl working the ticket booth, in a scripted tone, that it took some time for movie times to update online.

I have a few questions for management. Do you expect your customers to believe this spoonful of bullshit? Did no one think to change the showtimes until a few hours before (we checked multiple times that day to make sure)? Do you not double check the schedule or is everyone besides the teenagers working completely incompetent?

We will not be returning because of the desire for almost 0 customer satisfaction and utterly complete lack of common courtesy by the management there.

Thanks for wasting my time.

Closest theatre to us. Could use an upgrade in seats like Quakertown.

Although the theater is slightly dated compared to some of the megaplexes being built these days, the facility is very clean and well maintained. The staff and management are very friendly and efficient. A great place to see a movie!

don't go on a day when school is off, the lines are ridiculous and I ended up missing the first ten minutes of my movie

Wife and I just went to the the Regal Moivie Theater in Doylestown. We will never go back. The place had a stench of a college frat house that has never been cleaned and whose inhabitants never shower. Disgusting. It honestly made me want to puke. The hallways were even smellier and the bathrooms were unclean and had popcorn all over the place. Unacceptable.

My son left his wallet there and an employee gave it to the police who returned it with my sons money still in it. How wonderful for the employees honesty. We did not get the employeed name. Our big thanks

Luke and Gabe are the only reason I like this place. everyone else is dull and rude

One ticket seller. I know movie prices are ridiculous, but $50for movie,popcorn and drinks. I would think the theater would be nicer.

No Heat. My family and I shivered while watching a two hour movie.

Friendly Staff - Clean Theaters & Bathrooms - Everything you'd expect from Regal!

The snacks and soda drinks are too expensive. Especially if you are taking 3 or 4 kids to see a nice movie. You have to pay like 35-40 dollars on tickets and 40-50 dollars in snacks for kids and drinks. They need to make it a cheaper place and not a lottery fair. I love the movies but I like AMC better. I don't care if I have to drive 45 minutes to 1 hour just to see a movie with cheap snacks and tickets.

It helped that Hustlers was A-wait for it-mazing! Although the boys who sold me the ticket, sold me the popcorn, and punched my ticket were all very nice and friendly. The theater was clean. And the bathrooms have bomb lighting for selfies! No Dr. Pepper her btw. Sad. And also, would it kill them to hire some girls?

I like the Regal Barn plaza. But one of my major complaints is that is so stinking cold in the theater. I have to bring a blanket with me in order to stay warm. Otherwise, we have never experienced a problem at the Barn.

Great place for watching movies... Good choice of food and drinks. I wish they would get more comfortable chairs. I do go here often.

The movie was $10.00 for seniors. A bottle of tea was $5.75.

It needs updating but price and service is comparable to other theatres in the area. I do like that they have a wide selection of movies at any given time

Last 3 times I ve gone, the wait has been ridiculous-10-15 mins. They have rearranged the setup so you have to pay for your tickets at the snack station. No doubt this is to generate more sales with their food. Get more registers open. Heading to a different theatre in the future.

This place is an amazing place to watch movies and enjoy the great seats and service.

DONT LISTEN TO ANY OF THE BAD REVIEWS this movie theater is a GREAT movie theater for if ur not tryna go out tooo far but u want to go to a nice place to watch a movie that recently came out and new ones. They have REClINER CHAIRS perfect way to enjoy the movie. My dad take me and my family there when its a movie we really want to see and know that its gon be good i believe this is a good place to go see movies at.

We enjoyed going to this theater. While many theaters are going to assigned seat ticketing, this theater still let's you pick out your seat once you get in to the theater. The staff was friendly, too.

During the week is certainly less crowded and you usually can find the seat you wish . Snacks can be pricey.

Im only writing this review because its finally something my wife and i believe we should do with all visited locations to help other people decide.

I've been here a few times; once when I was a teenager, and now that I am a husband and father. Is it me or is the place getting worse? The place smells very bad like a old hamper or gym or something.....

Its a shame because its a really nice place within a nice and clean town. What it needs is a facelift and General Manager who takes pride in first impressions. Don't let the new exterior paint fool u. The place still smells inside and is very sticky.

Great theatre. Staff is very courteous and helpful. The sound system is not overbearingly loud (saw an action movie and I wasn't deafened). The seating is comfortable. When I went the large popcorn came with a free rerill.

The Barn is clean, has friendly service and it's rarely crowded.

We have watched many movies here. This a a very nice, clean, well-maintained theater. The Starbucks next door is a bonus.
