Leadville/ Lake County Animal Shelter Review

We lost our dog and they found her an hour later! Great people who really care about animals work there!

Called to see if I could get a little help with my dog - can t afford to get him to the vet - they told me to go to Denver - Like I have money to do that if I can t afford a vet bill?? Then they said THERE IS NO HELP HERE! Extremely rude, unprofessional and completely unempathetic.

They really care about the local animals please adopt.

It s always a wonderful feeling to adopt. The shelter is friendly and helpful.

The ladies here were super nice & let us use their yard briefly, because my dog is a diva. (He absolutely refuses to do his business on a leash because he s spoiled with a fenced 1/4 acre.)

I was starting to worry about how long he d held out after hiking all day, but nervous to let him run free on our trip because he doesn t know the area. The staff here didn t even hesitate to help me out & my little guy was a much happier hiking buddy.

Just adopted a new member of our family from there. The staff were awesome!

Drove to Leadville from Eagle, but it was worth it!!! Amazing staff. They stayed late so my wife & I could pick up our adopted fur babies.
