Nice, fairly well-maintained course, not too challenging, but still a public city course. Everyone is very friendly. Nice putting greens and driving range. Nice parks all around with running trails. Just the price can be a little high at times for even a simple 9 holes walking.

Such a great place to play and practice. Very excited to see what the new range has to offer in June! Staff is great and the greens are incredible for a public golf course with all the foot traffic they get. Highly recommend!

Flat with limited trouble, this Cincinnati municipal course is situated adjacent to Lunken Airfield and provides for an entertaining round of 18, 9 hole par 3, or footgolf. Excellent practice facilities as well. Resident PGA pro Kyle Jones is the man.

It's a good, inexpensive place to get a leisurely round in. However, It's hard to get on the course after school lets out for the summer because of youth golf instruction. Then high school golf dominates after school hours in the fall.

My Dad worked at the driving range for extra $ in late 40's. Dad picked up a couple of broken clubs out of the trash and on his own time repaired them for our use as kids, with short shafts, etc. Plus a bucket of "smiling golf balls". When we took a Sunday drive from Fairfield in summer of 56 to cruise River Road, Dad stopped in to see his old work mates at the driving range. I was 7 years old, followed him in the range office.and when looking at the clubs remarked quite loud, "Dad, these clubs say City of Cincinnati just like the ones we have at home". Boy did I embarrass dear old Dad. Mom laughed and said well what do you expect , the boy can read.

Have played course 6 times this month, the grounds superintendent should get big raise, course is in great playing condition. The staff is great. Only thing from keeping a 5 is that we have been behind 6somes and 8somes, when made aware staff did take care of it. Love this course just weekends sometimes difficult.

I went to hit a bucket of balls at the driving range at 4:45 and even though the website says they are open until 7 they informed me that they were closed. There were still people hitting on the range and he followed me outside to turn off the machine.

Best shape I've seen the course in years! Straight, short, and easy with little hazards to lose your ball in. Great course for beginners and amateurs. Cashier, server, and starter were all friendly to me. Good time golfing!

This is a wonderful place for juniors to practice. 1 large bucket is only 5 dollars when you buy a YGA card (6 dollars) and the card lasts for the entire year! I would highly recommend this facility!

Great and inexpensive place to play golf on the East Side. Not a ton of bad qualities except for the road surface for the driveway is very poorly maintained. Other then that, a very good driving range and putt/chipping practice area!

Its better than nothing, but if you think a bit longer drive to another course is too much, it is not. The driving range is a driving range. The course isn't in good condition. For any semi serious golfer I would head up to Sharon Woods instead, or another Hamilton County course. The prices are either similar or cheaper. The course only has convenience on its side. It is okay for practicing, but still we all know it doesn't take much to mess up your swing, so it's not worth it trying to take a divot in clay. Also once you play it twice the holes all look the same, any landscaping company could take a piece of flat land and construct this golf course. Tall grass is a boring hazard, and thats about the majority of what you'll see.

My teenage sons and I love the front 9, back 9 and par 3! The staff is always super friendly and encouraging. This course is lovely, well-maintained, relaxing. Also, the airport activity of Lunken adds to the excitement and ambiance of the course.

Very nice course, with a simple design that will probably please beginners. Overall flat, so walking is really an option, and you won't lose many balls as its wide fairways are pretty forgiving for the most part. I go there pretty often and I would recommend that you check it out. They have a driving range, a 9 holes par 3 course, and three practice putting/chipping greens.

Awful, poor mgmnt, everytime I give them a chance they are shut down or not functioning for one reason or another. Always head to Avon fields after being disappointed and have a great day. Been turned away 5 times this season on relatively slow week days. Starting to doubt that Im just unlucky.

Good easier course and friendly staff. I like that there aren't any water hazards to lose balls in! Cart paths need maintenance in several areas. Overall a pretty good value for the money. Seniors save $5 off, and you can bring in your own drinks and snacks.

Unnecessarily rude. Went to watch our daughter play in her school match. Clerk at the pro shop was very inconsiderate and rude in explaining that parents can t rent a cart to follow. Not only is the policy dumb, but the clerk aggressively pushing it across the counter shows lack of professionalism and thinking. Never coming here again. Low brow and not worth the attitude you get to play here.

Open and well maintained public course near lunken airport. There are both an 18 hole reg course and a 9 hole par 3 course. The par 3 course has footgolf as well. One of the better public courses in the Cincy area. Keep up the good work all!

This place made me question the saying: a bad day on the course is better than a good day at work especially when we made the turn to loop the course for a second 18, and they informed us we needed to take our clubs off the carts (we were two 4somes on a golf outing ) because they were OUT OF CARTS! Uggh! The planes buzzing us on our backswing were an added bonus.
