Reeds N1 City Review

Only dealt with the parts division but received great service. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

Was wth a friend who collected a new vehicle. Service was friendly & very efficient making folks feel like part of the family.

I had my vehicle serviced at Reeds N1 City on Tuesday the 18th and was assisted very friendly by Faiza who understood that it was difficult for me to book at Claremont which I normally get my vehicle service and with my company being able now being able to operate she was exceptional in looking for an alternative option and helping me I do appreciate all she has done and this makes this email difficult for me to complain.

So I arrived at N1 city at 7:30 for my car to be serviced I was never greeted at all, the security comes to check my temperature and sanitise which I appreciate, I then wait and a Gentleman greets me and says they ll assist me now, a lady named Barbra I think cam to my vehicle not adhering to social distancing almost in my window I my self move to accommodate for this, she then asks me what I m there for and then asks me if I have anything to ask I point out the following with her, 1 my front light isn t working so can you assist with changing the bulb or checking for me, I mention my radios as I have a my link and wanted to see if there was an update, I also mention my visor mirror flap is broken and wanted a quote. She makes note tells me to leave my keys in the car and leave. Faiza already explained that you do not provide a shuttle however the signage is still up that contradicts this it s raining outside however I go and wait for my Uber in the rain, I see other people waiting and being assured inside I still don t have a problem.

I get to work and then get a call asking me what is wrong with my radio I tell them nothing is wrong I just want to find out if they have a software update for my radio somehow it s interpreted that there is a problem with the unit as the second call ask me again what is wrong with the radio. They then quote me on the visor as well wiper blade I get a quote on my and a light on my license plate I decline this as money is tight and these are cosmetics and not urgent to fix.

Another lady calls me to say my car would be ready by 16:30 as they still need to check the radio again I say the radio needs a software update I then ask about my front headlight and she says that it s sorted it was a faulty connection and all is good, I tell her I have a lift that would drop me an hour earlier is it possible to wait there she said I can wait in the showroom, however when I arrive she escorts me to her desks den once again goes through they things are ask them to check and ticks off the things I declined I ask her again about the light and she says she will check with the technician and then confirm that the light is working I m excited as this saves me from doing it myself and I have no knowledge of cars, she then advises me she s working out the financials for me and my car will be ready sooner than expected. Fantastic she also noted that it R50 cheaper than quotes.
I pay and then go to my car, I note on the floor is a dirty grease stranded paper on the floor mat, I take it out and then notice another dirty packet in the passenger's seat. I leave and go home.

The next evening I m working a late shift have to leave at 19:00 in the evening ready to leave and now the for the first time I test my lights and the front light that was guaranteed to be fixed isn t, so I m driving with one light. This is incredibly dangerous.

Can you please explain to me how do I trust that everything else that was done to my car was correct, I was told a year ago that my car was out of warranty and I could service my car anywhere, however, being loyal to your brand and having to experience exceptional service from Claremont and PE Chevrolet I chose your brand my only mistake was N1city!

Took my car for a service. Service team are excellent and very helpful! They offered extras such as a polish and checking windshield for minor repairs. This really amazed me and proved to me how much Reeds appreciates me as a paying customer. Well done!

The staff is friendly, welcoming, will make sure that your needs gets attended to.
