Is it possible to fall in love with a campsite? Well, I have with Red Squirrel Campsite, Glencoe. Clean, spacious, affordable, quiet, peaceful, tranquil. We had a glorious 2 night stay over the weekend. A cute little pitch right near the river which filled my senses with peace and brought me back to nature. Various birds visited our trees but one little Robin seemed to be most regular deer walk through the site and are a welcomed view. The mountains surrounding the site are ever changing. Clean well kept toilets and shower rooms. Water taps for drinking are dotted about. Glencoe village a 40min walk through the forest trails, and in the fall season it's beautiful. Highly recommend this site. We'll be back for a longer stay.

We returned to this campsite twice during our 2 week family touring holiday around Scotland. Kids loved it, dog loved it. Beautiful location lovely and helpful staff. Is was our favourite campsite during whole trip.

Great campsite in tranquil surrounds. There is a great vibe at this site laid back atmosphere with the simple beauty nature has to offer. Friendly staff. Fire pitches all around the site for cozy campfires. Swimming at the lake for those who are brave enough!
The only reason I have not given this site a 5* is because the toilets are a little dated and the wash facilities have no hot water But this doesn t put us off returning as the rest of the site is so perfect

Place is good. They should be more clear about the pricing and also should accept card payments. The place was overcrowded when we went there. And the people just seemed to be trickling in. Overall location is good. Facilities are okay. They need to kewp an eye on the hot water for washing dishes as it has a tendency of running out. Good locations near by, so overall a satisfcatory expereince.

What a fantastic campsite. Provides everything you need while still keeping a wild experience. Will certainly be going back!

Hidden gem! We camped here two nights. Such breathtaking scenery, next to a river, and nice clean facilities. The site where Hagrid s lodge was filmed is a short walk away. Beautiful panoramic views up there.
