I had a leased car from out of town that I needed turning in. I wasn t a potential buyer and yet I was treated extremely courteously. The new car manager made the experience extremely easy. I was in and out within 5 minutes. Kudos to the entire team for really good customer service!

Purchased my 2014 sonata from Red McCombs NW. The buying experience was not too bad. But now that i want to trade in my car I'm having such a hassle trying to cancel the stupid (and expensive) warranty they sold me. I've called several times left several messages since only the "finance" manager can help me but he's very busy. All i need to know is what other paperwork i need to send to cancel this expensive warranty that turns out i didn't even need to begin with. Sales ok but service - customer service non existent apparently.

I got a 2012 Veloster from NW Hyundai and wanted to express my gratitude towards my sales person...Ms. Lorena Contreras. She was extremely helpful, professional, and overall knew her stuff. She was able to get me into the car I had been longing for since the moment it was presented to the world. I felt like a small child when they get a "new toy"...it was exhilarating. Even though I had been there for quite some time she always would make sure that I was comfortable...such as something to drink or eat. So I just want to let those that may be reviewing these comments that if you are looking for a new or pre-owned vehicle from NW Hyundai ask for Lorena Contreras.

Maximus took great care of my request for the 2020...

Maximus took great care of my request for the 2020 G90! He has called a month before to inform me that it would arrive on my birthday. I just happened to be there to get an oil change and he let me know the vehicle was in the back. We immediately started the paperwork and I left with the car that day. Very professional and polite gentleman.

The service staff was very professional. Because of a mishap which required me to bring my vehicle in more than necessary, they performed the oil change at no charge, half-price vehicle inspection, and filled the gas tank at no charge. GREAT SERVICE!!

If I could rate this place a negative 1,000 stars...

If I could rate this place a negative 1,000 stars than I would. Please DO NOT come here for any services, unless you are looking to pay for damages to your vehicle that you didn't make. I brought my vehicle to this location for services and ended up with a large scrape on the side of my car when it was returned to me. When I inquired about the scrape on the back of my vehicle with the manager and technician I was basically told that I had to pay for the scrape to be fixed because it wasn't their responsibility, after my vehicle was left on their premises for two days and I spent well over $650 at this dealership for a diagnostic test, tires and an oil change. Yeah REALLY! I hesitated to take my car here because of the previous bad reviews and because the other dealerships in the city wasn't able to work on my car until two weeks later. So PLEASE pay attention to the bad reviews because they are true. I wish I listened to the other unsatisfied customers that took their vehicle to this awful place and just waited two weeks to get my car in with another dealership in the city, don't make the same mistake that I did. Just moved to the city and my husband and I were looking for a honest place to take my vehicle for services and ended up having a bad customer experience at this location.

My 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe that was purchased brand ...

My 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe that was purchased brand new at Lawley Hyundai of Sierra Vista, AZ broke down with a seized engine after only three years and 58k miles of ownership, in San Antonio, TX.

I called my local dealer while I was broke down on I-10 and they told me there was nothing they could do for me. After I did a google search of Hyundai Dealers near me on my phone I found Red McCombs. They informed of Hyundai Road Side assistance and I got a free tow to the dealer.

I was 800 miles away from home with my wife and 7 years old but was able to secure a rental to get us home. Before I left Red McCombs they informed me that from initial inspection of service records and clean oil and no presence of sludge that my engine would be covered by warranty but I would be out of a car for several weeks.

When I finally get to back to Arizona I reached out to Hyundai Consumer affairs and they informed that my local dealer from which I purchased the vehicle should cover a rental. This is where the real headache starts.

From the get go Lawley Hyundai gave me the run around about a rental. First, it was we couldn't get a hold of the service manager Ruben in San Antonio so I called him on my cellphone right then and there and Ruben picked up right away. Lawley informed me that the manager was gone and couldn't talk to the Ruben who they had been "trying" to get a hold of.

Finally after a lot of back and forth with Lawley Hyundai in Arizona a Service Manger named Herb from Lawley informed me that the San Antonio dealership 800 miles away would secure me a rental. My local dealership didn't even offer me a courtesy shuttle to pick up my rental. I got more service from a dealer 800 miles away then one 10 miles down the road.
Lawley Hyundai of Sierra Vista, AZ has no loyalty to customers unless your opening your wallet.

Highly recommend Red McCombs dealerships when buying a car! This is my second time buying for a Red McCombs dealership and my experience has been fast and easy! After having a bad experience at Northpark, Ernest at Red McCombs was upfront and honest about my whole deal which I really appreciate. I was in and out of the dealership within 4 hours! Ken made the signing process quick and easy! I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Red McCombs to anyone looking for a new or used car!

This place is a joke. We were going to buy a Sonata but the great low price that was on the car mysteriously disappeared and they came up with a much higher price. They tried to do a bait and switch on us but it was poorly done. The sales people kept looking at me like I was crazy or stupid. After the switch I said it s OK if it was a mistake we still want to talk about the car but they acted like they did not know what I was talking about. We left disgusted and upset. If you are going to try and swindle me at least do a good job. We went across the highway and bought a Honda and got a great deal for a great car. I feel sorry that a good company like Hyundai is represented by these morons.

If you ever have to interact with Patrick, the service manager, good luck! He is the most unprofessional and the most rude individual I have ever encountered who works in customer service. He spoke down to me, making it seem as if my concerns were not valid. He has a nasty attitude and has ruined my entire Hyundai experience. I'm in the market for a new vehicle, and I legitimately will not purchase another Hyundai just so that I do not have to have interaction with him any longer. The only positive experience was interacting with Ruben from the service department, He is patient and pleasant to deal with. However Patrick, the "manager", is a complete nightmare. He needs some sort of training on how to treat customers. I will not be going here again because of him.

We had recently purchased a Certified PreOwned vehicle in Houston. Five days and 120 miles later, an ABS sensor failed as we were traveling across Texas (this could effect braking while going hey speeds). We stopped at Red McCombs, not sure if it was a safety issue. The service dept (Ruben) allowed a walk-in and diagnosed, removed and replaced the sensor, getting us back into our 12 hour drive within 3 hours. While this was an unfortunate occurrence, Red McCombs crew provided their best customer service to make the car safe once again. Thank you.

I bought a used vehicle from Paul Flores (I suggest you ask for him by name) at Hyunda Northwest and couldn't be happier with the service and vehicle I received. I have bought and sold many cars via private party, usually avoiding dealerships, but when you get to work with someone like Paul you realize how seamless and easy the process can be. Ken from finance was also very professional and thorough. They worked with me as an out of town buyer and did everything they said they would do at each step of the process. Great experience, thanks Paul.

We were car shopping for a while. We have done our research and had drove many cars. What impressed the most was the honesty that we received from not only our salesperson Austin, but his boss as well. He didn't pull no punches and they were the ONLY dealer in town to get me into a brand new car. They were quick, courteous and all around just amazing in every aspect of the car buying process. This is my first new car ever, and my first time buying something with just me on the title. They hit it out of the ball park...if you want excellent services, and honest people this is the place to buy a car. I will be a lifetime customer as a result of my experience here.

This has quickly become my favorite Hyundai dealer in San Antonio! They are extremely helpful and actually give accurate time estimates on the work that they need to do. Like every dealership, they will find other common things that need to be replaced or serviced. Unlike other dealerships, they have never been pushy with me about getting the work done or not. They are very prompt and respectful, and offer a completely different (and enjoyable) experience versus Superior Hyundai which, despite having purchased my car from, I will never be using again. Long story short, Hyundai Northwest is the best dealership in San Antonio.

Not only did he help me get into a vehicle that fit me needs, but he was patient and charismatic with me. This being my first time buying a car, I had so many questions. Update 1: Ryan is no longer at Hyundai and I have had, almost exclusively, issues with them since. They failed to order a part and call me back after waiting 4 hours for a diagnostics and I had to go through the process again. They also failed to disclose information that was pertinent when they talked me into an extended warranty for $3,000. That lack of information is now putting me in a tight spot because they wanted to make a bigger sale. I went in to inquire about the information, or lack thereof, and spoke to Jason. While he was nice enough he was no help. He kept repeating the same things to me throughout the majority of the conversation. 10/10 my next car will not be Hyundai, or from here, because of the issues I've had with them so far. I feel cheated and lied to.

I was greeted by Ryan as I parked. I was promptly helped get a trade in value for my old vehicle and assisted in finding the right vehicle for me. Ryan was very friendly and honest with me.

I was new in town and due for the 90,000 mile service on my 2012 Elantra. Asst. Service Mgr. Ruben Rodruguez went the extra mile for me doing the research on my service history at the dealership where I bought the car, then advising me that several of the required measures had already been done during my most recent service in Austin. He could have simply checked me in and had the staff do all the 90,000 mile work duplicating several procedures, or what he did - ordered only those items that hadn't been recently completed. This cut the estimated service bill in half. Good job Ruben and Red McCombs.

The rest of the staff were also very friendly and willing to break all the confusing paperwork down into baby terms for me so that I knew exactly what I was getting into

We have bought 3 cars from this dealership and one of the reasons why is the super way we are treated by everyone here. They have gone above and beyond for us more times than I can count. If there is ever an issue, they have more than made it right. (Example: one time they could not get my car out by the time they told me they would. In order to make my out-of-town graduation ceremony, they gave me a loaner for the weekend at no cost to myself.) We are already planning to buy a 4th car -- a new Azera for my husband -- and we will go exclusively to Hyundai Northwest. We look forward to dealing with Patrick and the rest of the friendly crew for many more years.

Only rough spot of the visit was how long it took to negotiate them down to the price that was offered on the website for the car they were selling me. In all the hubbub of signing off everything and leaving with the car, I forgot some paperwork. They were kind enough to mail it to my apartment the next day.

Recalled motor was replaced however, every where I have been and had service even with simple oil changes they wash your windows vacuum your car not at this place, thwy didnt even run it through an exterior wash. The car sat for over year because of defective parts and they did as little as possible. I will not be returning to by another car thats for sure.

I purchased a certified 2017 limited Hyundai Sonata on 10/18/17. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but poor treatment to customers, disrespect, lack of accountability and poor communication seems to be their strong points. I can say that once I spoke with Mr. Blackburn about my concerns they were addressed and taken care of for the most part, which I appreciate the acknowledgement and effort of making things right as much as possible. I look forward to seeing the improvements.

Took over an hour and a half for just an oil change that i had an appointment for. None of the people there were informative or helpful at all. You would think that they would try to push certain services at different mileages, but apparently you have go over everything you want done before service and they wont do anything more than that. Asked about my tires after they were done and the service writer told me that i didnt ask about them in the beginning and told me that they should be fine evem though i know they havent been rotated in about 10,000 miles. Next time I'll just have to do everthing at home and get everything done in a fraction of the time, including rotating the damn tires. And in case someone thats working there is reading this, you guys suck!

I have to say this was one of the best and easiest car buying experiences I have ever had. Paul Flores was so good to work with. Everything was quick and easy and no games! My 2011 Hyundai Sonata was experiencing problems with starting. I took the car into to Hyundai Northwest and they took care of the problem within an hour. I dropped off the vehicle and they called when it was ready for pickup. I also take my car there for routine maintenance and they always have the car in and out within a few hours. Great service department.

They email you once don't return a reply they don't sell out of state kinda only what your information so they can sell I'm guessing. I even called them 1st thing was is this a good # to reach you at means to me all you want is info.
She said no out of state sales so I'm moving on.

came to get some service done and was glad to see how quick and professional the service staff were.
Hunter greeted my in the lot while i waited and was kind enough to answer some of my questions about the new palisade and up coming genesis suv.
Ill definitely be bringing my santa fe back in the future, and will be asking for hunter when the time comes to trade.

I used Roadside Assistance, the 2015 Genesis was taken to Red McCombs Hyundai Northwest where Gonzalo promptly checked it over, discovered the problem, fixed it and had it ready for me to pick up. He was professional, courteous, thorough, friendly and I was very happy with this experience.the cashier was also very friendly and helpful.

This was the best experience I've had in the 6 years I've been a customer of Red McCombs Hyundai. My service advisor was J.C., by far the best of the best. He followed up when he said he would. Always had time to answer my calls and gave me direct honest answers. My car collapsed & was towed to the shop on 9/26/20. Delivering date for repairs was 10/14\20. I picked it up Friday 10\09/20. FIVE days early. Could not have done any better. I'm grateful. Thanks J.C.

I am very satisfied with their service department each time I visit. I have a 2011 wagon and everytime I go in for a service my family and I are treated with care and respect. They check my little car from head to toe and always offer the best , and I mean BEST customer service! Ruben and Gonzolo are the absolute best. You will never be taken advantage of by their service department. I am always floored by the amazing and honest service. Cannot give more than 5 stars or I would!
