I went to see "Under the Hunter's Moon". The stage looked fantastic. Wonderful prop work. Seating was comfortable. The actors were engaging and believable. The story was captivating an original. Bob Bowersox was the writer.
Always entertaining, we go there every time we visit Key West, great place!!!
Classic and quaint! It feels like you're stepping back in time. Wasn't sure what to expect with local cast but they were excellent! Not a bad seat in the house!
Very cute theater! Great actors. Great set. Great performance. A night to remember for sure.
Small theater (about 80 seats) with a variety of plays and readings from talented actors and directors, drawn from a very accomplished group of local talent. There is a bar on the porch, so you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer and bring to your seat.
MARVELOUS!!! Totally entertaining and impactful performances. Visiting from N.C. and the Red Barn has been a highlight of my trip! Thank you!
Very intimate playhouse, and a great selection of shows that are very well produced with great acting. There are good facilities, mobility ramps, and a bar. Good location right of Duval!
It's a cozy theatre. The choice of play that they performed was top notch. The actors were captivating.
We got to town just in time to see the reading of "The Cost of Living" and it was phenomenal. Bob and his staff and cast really did an excellent job with this recent Pulitzer recipient.
I use a wheelchair myself and identified with one of the characters, but the woman playing Ani did a great job. Wish I could remember her name.
I also loved how the ushers were so helpful in getting my to a seat by asking others to shift down the aisle when they let me in a side door. I felt so at ease with them, and it's as if they've dealt with folks with physical limitations because they were so good at this.
Thank you, Red Barn!
Small theater but that just means you're close to the stage. There's a bar to get drinks before you go in. There was no intermission at the show I saw so you could not leave and come back in during the show.
Small and cozy place for the older crowd. Local actors, but a very nice alternative to the Duval street scene.
I saw With Bells On. So fun! Trey, you are gorgeous!
Saw meteor shower. Dave bootle is a fantastic singer but sorry dave. Not much of an actor. Wasnt impressed.
Everywhere else I've been has been great. This is the first bad review. 2 issues
#1 why couldnt the play leave out politics and stick to a story plot.
Play was excellent.
Acting great
Dialogue superb
Metor shower by steve Martin. Lame, short, and bad choice of play. Was it because the red barn can't find an actual ensenble? Was is the absolutely the cheapest production possible? Had we known this play closed after the shortest recorded broadway run? Do the fossils in the seats really rate this 5 stars? So many questions. We recycled the program book thank god. Fortunately there are several bars nearby where you can shake it off.
Cute, historic theater. Very small so you feel like you are part of the play no matter where you sit. Really good performers. Friendly staff.
I've watched performances here since I was a kid. This theater is a community staple. They bring great plays to this town - comedies, dramas, musicals and more!
