I went to see "Under the Hunter's Moon". The stage looked fantastic. Wonderful prop work. Seating was comfortable. The actors were engaging and believable. The story was captivating an original. Bob Bowersox was the writer.

Small theater (about 80 seats) with a variety of plays and readings from talented actors and directors, drawn from a very accomplished group of local talent. There is a bar on the porch, so you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer and bring to your seat.

We got to town just in time to see the reading of "The Cost of Living" and it was phenomenal. Bob and his staff and cast really did an excellent job with this recent Pulitzer recipient.
I use a wheelchair myself and identified with one of the characters, but the woman playing Ani did a great job. Wish I could remember her name.
I also loved how the ushers were so helpful in getting my to a seat by asking others to shift down the aisle when they let me in a side door. I felt so at ease with them, and it's as if they've dealt with folks with physical limitations because they were so good at this.
Thank you, Red Barn!

Small theater but that just means you're close to the stage. There's a bar to get drinks before you go in. There was no intermission at the show I saw so you could not leave and come back in during the show.

Metor shower by steve Martin. Lame, short, and bad choice of play. Was it because the red barn can't find an actual ensenble? Was is the absolutely the cheapest production possible? Had we known this play closed after the shortest recorded broadway run? Do the fossils in the seats really rate this 5 stars? So many questions. We recycled the program book thank god. Fortunately there are several bars nearby where you can shake it off.
