The service was great, but the food was ok! The atmosphere is a Texas/Cowboy theme. The menu is a bit of steakhouse style with a tex mex twist. It is a bit pricey. I ordered the tamales and the chicken fried steak. It was ok. I'm sure that other items on the menu would be been a better choice. Our server was very hospitable and professional. Took great care of us! It's worth a try!

The rooftop dining room was air conditioned, so it was still enjoyable for a Texas summer dinner. Best part of my dining experience was the t-bone steak, it was the best steak I've ever had in my life!

Excellent atmosphere, easy to work with, great food! We worked with Reata's staff over email to plan our event. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The food was delicious, drinks are strong (get the spicy margarita), and atmosphere was gorgeous! We had a party of 50+ and highly recommend the Caballero Canyon.

Definitely need reservations. Twenty five minute wait was stretched out. It was worth the wait. Julia S, our server was amazing. Rare to see a person in this line who knows all the seasoning attached to the main course, in detail. She has it all memorized including dessert. Great service. Thank you for making our evening memorable. "I'll split the bill with you next time?"

The Reata feels like a typical pricey steakhouse, with a cool rooftop bar, balcony, and party room. The bookable room is a bubble dome that comfortably fits about 80 people. The ribeye is claimed to be 16oz, but I was skeptical upon receiving it. Perhaps it is simply the fat to meat ratio making it seem small. It also had the bone in, so maybe that factored into the "weight". Anyway, it's a nice place, but it wasn't mind blowing. It is not my top choice for a steakhouse splurge. They also have valet.

Deanna was our server for brunch/lunch. She was very friendly and the service was great. Tried the Mac and cheese (yum!), The crab eggs benedict, grilled chicken with tomato and bleu cheese salad, and the stuffed french toast. All of it was delicious and they were huge portions! Definitely recommend! Also, apparently they have roof top sitting for dinner. We'll definitely go back again!

Multi-level restaurant and bar. The food is exquisite. Depending on which floor you choose to eat in, the settings are romantic or fun.

The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I enjoy brining out of town guests to eat here. It's Fort Worth, Texas at its best.

A true favorite. A purely Texas-Western steak experience that brings out the rancher oilman in you, lol. Delicious food, wonderful desserts, professional but friendly and pleasant servers. Pricey, but justified, I'm afraid.

Ohhh my goodness. I loved the rooftop seating, the elevator to our seating, the server, whom was so gracious and very informative, and though the prices ain't mcdonalds prices(lol), they give you a lot of food for what you pay for. Soo worth the experience if you want a romantic place to go and chat and eat deliciousness.

Reata catered our daughter's wedding last month. The appetizers and meal were delicious and they were kind enough to box up the extras to take home. They were very attentive to the bride and groom making sure they ate. Rave reviews for the jalapeno cheese grits and beef tenderoin!

Went for a group business dinner and overall was satisfied with the meal and service. My buffalo ribeye with double vegetables is shown. Our server Logan was very attentive and the rooftop dining area is extremely well done.
The only factor that would make me reconsider eating here again is that the restaurant closed at 9pm, we had an 8pm reservation and they were basically kicking us out within about 25 minutes of the food being brought to the table. I felt embarrassed for the server to be tasked with having to say "I know you're spending money to be here and I still want a tip, but all the staff wants to go home so can you leave now?" It also put the host of our group in an undesirable position.

Like I mentioned though the food was tasty and service/ambiance were on point. Just not a fan of the policy or policy enforcement making it seem that we were getting less than what was bargained for.

Nice restaurant. They are big on having a Texas theme. The bartenders were helpful enough. I had the burro cocktail. It was made with jalapeno tequila, mint, lime, and ginger beer. Served in the standard copper cup. Calf fries were really good. They came with gravy , a couple onion rings and carrots. I would definitely get them again.

Whether you're looking for a casual date night or a fancy night out with family, this is a perfect place for any occasion. The food is beyond superb and tastes 100% to perfection. Entrees are not overly salty or seasoned just enough to compliment the veggies. We enjoyed this as first timers and we will be back very soon.

This restaurant was so awesome and they go the extra mile to make sure the customers have a great experience. I came out to Dallas on business from Ft. Lauderdale and to visit my son in the military. I did research for a good place and made reservations before leaving Florida. The appetizer was the bacon wrapped shrimp -amazing. I had the red fish recommend by our server Brent - who was top notch. When you visit make sure to ask for a tour of the roof top especially at night. Reata was very impressive and I highly recommend.

Beautiful restaurant near Sundance Square with excellent reputation in the community. Prices are not bad for the ambiance but we were a little disappointed in the food. Regardless, we would go back in the future should we visit Fort Worth. We had chicken fried steak and it was good but I have had much better in this area, Next time I would order some other dish. Again, I would definitely return notwithstanding as the ambiance is very nice.

We went here for my mom's birthday, in which they reserved us a private room. I recommend red snapper, it had this great remoulade sauce on it. They served us complimentary champagne which was J. Roget. It's inexpensive at a grocery store, but tastes excellent!

Our team visited Reata as a team, about 50 people, for our Holiday lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was very good. I personally had the meatloaf, which sounds pretty boring, which was excellent. The meatloaf had just a hint of spice the vegetables were well cooked, the mashed potatoes were good. My only complaint is that, despite all efforts, when serving 50 people at once my plate of food was lukewarm.
For desert I had the bread pudding which was very good.
All in all I recommend this place strongly and look forward to visiting with a smaller group in the future.

Don't get the fish. Taste like it was frozen then microwaved. Sitting on the toilet the rest of the night. The manager is mean like a character out of a bad movie. They don't care about anyone. Its must be a front for some other organized crime business or something. This place should be out of business otherwise

Excellent food and very good service! Every single thing that we ordered was cooked to perfection. The main courses are delicious and they serve big portions so you might have to take some home if you want to order dessert and coffee. Desserts are very good too.
The atmosphere is great, not too noisy so you can actually have a conversation. Our waitress was very attentive and quick. We have and excellent dinner.
The Reata is a great place to celebrate a special occasion. It's pricey but it's worth it!! You will not regret the money you spend there.

Delicious and with a very cool rooftop atmosphere. It is a bit pricey, but it is downtown. It is reasonably priced compared to the surrounding restaurants. I recommend it to anyone visiting downtown fort worth. Good food, fun atmosphere, well worth a visit.

This place was absolutely amazing! It has officially become my favorite place! We ordered elk sausage and grits for our app. My husband and I don't eat grits. These grits were delicious! Their complimentary bread is very good. Jalepeno cornbread and pecan biscuits. I ordered the chicken with honey mustard sauce. Melts in your mouth! The veggies were so tasty! My husband ordered the tenderloin with peppercorn. One of the best steaks he has ever had. Topped it off with some homemade banana pudding. It was so good I ate half of it! I don't eat bananas!!! This is our new fancy date night place! Free valet too!!

The food was so good, fast service, and friendly server. I had the beef tenderloin tamales which are on the app list but is big enough for your meal. The favors worked together really well and the tamales had so much meat, yummy.

*Delicious steakhouse with Fort Worth flair*
For both fancy occasions, a date night out, or a fun brunch place, Reata has been my go-to for years. The decor is homey, rustic, and classy, and the food is absolutely delicious. Their peppercorn steak is my favorite, and their apple pie dessert with vanilla ice cream is the perfect way to end any meal. My recommendation for anyone visiting Fort Worth is to grab an appetizer and a cocktail on their beautiful rooftop patio. I guarantee you'll have a wonderful time!

Assigning a star value is somewhat difficult as Reata presented a mixed bag so to speak. On its face, Reata is a brilliant concept with a southwestern flare and plenty of ambient appeal. However, a restaurant must live up to the standards More
