Our visit was very nice, as always. Reata is my husband's and my favorite Fort Worth restaurant. The wait staff is always pleasant and knowledgeable about the menus. The valet parking is convenient. Thank you for helping us celebrate Fathers Day with my 90 year old dad.

We've tried to give Reata multiple chances to be worth the money - heck worth the reservation, but each time it fails us. The views and the experience from the rooftop are extradinary; however, the food is the worst in Fort Worth. With each visit I've tried a new dish - hoping it will be the dish that keeps me coming back....but they are all completely flavorless. The meals are almost reminiscent of frozen meals that you might receive in the mail through Fresh or those types of food services. I am not sure of the palate they cater to - I am not even sure how they remain in business...but a little salt and black pepper would not hurt anyone! A $238 meal that tasted like they simply thawed it out, cooked it, and served it - without bothering to season the food at all. I think this past Valentine's Day was my husband & I's last trip. It's just not worth it.

Everything was seamless from the valet, the drinks, appetizers, and to the meal was all perfectly timed. Our server, Coco, was a seasoned pro and kept us very comfortable through all phases of our visit. I WILL return to Reata for the excellent service and delicious food.

I only get to eat here while in town but I just love this place. The food is wonderful! The service has always been good but I just eat at the bar so not sure how the rest of the place does in that area. If you are in Fort Worth and want great western style food, this is the place for you!

Super delicious food, and I almost ate my weight in pecan biscuits! Serviced was friendly and prompt, decor is definitely Ft. Worth all the way. Will be back to try a special and the desserts next time. Pricey, so caution to those on a budget, but a few items can be found within range.

Limited menu, no sirloin, no filet mignon, all fish is previously frozen.
Server did not know menu. Slow service. We sat on the rooftop and were finishing up our wine while the men found the restroom. When a fellow came over and said" You were told you had to be out by 8 and it is after 8"
We had not been told any such thing, I had made the roof top reservation and there was no mention of being out by a certain time. We should have been asked if we enjoyed our meal, but were not. Downtown Ft. Worth should have Fresh Fish ! and a better selection of steaks!! And more gracious service. Will NOT Be Back.

Every time (last four times) i go to spend some time at the roof top bar i am turned away because there is a private event. If it is not open to the public most of the time, just close it down and only use it for private events. I m pretty much done trying to go here.

We had a business meeting dinner here, the atmosphere was great, the staff were super knowledgeable and friendly and the food was amazing. I went for the chefs special surf and turf which was incredible, I wanted to make a sub to the potatoes I was getting and the server was very willing to help. It was slightly loud in there to hold too much serious conversation but it was bustling and lively.

Amazing great view, great food, great staff. Carne asada and enchiladas is a humongous plate and delicious it honestly exceeded my expectations. Chef special breaded rib eye steak was perfectly cooked, asparagus and mashed potatoes hit the spot. Ice cold beer glasses. Ask for Sharon when you get here, great waitress. They have complimentary valet parking which makes going downtown a breeze. DO IT!!!

Decided to grab dinner once I got into town after seeing the countless numbers of great reviews I want to check this place out. Let me say that all of those great reviews were spot on. The restaurant offers valet service, but I went after 6 so you don't have to feed the meter if you park on the street. The place definitely has a very western vibe to it, but it's got a more high end look to it which I liked. My server was incredibly friendly and was fantastic from start to finish but lets get to the food. I ordered the pepper crusted tenderloin with mashed potatoes and I subbed the vegetable for the jalapeno and cheddar grits. All I can say is that tenderloin was simply superb! It was cooked perfect and the flavor was amazing. The potatoes and the grits were amazing in their own right. It was such a great dinner and worth every penny. If you are in town, you need have a meal here as I don't think you will regret it.

Excellent service. The appetizer sampler was superb. Cheese grits, tamales, calf fries, and elk sausage were all perfect. (Although the calf fries are not really worth the novelty. In my opinion- they taste like deep fried sweetbreads.) My companions were very satisfied with their steaks.

I, however, ordered the chiles rellenos. They were not good. The shredded chicken was wet and tasteless. The rice pilaf side dish was just salty, with no discernible flavors. I was so disappointed in my order because my companions were all blown away by their dishes.

We used to come here a lot. Coffee is excellent and unusual. The fried chicken is very dry. The eggs benedict are often overcooked, sometimes just right. However, the sides were not good. I was sick all night from the sides we ordered. The wait staff is generally good. A few interrupt for no good reason while we are eating or speaking. For the price, the wait staff should be first class and much better than they are at Reata. Sometimes the atmosphere is lively but not too loud. Other times it's nice and quiet. We watched an assistant manager, Andy, be disrespectful to a veteran and cheat the veteran, then run off like a coward. It was embarrassing for the restaurant and that assistant manager. The veteran and his wife handled it with great dignity. Unless they make right by this veteran, we will not return. Follow up: We have seen the correspondence and the owner has shown great disrespect to the veteran and reneged on his deal. We have heard other stories about the owner being nasty. What a shame.

You know you have to eat, that is a given. Sometimes though you need the food to do more than sustain you. You need it to transport you to a culinary dream state. I had that tonight at the Reatta. Excellent meal.

I go to Reata once or twice a week for lunch. It is my favorite place to take out-of-towners because Reata has done a great job of capturing Fort Worth and Texas. The avocado salad, burger specials, and club sandwich are my favorite menu items.

Authentic "FW Texas" fare (signature dish is a steak topped with enchiladas, that's real life) in a fantastic environment. I recommend the rooftop patio for seating if available as they have a great view of downtown FW and the ambiance is great, there are heaters in the winter that keep the temperature warm enough.

The management is horrible. I even complained to the owner and he was horrible by email. I have never felt so degraded in a place of business. I touched the table top candle during my first evening out in Covid-19 and was kicked out for having 3 drinks. The waitstaff was great, but the manager decided without even speaking to me that I had to leave. as for the candle my husband and I were looking at it and I picked it up, when I placed it back on the table it tapped the concrete wall that the table was up against and a piece chipped off. the waitstaff handled it well, but the manager decided I had to leave. The waitress did inform us that the manager was rude. Accidents do happen, and I apologized several times to the lovely lady that picked up the 2 pieces. I have never felt so degraded. I am a prominent business owner and a public school teacher. I had gone out for a mother's day celebration and this is how I was treated. My evening was ruined. We will never go back.

Dining with a group of 20 can present real challenges but our wait staff was outstanding. Our appetizers of calamari and bacon wrapped shrimp we're great and my steak was cooked to perfection. Do leave room for dessert! You'll be glad you did!

I was expecting this restaurant to do anything possible for their customers, but when asked if they could remove peeper, due to allergy, from the plate we were told they could not do that, it was already in the dough. Weird Olive Garden can do that, but Reata cannot. Very disappointed.

I really enjoyed this restaurant, my group had made reservations beforehand to sit on the rooftop, and it was gorgeous! Such a beautiful day, the rooftop was well setup and nothing was uncomfortable. Plus, it's of note that on the weekend, there's free parking in the garage just a block over - I can't say the parking is that easy in downtown Dallas. Now the food. We went for brunch and the food was really good, I had the shrimp and grits and then another had the stuffed french toast. We both REALLY enjoyed our meal, the shrimp and grits were made with chorizo, and it was delicious I also had the sunrise mimosa (I actually had 2!) and that was yummy as well! Honestly by only beef was that they only carry Tabasco but that isn't a huge deal because the food was really good without it, I'm just extra with adding spiciness! All in all, I will definitely go back.

I like good food. I like unique food. I like quality food. More than any of those, I like paying a bill that was actually met by the value of the food. Surprisingly enough, this place met all four of those criteria!

We've all been to restaurants with great service, comfortable ambiance, and delicious, inventive, high quality food. But more often than not, you're overpaying for mediocre appetizers or left unsatisfied by a half portion entree.

We got an appetizer and two entrees and left the restaurant stuffed with leftovers to enjoy later. I paid over $100 with tip and wasn't the least bit upset about it. That's really saying something coming from a guy who more often than not thinks "I would've been happier just going to Chipotle" after a nice meal.

Also, great gluten free options. They even have gluten free bread to begin your meal with!
