Reata Restaurants Review

Absolutely loved this food. So many delicious choices that was hard to pick. Fortunately for our party of eight we were seated quickly on the rooftop. Service was prompt even with our large group.

My dish with Chef prepared Red Fish, vegetables and.. Yummy grits..I loved it. The kids enjoyed the appetizerd especially the Calf Fries with Cream Gravy.

The gift shop filled with delightful unique items. It was a lovely evening with friends.

The food never disappoints. The staff is knowledgeable, thorough, and attentive. The bar makes a great Old Fashioned and their port from an ice wine Zinfandel is superb. I order something new every time I go and I have never had less than a wonderful meal.

Great place. Had dinner on the roof, nice atmosphere although their waterfall piece kept blowing water on us. But food was great.

I have been eating here for about 7 years now. The hostesses and most of the wait staff know me well, as well as the managers. I am no stranger to their food and their seldom changing menu. I can say for 6 years I would have debated with anyone on how great their food is, and how worthy they were for a 5 star rating. However, the past year the quality of the food, they way it has been cooked (over cooked), and overall bad service, I can no longer give them a 5 star rating. 3 Stars is almost too high, since in the past years when something wasn't up to my standard, they fixed it. Now they seem not to care any more. This past year I have had bad service, over cooked food, bottom of the barrel cuts of meat, terrible pairings, and under refrigerated / over cooked deserts.

Super friendly and the food was simply amazing! I had the wild boar chops and ribs... we went for my birthday and everyone wished me a happy birthday!!

Love the food. Atmosphere is fancy without being stuffy. Wait staff is very knowledgeable.

Su was the best waitress, perfectly read our table. The calf fries, calamari and steak were all amazing. Definitely a favorite spot when I'm in the Fort Worth area

I have experienced the rooftop restaurant for the first time: it is pretty hot during the daytime. I like Reata's menu and its central position in downtown makes of it a reference spot for lunch and dinner.

Excellent service and amazing food. From the appetizer to dessert all details were attended to. I would recommend for any occasion, the restaurant is texas themed but not over kill.

Can't say enough good things. Food is great. Service is attentive. Prices are fair for what you get. Atmosphere is all Fort Worth.

Ordered the apple goat cheese salad. It was light and tasty.
Shared the Bison ribeye with my hubby and had the jalapeno grits and mushrooms for sides. Everything was spot on. Hubby even ordered grits and mushrooms to go so he could eat them for lunch tomorrow!
The blueberry cobbler was good but not hot. We let the server know just so the kitchen could be aware. She took it off the check without us asking for it.
We will definitely be back.

I really love the food here. The service has always been right there with you to make sure everything is great. Once a steak came to the table medium well (medium rare was requested) and the server cut into it and handled everything quickly. The steak that came back was delicious. I'm not one to send anything back so it was really nice to have it taken care of without asking. The ambiance is pure Texas and enjoyable.

We had the Valentine s dinner and everything was great, place, food, staff. We enjoyed our evening even with the crazy weather.

Reata is always a good place to visit in Ft Worth. It has a fancy, cowboy/rancher feel to it. The prices are somewhat high but the food is always good. I love the Sunday brunch too. If you're lucky the "Luna Vista" will be open, which is the glass dome dining room on the roof.

Best Texan food in Ft. Worth. Outstanding ambiance, Texas style. Historic building. Rooftop restaurant and bar is breathtakingly beautiful. Brunch, lunch, dinner is classic and classy. Staff and service is phenomenal! Treat yourself. Feel Texan!

Beautiful restaurant near Sundance Square with excellent reputation in the community. Prices are not bad for the ambiance but we were a little disappointed in the food. Regardless, we would go back in the future should we visit Fort Worth. We had chicken fried steak and it was good but I have had much better in this area, Next time I would order some other dish. Again, I would definitely return notwithstanding as the ambiance is very nice.

Enjoyed the roof top dining. And the beef tenderloin was amazing.

My husband and I came for a date night. Everything we ordered was delicious from our margaritas to tortilla soup to my veggie plate. The portions we're good size and our waitress even brought us a few chocolate covered strawberries as a treat for our date night. If I ever go back to Fort Worth I would definitely go back to Reata.

We have enjoyed Reata dor some 12 years. Always great staff and equally good food. This is our go-to place for special occasions

The Reata was our go to place for years for every special event or even just a Friday night date night but over the last year and a half the food just isn't the same. Maybe they changed chefs. Maybe my palette has changed. It's hard to know but we have really fallen away from our special occasions here as a result. Is it good... yes. Is it great... it once was. I long for that feeling of amazing cuisine again and maybe some time apart will make us grow fond of the flavors again. Our visit a few nights ago was decent the calf fries were very good, the Mahi Mahi was very dry despite the lobster florentine sauce. My steak was medium well although ordered as medium rare but I still ate it and it was good regardless. Our waiter was great and he accommodated a kids meal that was not on the menu and my daughter was happy as can be. We will return again someday.

This place is doubtless one of the best restaurants in the region. Anytime I visit this place I am so happy. They manage their high standard service and the topmost level of food they provide. You always win with this place. Warmly recommended.

The service, the food, the patio, the view were just right - uniquely Ft Worth. The heaters helped too, it was a bit cool. We had the bacon wrapped shrimp, Chicken Chili Relleno, molten chocolate cake with ice cream. Highly recommend.

The rooftop is absolutely beautiful and the food is delicious. I definitely recommend everything about this place!

Nuf said.... 5 star for food, waiter, ambiance, and company.
