I brought my 02 SVT Lightning to Real Speed earlier in the month to get some work done. They put an intake on, tuned and dyno'ed it. Talked to Matt on the phone and when I went there. They were very nice, honest and up front with what was going on with my truck. Rob worked on my truck and explained everything to me. It was like a new truck when I got it back. They did excellent work. I would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of bringing their vehicle there. I will be bringing my truck back for future work. Thanks again for everything guys.

I had gotten my 1986 Ford Mustang dyno'ed there 4/18/14. Dan Carlson did a fantastic job on it. idles really well, throttle response is very crisp and street driving is a blast.. He and Scott Merkel of Merkel Racing put together my engine combination and I couldn't be happier. His crew of Rob and Matt do fantastic work and are masters of their trade. I can't wait until their next Dyno Day to show off Dan's tuning capability and "the only fox body there."

With the new tune, the car definitely shows a better response, thanks again Dan.

I drove about 2 hrs with my 2011 Mustang in tow to Realspeed to have it tuned for a pro charger. All I can say is fantastic job well done by Dan. As soon as I put my gauges in for more boost I'll be coming back Thank you

I have been to Realspeed several times these guys do amazing work. Dan tuned my supercharged mustang last summer. I daily drive my car (weather permitting) so I have ran the car with a tune in every situation. You can't even compare the stock Roush tune to the one Dan created. Not that it matters a whole lot to me but my gas mileage went up quite a bit on the highway, shifts better in all gears, and it pulls harder than I ever expected it would without additional mods.

You CAN trust Real Speed with your car. If you have a Fox body Mustang, ask for Rob. He has extensive knowledge when it comes to cars, but especially with the Fox platform. I have a '92 GT, and Real Speed has done superior work. Some of the work Real Speed has done perfectly for me includes: Caster/Camber plates, bump steer kit, solid steering shaft, power-steering replacement rack, T-5 re-build, shifter replacement, lower manifold gasket replacement, upper/lower control arms, the list goes on. Owner/Engineer Dan knows these cars and so does his staff.

Realspeed is the only shop I would use for both of my cars. Hands down. Ive used other shops before and I'd never go back to any of them. There is no up-sell with Realspeed, they're good, they have an amazing reputation. From what I have experienced they don't need to upsell you (which other shops are famous for) as they have enough volume and clientle that their honesty and reliability keeps them busy....Unlike those other shops....Dan the owner is a great guy. Extremely knowledgeable and you can tell he is passionate about his work, his business and our cars. Malaika is also very knowledgeable and super helpful. I definitely recommend Realspeed to anyone looking for a performance shop for their Mustang.

Real Speed installed a Vortech supercharger, blower cams, clutch, and aluminum drive shaft on my 2007 Mustang GT. The work was done approximately 7 years ago, and I would not hesitate to use the car as a daily driver. The tune that was done for the car has been amazing, and I don't BABY it. I'm looking to have them install a beefier transmission, so they can make me more power in the future.

Nice people. Nice work. Broke parts though, charged for labor on installing the new part as well as the part it self. Will not be returning.

Brought my 04 cobra down to get tuned, was told my car would be put in "standby" and once he finished other projects mine will than we addressed. Dropped car off in July and got back the 6th of September without a tune. Took 3 months to drop my tank fix a fuel pump gasket, install o2 sensors, the radio noise capacitor was supposedly shorting out where it was just taped opposed to being fixed correctly, egr cap and plate.

Was than told my intercooler pump was no longer working. Brought down a spare which I checked before bringing down (confirmed it worked) and was told this pump is no good, but I can buy one they have on the shelf. As well as a leaky power steering Reservoir cap.

Pretty bummed out about this, as I felt he really just did not want to tune my car from the start, and I could have done all this work myself. My car is heavily modified and I think it was a bit much for him to handle.

I will not be returning. Looks like I will be taking a trip to Connecticut to have EFI Logics take care of this.

Dan & his team are very knowledgeable & takes the time to tell you what needs to be done & why. They are honest & up front about the work & the price. They REALLY want you to be happy & satisfied with the work & your vehicle. It really feels like family when you go & see them. I HIGHLY recommend Realspeed.

This is the first time bringing my '90 GT with a freshly built supercharged 351 to any shop. All work was done by myself in my garage over the winter. Before even making an appointment with Realspeed I was talking over the phone with the owner of the company Dan. He spent a half HR talking with me about my car...in the middle of the day no less! Dan's technical skills along with endless patience was immeasurable. Dan, thank you very much for a job well done. I will see you again when I upgrade to the Vortech.

Had a great experience here with Dan the owner who got my 1988 Mustang Saleen tuned to perfection and worked out all of the bugs! Dan was very informative and communicative,when I got my bill I was pleasantly surprised! I highly recommend him and his crew for all your foxbody Mustang needs And wants!lol

Your ride is in the best hands with the staff at Realspeed. They work with you on the best route to take when modifying your ride. They do it all: engine, suspension, tuning, and dyno-testing. I have absolutely no problem driving 42 miles from my house in Queens NY to Realspeed everytime i need work done on my mustang. The entire staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They dont rip you off for half ass work like those mustang "magicians." Ive dealt with both and if your trying to keep it real. Keep it realspeed. Thanks fellas!!

I have been bringing my 2006 Mustang GT to Realspeed for about six years now, and I couldn t be happier. I have had everything done to the car from a full exhaust to serious suspension work, rear ring-and-pinion gears, to cams; and recently I had an intercooled Vortech system installed. I mostly dealt with Rob in the past, but during the supercharger install I spoke with Rob and Dan exhaustively. As always, these guys would take time out of their schedule and answer any question I had no matter how technically complex or ridiculous it may have been. I could shoot them an email or swing by and they would never turn me away. Also, like many mustang owners, I have been obsessed with a number of parts in the past that I was convinced would make my car better for whatever reason - usually based on what I read on a forum or from an advertisement. These guys could have just sold me part and made money, but instead they would genuinely listen to what I wanted to do with the car and steer me in the right direction - even when it meant they would talk themselves out of any easy sale. I have dealt with other race shops before coming here, and have never experienced that kind of honesty.
On top of everything else, they treat my car like its made of gold, they do amazing work, and they are professionals in every sense of the work - that alone sold me as a customer. I could not recommend these guys enough!

I have been doing business with Realspeed since their opening. I have a heavily modified fox body and a Whipple 2004 Cobra. Dan has tuned both to perfection! He will spend as much time as needed and never will rush you out of there. He also takes the time to answer any questions you may have in full detail. You'll also get a SAFE tune. I highly recommend this shop for your pony!
