Doug and his team (Aimee and Kumar at that time) were fantastic with the whole process of selling my condo, from answering my many questions, to dealing with my eccentric building manager, sleazy board president, and crazy seller's broker (seriously, think the phrase used was "what a cast of characters on this deal!")

They were patient and quick to respond and of course I wasn't their only client. I would work with Doug and RealDirect again!

I listed my apartment with RealDirect in order to get on the MLS listings in NY city. It was a for sale by owner transaction and RealDirect allowed me to do the negotiating with as much involvement by them as desired. In my case, I paid a fee and did not have to pay a commission which saved me big bucks.

Great company. Helped us sell our co-op apartment and buy another one: you do the legwork and save yourself a ton of money. Doug is really filling a gap in the market; people who are willing to put in some extra effort should be able to spend less on broker fees. He and his team were professional, prompt, responsive and thorough. Would definitely recommend.

if you're a do-it-yourselfer, this was a pretty good experience for us. they assign someone to work with you and our person was responsive and available for advice. on our own, we definitely got traffic but it wasn't enough for the offer we were looking for. i think it took two months of listing with real direct but we got above asking price

Real Direct saved us more than $20K when we sold our Condo, and helped with a lot of little things like preparing documents, negotiating with agents, that would have been very time consuming if we went with a full FSBO listing. Best of both worlds.

I sold my co-op apartment in Brooklyn in Sept 2014 and the Real Direct service and team were with me each step of the way. Since Sept 2014, I've used a different flat fee MLS service to sell an investment property outside of NY and there is no comparison. Real Direct is worth every penny.

Working with Real Direct saved us thousands of dollars in brokers' fees. It's a great option for people who want to do some of their own legwork; they're right there with you for the nitty gritty negotiations, board approval, paperwork sort of stuff, but more hands off for some of the lighter tasks-- showings, scheduling, etc-- in order to save you money. I would definitely use RealDirect again, both to buy and sell a home.

Great service. Could not have been happier with my RealDirect experience. Was looking for a way to sell my Murray Hill Co-op without the ridiculous 6% broker fee, and they were everything we hoped they would be. Their platform got our listing a lot of views, and the open houses were extremely well attended. We had our first offer after the first open house, and two more after the second. We ended up selling for over asking and saved over $15K in fees.

Their model definitely isn't for everyone as you have to do a good amount of prep, staging, and showing on your own, but the service was exactly what I was looking for.
