This school is AMAZING! Now I have gone here since Kindergarten and I recently graduated from the school in 6th grade meaning I have been there since DAY 1. I honestly was a problem child but after my first year of REACH I was getting recognized for my behavior. I loved my teachers and still do. The teachers will talk to you and listen to what you have to say. They are always willing to help and in general are great. There are all sorts of different school activities also. They have a band, choir, soccer, 2 field trips a year and houses. What are houses? Kind of like a sorority in college, where you re randomly put into one of six houses. Amistad for love and friendship (I m in Amistad!) Dochas for hope. Isibindi for courage. Alturismo for generosity. Revur for dreaming. And finally Ukulu for greatness. This school is great for so many reasons. I loved Reach back then and I love REACH now. So do yourself a favor and send your child here. Ms.Sanchez, Mr.Rodriguez, Ms.Hack, Mr.Perez, Ms.Monohan, Ms.Crawford, Ms.Lopez, Ms.Boyd, Dr.Rentie, I just want you to know I still love you.

Another school year has passed, and still my expectations have been surpassed. I have 2 boys that attend here, and my oldest has attended for all 5 years. We drove 90 minutes every morning to get to REACH, and even longer to get home. Both my children REFUSE to find a school closer to home. That says a lot about the environment that REACH provides for them. My oldest son has a team of teachers that he ADORES. They each work tirelessly to give him, and the other student what the need individually. Ms. Wilson, Mrs. Alarcon, and Ms. Sanchez did an outstanding job with him this year. It's been a stellar year yet again. My younger son's teacher was phenomenal as well. When he wanted to learn above and beyond what she was teaching- she went out of her way to challenge him.
It's not just the teachers, either. The staff treats my children like family.
What I admire most about REACH though, is how they listen to me. When I have any concerns; I can bring them to the fabulous office staff or even the director herself, Dr. Rentie, and they all will help resolve any issues as quickly as possible. We love REACH!

This school is outstandingly amazing! I was at REACH Leadership STEAM Academy for 8 years! Which means I was there since DAY 1. REACH has provided me with an outstanding education! I recently graduated from from 6th grade. This school has helped me so much! I will miss all the teachers, staff, principal, and vice-principal! They have helped me dearly with literally everything! I love how they will help you with everything! They have an in-school therapist, AMAZING staff, discipline teacher, amazing nurse, and much more! The teachers will talk to you and listen to what you have to say. This school includes people from all over the world! There are all sorts of different school activities also. They have a band, choir, soccer, two field trips a year and houses. What are houses? Kind of like a sorority in college, where you re randomly put into one of six houses. Amistad for love and friendship. Dochas for hope. (I'm in Dochas! <3) Isibindi for courage. Alturismo for generosity. Revur for dreaming. And finally Ukulu for greatness. Everyone will treat your child with respect, kindness, and much more. Mr. Perez, Ms. Sanchez, Ms. Crawford, and Dr. Rentie, I would have to thank you all for getting me through my last school year at REACH! Mr. Perez and Ms. Sanchez, I would have to thank you both for helping me so much! You two are outstanding leaders and amazing role-models. I actually went to this school since 2-6th grade it was the best school I ever went to. I was so sad that I was not gonna see them again but I can visit this school whenever I want to and I can help some classes if I want. I loved the teachers, activities, and staff they are the best. I made some great friends to and we are still friends for more than 4 years. I LOVE YOU REACH LEADERSHIP STEAM ACADEMY.

I found REACH when my son was 2 years old, and honey it has def been worth the wait! They start with TK but I knew this was the one back then! Rachel has always been a doll over the phone; Her communication is outstanding!

My son and I are so loving his new school and teacher, Mrs Torres! They way they are handling social COVID precautions in person, distance learning with zoom, the manipulative kits, participation, homework, the communication with parents, etc.

Definitely made the best choice for his future!

I'm happy parent at reach, I have 4 student who is attending reach leadership academy, and let me tell you I have never seen a more diverse school with a caring staff and teachers such as reach! We moved so many times from private schools, to different private schools , and finally we found our self here! Our new home, at reach there's no limit to reaching your goals, they help student who are falling behind by offering tutoring. teachers are happily tutoring those who need it at their own time, they offer all that for free. Also the school is very safe, they practice all they safety precautions always. And they have a very nutritional program for the students, and their after school staff and program is Amazing. We feel we are family at reach. The Director Dr. Rentie is very involved and she has an open door policy, she takes every concern pretty seriously. I am one picky parent when it comes to my children education, and I never felt more happy than at reach! My daughter won the science fair at the county, and we also had another silver and bronze medal, and also my daughter got chosen to go to state and also national Broadcom masters they only choose the top 10 percent! So they also take state testing pretty seriously they give the student extra practice and all they help they need! My kids feel so special and they were crying and in tears that they were graduating from the school, they wanted to be there forever! I love all my kids teachers and all the staff members, also I like that they had a Soccer team, and this year we gonna start basket ball, their physical education program is great as well!

As a first time mom, prospecting the first school to put my child in, I came across this school - because of the amazing picture featured on Google maps. However, reading a a post made by an ex student and her poor usage of words and using incorrect words all together, (to, not too) makes me question how good this school really is.

My son attended K and 1st Grade. Kinder was good, there was lack of playground, communication, and organization but still had hopes of the dream/lies they sell you.
1st grade was another story and things went downhill very fast. They target certain kids the classified as bad. They don't investigate anything. There is lots of bullying and staff not seeing.
Staff is young and very inexperience.
there is a lot of parents pulling their kids out mid year and that should of been my 1st sign.

They are never organized, or know what they are doing. Performance, awards always are late. They make decisions about your child's well being without communicating with you.
They have no playground just sand, or more like dirt. The kids get so dirty because they have no grass, which also mean a lot of falls.

My son almost broke his finger and they told him, to shake it off he was fine. By the time I picked him up, his finger was black and blue and swollen.

Best they determined that January 2018 the uniform would change to only allow WHITE button down shirts. White for 1st grader in a playground with sand and dirt. Great idea!

My children attended Reach for K, 1st, and 2nd grades. The first year we knew something was not right way too much bullying and lack of communication. The website will sell you like you're the luckiest family to attend this school. But on the contrary dear souls.
The school never keeps the same teachers because they do not pay on time due to funds. You have a constant revolving door for teachers so you get very inexperienced souls who have no clue about children and social matters. My son's Kindergarten teacher tried to place in special education. Because we didn't know he had vision and hearing difficulty? Instead of communicating with us she sent this packet home with my son as big as a Bible so he could be evaluated by the district psychologist? Well we got my son glasses and hearing aides he was fine and went on to first grade. We pulled both our children out of this school and put them in private school. This school allows bullies to beat on your children and they do not do anything to stop it. It's amazing how you can sell a dream on a website .

The best part about Reach Leadership Academy is th...

The best part about Reach Leadership Academy is their website! Period! The school is full of empty promises, deceptive tactics, inappropriate conduct, lack of good management and poor education. I will just give the facts, since I am short on time.

The school failed to notify me when incidences occurred while on campus. My son was criminally assaulted and nothing was done about it. He was afraid to tell us about the problem and when we found out about it and brought it up to the Director and school, NOTHING was done about it.
Other parents complained about similar instances as well through out the school year.
They should be wearing a jail house number and not a teaching certificate number.

Reach Leadership Academy is full of empty promises of development and learning. year after year we were told they were waiting for funds to build. Now they say they have the funds, yet still no building. Unsuspecting new parents will flow in and will be told the same thing.

There was a lock down at the school due to criminal activity around the campus three separate occasions and we were never notified.
We were told they had activities such as the Lego Engineering; yet Rustin campus could not have it because the other campus was using it. We were told the other campus was using it and we could not have it for the year.

The so called art class was the receptionist coming in and to paint with the students once per month.

Every club that was announced didn't even have teachers. We asked about the club and was told if we wanted it, why don't we volunteer and do it. My wife did volunteer and did soccer club and science club. The school would not even provide supplies. She had to purchase the supplies herself and was not allowed to ask for money for it. They asked her to come back on her own time this next year but didn't want to pay her for it.

Air conditioning stopped working in classrooms on the hottest days and parents weren't informed and student became ill.

I actually decided to be closer to my son by substitute teaching, and from a teacher perspective, I had to beg to be paid. I called week after week and month after month to just receive my pay check.

As a parent, the school shows disgusting behavior. Reach shows little compassion for the parents and students

The language program they supposedly teach, consists of YouTube videos.

I could go on, however there is a character limit on this site for comments. One word for this place.
