I won't recommend Meryl Dimond to my family and friends. She works only for herself to make a sale, not for her client. She did listing a house, showing, being a middle person for negotiating the price. No more than those. Whenever I asked her questions during the a laywer review, she always direct me to talk my attorney even though she could answer. I am very disappointed how she practiced her job for selling and buying my houses.

I am not talking about the legal issue. I believe an agent is one of the parts who make the whole transaction process smoothly. I do not think she did her part good enough.. She can be one of your top agents. Not for me anymore. Sorry.
I've had a few realtors over the years in the Chicago area and one in Naperville that I used over the years. None come close to the class, patience, and knowledge that Ken Mehon at REMAX showed.
There was no hard push from Ken, and he is the consummate gentleman. I told him what I was looking for and what areas, and he got me going with an automated search email system. Anything that stood out, I let him know and he would set up multiple properties to see on a day.
It took me a year until I was finally ready to buy a home, but he was patient in helping me figure out what the market was like, what kind of house I was looking for, and such. I'm so glad that Ken walked with us on this journey to find the home that we eventually did.
I had Lauren Calero as an agent and everything was great to start with! She called told me about the listing and suggested that I get with her lender and sort everything out, she then emailed me and asked if I had reached out to her lender and I told her no I hadn t and I don t plan on it.... & received no reply. It s now the day we have the showing and I text her if the time we set was still okay (texted her a hour beforehand) and she then told me Hi so the seller is requesting a preapproval prior to showing. I am not able to get a confirmation unless I send them one. With covid now a lot of sellers are requesting the approvals prior to showing I replied I wish you would ve told me this prior and she replied I apologize but that s why getting approved is always the first step and why I sent you my lenders information to get you started. iThis particular subdivision you re interested in only allows conventional loans so depending on what type of loan you qualify for, these might not be an option for us anyway. and I said I understand, as I told you we were just looking and I emailed you the other day that I am not going to use the lender because we were just looking..... and I have no reply......... good thing I reached out to you or else we would ve driven over and you would ve not been there....... and I never received a reply for that message. I was really excited to see the house and was never told that those were the circumstances and that s why I m making this post. I would ve wasted my time to go drive to see this place and she would ve never contacted me.
