Horrible company, horrible business model
Horrible company, horrible business model
Initially agreed to rent a condo from them. AFTER paying for the rental, received a 6 page contract stating that Wyndham or its representatives had permission to enter the premises at any time without notice (i.e when we're showering or being intimate), adding additional charges if we moved furniture, forcing us to pay $150/night for a security service to patrol the area if noise isn't at a "reasonable level," and requiring US to pay THEM for any damages if they fail to maintain the property and we're injured because of it. Oh, and if someone breaks into the rental property and steals all of our stuff, not only do they disclaim any liability for the theft, but the contract also forces US to pay for the damages to the property due to the burglary.
But that's not all, folks ...
After we declined to sign the agreement, they canceled our reservation and then put us on a spam mailing list from hell, sending us "deals" from rentals all over the US. We requested to be unsubscribed and even wrote to the FTC about it, but still are getting Wyndham's spam e-mails.
Do yourself a favor and do business with a more reputable company. This place is ridiculous.
