Lovely space to take children see all the animals ,good cause too

They do a marvellous job rescuing and caring for animals and deserve alot of support!

Beautiful, well run, haven for animals in the Sussex countryside, which is free to look around. Great for adults and children. Lovely tea room and charity shop. Well worth a visit.

Great family day out. Cafe food great as always. The rain didn't stop us!!

Raystede is an incredibly special place. Peaceways provides wonderful support for the human but most importantly dignity for the non human. Love prevails in this place. I will never stop being so thankful for the experience I was allowed to have both times.

It was lovely to visit Raystede again this week before it has to close again. There was a one-way system in place and pre booking ensured numbers were controlled. They will continue to provide emergency care for animals in need, even when their gates shut to visitors.

We loved visiting before coronavirus but I was a little hesitant visiting this week. However I was so impressed with how much thought had gone into making it feel safe, especially the cafe which was managed really well. Signage was clear to wait outside, staff member took us to our seats, everything was well cleaned and the food arrived quickly. On a non covid point, the animals are also great, my son especially likes the parrot that says hello! I'll definitely be visiting again soon

A large site with a variety of resident animals and those waiting on homes, all well cared for in enriching and spacious enclosures.

A shop full of animal supplies, a cafe, a charity shop and a great place to walk around including a duck / goose pond with provided corn to feed (don't feed bread!).

Excellent facilities for the animals. Very friendly helpful staff. Well worth a visit, would definitely recommend.
