Went there for an anniversary dinner and seated at a nice corner table on the window. Lovely service and food but the evening was completely ruined bu the profane, drunken party of six seated two tables away. Everyone in that end of the dining room could hear the F-this and F-that from one individual. Manager twice tried to quiet them without success and he lacked the character to ask them to leave. We`ll never go back.

Super disappointed that they don't have happy hour anymore.

I swear this place used to be a fun place to go to but over the years it's just become subpar. The salmon they had on the menu was chum salmon. Ewwww Overpriced. The quality, not so good.

They could do s lot better.

Let your chef revitalize the menu. Get a bar menu... this is a great location but you're really only catering to old people.

I would love to take a date here just for the location but honestly the food sucks and is overpriced.

I was there according to our neighbour's recomendation and the place was really nice. The food and service both was awesome. Specially the location, we are enjoying our food with the nice view of sunset in Puget sound.

I had such a magical time at Ray's. There's something really special about the people, the energy and the historical boathouse that makes Ray's feel like the best place to be in Seattle. There's some amazing history with the fisherman who have always been drawn in by the red lit "RAY'S" sign at the boathouse. Everything was perfect from the food to the service, to the coffee, tea and dessert on the Puget Sound. The ceviche was outstanding. There's a truly magical vibe there. Enjoy and thank you!

I just rode by on my bike and noticed the sharp red car in front of Rays. Have heard the name Rays for years but have never gone. Looks like it has a nice view of the Sound with the Olympic mountains as a backdrop.

Was a bit disappointed that they were out of Copper River, but food was still delicious in the Cafe and views are spectacular. I go here every year for my birthday and it's always amazing!

Great service. The food was laughable. Our filet mignon was a half an inch thick and the carrot cake was a 2 inch circle. The 3 jumbo shrimp were an inch long. This place used to be great. What happened?

-0- Stars ! Not 1 - and certainly not 5 stars!!!
! I had the "True Cod and Chips" - and it was the worst meal I have ever had!
The "lightly battered cod" was nothing more than a frozen fish sticks - slightly re-heated.
1 - It was tough; you could play hockey with 1 of the 3 fish sticks - - - i.e, it was NOT fresh !!!
2 - It was just warm - not hot - WARM. Fish should be tender, hot, juicy - this was tough, warm, hard to cut through.
OK - on to desert! Don't bother - it was bad too ! What a waste! Ray's may have a recognizable name - but, they have become just another fast-food, throw the food on the plate and serve it, restaurant. I've had better fish at Dairy Queen.

Good food n good service.

Good food n good service.

My advice is make a reservation for the cafe upstairs and if the weather turns out nice get there 10 minutes early and see if there's an open table on the deck.. Then ask for that table and guve up your indoor reservation spot.

They'll be cool with that.

If the weather isn't any good you've got a table and dint have to wait in line.

Great views during the day, nice restaurant but okay to dress casual. Craft cocktails are tasty and include some unique to the reataurant. Bar seating is nothing special but bartender was engaging and seating was open on a busy Saturday night. Full menu can be ordered at the bar.

As always the service is wonderful with a friendly, inviting staff. My boyfriend had the standard fish and chips which were good. I had the poke bowl. Amazing! My bowl had lovely seasoned raw tuna AND seared tuna accompanied by lightly dressed greens and shredded carrots with a scoop of rice on the side. We sat outside on the deck on a warm sunny evening sipping Manhattan's, eating and enjoying the 5 star view. It did not feel like Covid times. Perfect.

What a treat! We went with a friend I haven't seen in years. The food was extremely good. We were disappointed they were out of Halibut. But what we had was quite well prepared. Will go back next time we are in Seattle.

Had the pleasure of dining here on the covered, heated deck this past Friday with my family. What a breath of fresh air in these trying times! The staff, setting, and seafood are all second to none. The shrimp and grits special was delectable. It also boasts an impressive wine list. Such a versatile venue. Perfect place to impress out-of-town guests, but also casual enough to pop in for a local beer and burger with your buds. Can't wait to return!

Local favorite and popular with vistors, the views of Puget Sound are very nice. Prices reflect Seattle so check the menu out in advance. The food is usually good from my experience. Service is also good but servers can get busy on big nights. Reservations are a must in the summer if don't want to wait for a table.

My husband surprised me with a 50th Birthday party and Ray's Boathouse catered the event. We worked with Amanda Viereck and it was amazing! According to my husband she was a joy to work with and did an astounding job. To this day, it was the most fun parties that catered to all ages, both. Everyone had the best time. The food was delicious, especially their crab cakes! Thank you Ray's Boathouse and thank you Amandafor helping make incredible memories! !

Some of the best views in town. On a sunny day the whole sound can turn golden with the Olympics in the background, this sure is one of the most spectacular things to see in Seattle. The food is good though with all the great restaurants in Seattle, I would visit Ray's for the view only.
