The SF store is definitely closed and the Berkeley store is temporarily closed.
Talked my neighbor into taking me to the Pleasant Hill store.
Didn't have high expectations of finding 2 DVD titles that I've been looking for since the start of the pandemic.
1 was Mission Impossible - Season 7 and the other, The Return of the 5 Venoms.
Was expecting to come home empty handed.
Wrong. I found both titles.
As always, I left with more than 2 titles. I ended up with 7.
Not bad for a Black Friday and I didn't have to wait in line.
Happy day after Thanksgiving.
Gear up folks and head to Pleasant Hill.
The name saids it all.

Crazy amazing music store, so much to look through, records, cd's, tapes, dvd's, etc.

I'm still old school (somewhat, I don't do vinyl) and like the permanency of having an actual CD as opposed to a download that I imagine can get lost, so whenever I'm in the area and looking for music I will stop here. I always manage to find something I like!

Best place for music records tees movies and posters

For the rare and exotic in music and Dvd 's this is it.

Its like a treasure hunt! Always plan to spend at least half an hour in the store to check out all the different music and movies.

Huge selection, great prices, and very fair buy back pricing for your used media.

Excellent selection hampered by a bit of disorganization. Too much stuff at floor level is detrimental to purchases by baby boomers. Lots of cheap CDs for those still buying physical media.

It was excellent! I will always be a patron of Rasputin's, I love the DVDs and C's. I'm all about recycling and keeping retro shops open and alive. I'm truly a fan

Their Covid-19 safety measures are outstanding. The selection/inventory is pretty good too.

The clerks are always kind & helpful. And in a surprise they have a lot of knowledge on where music,movies you're requesting! Always! Will always go back and refer others!!

The Cds ared always in good condition, same with the Dvds. I've been going to this store since I was 10. Im now 25. Im so happy its been open this long.

Huge selection and great prices -- like 1/3 price of new CDs and DVDs. Friendly and helpful people working here.

I like it, the vinyl section has largely moved online though.

I love going to Rasputin, they have all the old school music and shows. They have good customer service, and if they don't have what your looking for they will check for the next store or they can ship it to you!
Plus they just started this new reward system. 5stars!

But the door is chained up, with the lights on and everything. So thanks for that.

This place has old, new, vintage of cds to vinyl records. I enjoy shopping for music at Rasputins. One thing I have to say though...be careful, buying music in any format is very addicting and you might fall under a shopping spree while visiting Rasputin music store....

Sold a bunch of old movies. I got more money back than I thought. They even took the movies I thought they would not.

They have a large selection of music and movies at a nice price.

Nice selection of new and used CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, and Vinyl. Even some VHS tapes (!). Staff is friendly and very helpful!

This is THE place to go for all things digital and music related! The huge amount of CDs and Records is overwhelming amazing. I could find any artist or band I'm looking for easily with their organized sections for genres and alphabetized artists/bands. They also have a large selection of DVDs and VCR tapes, even video games! This place has something for everyone. Today I purchased Sublime CDs, some posters and a shirt for a very affordable price. Nothing beats Rasputin's.

Einstein the dog loves this place. They always have the movie we are looking for. They are dog friendly. We were in the mood gor some modern Westerns. Wyatt Earp! Very cool and hip staff.

By far my favorite store. I was sad when they closed the Rasputin's in Fairfield, but it's fine now, this store is bigger and is not too far from where I live.

The go-to place if you wanna get lost looking through a wide selection of CDs and DVDs.

Great prices on several music sources. Good selection and variety for vinyl and CDs. Rasputins even has reasonable deals on accessories.

I LOVE this place, the ever changing selection is awesome, the employees are great and are super friendly. Plus it's in a really convenient location.

I took my than 1 hour to sell our CD. Also the person that was doing it had a attitude like he did not care and took his sweet time I had to get his attention to get working on getting things done. He was talking to other associates. I don't think I will be back shopping there again. All together your customer service is a negative zero @

My son found an Avengers soundtracks he wanted, some 3 for $10 DVD' s and a Beatles tee shirt

You can get almost everything you need used and new like the vinyl choices you can even VHS movie

Awesome collection of DVDs, CDs . U can sale your CDs or DVDs , get store credit or cash. I get store credits due the fact that u get a better deal. More credit then cash basically. When my collection of DVDs takes up too much space in my armoir, I pack em up & head to PH Rasputin. Then pick out new w/ my store credit. Simple! Great staff, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly. Love the place. Works perfectly for my love of movie watching!

Always great finds, and now and then they have free random CD's and Vinyl outside!

I love this place. I can spend hours here. I usually end up spending about 60$ here easily. The staff are cool and very helpful. They can help order things that aren't there too. The prices are reasonable. They have everything from vhs tapes, dvd documentaries, cd's and "adult" films! The only thing I'd change about this place is having a bathroom available so I can stay longer

Very convienent for finding used vinyl and new vinyl. Also have a very extensive movie selection for those who aren't a fan of music. Just remember to check in your reusable bags at the register before you start browsing.
