I went into the Emergency Room 9/15/2021 at 10am I was seen by Dr.Vidrine. With all the things I heard on the news about them being overwhelmed with Covid patients I was afraid that I would be overlooked or treated unfairly but that was so far from the truth I waited less then 5 mins after my vitals were taken I was given a breathing treatment, had an X-ray and blood work done I was discharged at 1 with a Viral Respiratory Infection she called in 5 prescriptions so they would be ready when I got to the Pharmacy. Thank you to my nurses, respiratory therapist and Dr. Vidrine for your awesomeness

I would really like to give more stars. With the exception of the first emergency room doctor (C. Poole)who told me that he would release me after my blood test came back and that I needed to go home and find a hobby only to come back and tell me that I was going to be admitted because it was critical, it was pretty good.
All my doctors, nurses and techs that I saw while hospitalized were exceptional. Finding cancer through a test while I was hospitalized was a blessing because it was found early. If Dr Poole would have sent me home, the outcome could have been really bad.

Ok. So the care was amazing!! Bit of a wait time in the ER but since I was coming in with a minor child and we had to have a double room to ourselves, it was appreciated. Now for the admin review. I know damn good and well the billing department can query the medicaid office to get the billing info. So get on your job billing.

Everyone was very nice and professional. I got fantastic care from all the staff. Everyone was very concerned for my health and safety. Shout out to Monica, Kerri, all the techs and Cath lab nurses.

Worst hospital in Louisiana.
I was brought in there for chest pains.
Sat in the ER hallway for 3.5 hours.
Given a baby aspirin.
Got up and left. Will never go there again.
Will report this hospital for negligence.

I stayed in the hospital approximately six days my first three were not satisfactory. Didn t give me prep for colonoscopy had to ask for bed change all this was on day shift. The nurse manager needs to get out the chair and feel the pulse of patients on their floor.

Horrible ER staff. We have been here almost 3 days waiting to get an EEG done on my 6 month daughter. No nurse has came and checked on her or anything. We have asked to see her nurse 2 times throughout the day and he/she has yet to come by and check on her. I do not recommend this hospital to anyone.

everytime I have to go to your hospital, I am greeted with respect. I understand that I did not have an overnight stay due to no beds. due to new covid cases. I had another stent put in. all staff great. I think my favorite is Debra. she did everything to make me feel comfortable. SO THANK YOU DEBRA. Stay safe and God bless

All of the staff members were very friendly, helpful and efficient. I was brought here for day surgery by a transport company. The driver was an hour late picking me up and getting me there for the scheduled time. Upon arriving, the staff were still able to get me ready even though I was late because of traveling over 3 hours to get there. I was treated with kindness and care. I met many staff members who were very friendly, unfortunately I can't remember them all.I do know that Logan, Tracy, Doug, and Nancy were just a few who were there. After surgery, I called the transport company to get my ride back home. At this time, I was told that I wasn't scheduled for my return trip and I was stuck with no way home until transport could be found for me. I was absolutely sick at how that happened. I was sitting there, just had surgery and I had no way home. I found out that I was blessed in this situation because of my nurses. They were very impressive when they took matters in their hands. They started calling the transport company and they were given the same excuse for not being able to get me home. So they then started calling around to make arrangements for me. I was so glad that they were doing all of this for me. They arranged for me to get a ride home from the hospital. I will always appreciate what they did for me. I reccomend this facility to anyone in need of their help. They went above and beyond any expectations that I had. Definitely deserve 5 stars for their service.

My husband was taken by helicopter to Rapides Regional from Polk. At Polk I was allowed to see and be in the room w my husband. He has a head injury and is unconscious. Once I got to Rapides, I waited for a hour. I watched the front desk do a shift change and the first lady walked away without relaying to her coworker that I was even there. I approched the new front desk associate and she gave me a sticky note to put down my name and number. She told me that my husband tested positive for COVID-19. How was he tested while unconscious and tubes in his nose and throat? I told the front desk that the both of us already had COVID-19 and he recently got his first vaccine a week ago, could that maybe be the reason for testing positive? She just looked at me without a response.
I got no update on his condition. No information what so ever besides "we will call to update."

So you're telling me that the doctors, nurses, medics in the helicopter and everyone that worked on him at Bjach for 5 hours prior to sending him to Rapides, missed the positive result? Not to mention I was in direct contact with someone who is positive and they just let me go home seems logical
