Decent place for the price. Rooms are a little worn down, the bathtub bottom was loose and bubbly my little boy couldn't stand in the tub. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. But the side door was broken and the handle was a cord..

Rented king bed room, very clean. Bed was comfy, bathroom was small, but clean. The hallway had an order. Overall, good room for price. Did have a Bar & Gill prices were a little high. Front desk was very curtius.

If you book through hotwire or other third party sites, be careful they don't offer free breakfast. Internet is very slow, can't even open my email.
Excellent the rooms are clean, the. Comfortable beds, professional customer service from the front desk, the food is delicious, all the customers at the bar are happy for the good service, the cheap drinks haha, and to close with a flourish they have like 4 slot machines (I don't really know it was very good but I love to play so everything very nice.
Note: if you do not have a card, they accept cash for the room and ask for a small deposit of $ 50 (I forgot to ask for it when I left in the morning and returned at night the same day and they did not tell me to return the deposit)
The staff was very accommodating and kind. There was a plumbing issue with our room (seemed hotel wide) and they moved us to a new room when requested.
I am a regular guess at Ramada plaza. I stay here every weekend and every stay is better then before . With the price they charge the facility is great . Great Bar , excellent fitness center . Bowling alley for parties and over the top great staff . Joe ferret at front desk and General manager is always ready to help .
Warning, read this before booking!This was the worst hotel I've stayed in. The entire hotel smells awful. The bathroom in the room smelled even worse and had dirty floors. Despite switching, the new room was not much better. The second day, there was no water for several hours. Nothing was communicated despite calling and even walking to the front desk. Every part of the building that isn't the lobby is horribly run down. The low price is no where near low enough to justify the awful conditions.

Simple accommodations in a location convenient to Wheeling and other northern suburbs, but during my stay nearly all the equipment in the exercise room was inoperable. The staff said someone was fixing it (one even said someone was working on it right now, though when I poked my head in no one was there and later all the gear was still broken. Repair gnomes perhaps?) The coffee maker in the room was also inoperable and when I asked for the manager to call me, he or she never did. So... It's fine for what it is but don't expect it to be much.

The bed in room 201 had brown stains which were most likely dried blood from bed bugs. We slept one night and found the stains and immediately checked for bed bugs. We did not see any and we hope we never will!

GOT BED BUG BITES ALL OVER NECK & once I called & told them they were rude. Stayed there an entire week & they only did our beds ONCE.. our room wasn t cleaned properly. If I could score it a 0 out of 10 I would.

No free breakfast! They are so bad with cleaning schedule. It was already afternoon and the room was not even touched yet. I had to ask them to go and clean up and on top of that I had to wait for them to be done with my room.
Staff both morning and evening were miserable. Not a great reception. Bath tub had poor water flow. Otherwise beds were comfy

This hotel was filthy, customer service was awful. I stayed in rm 163 that has the black hair clip in the bathroom that has been there for at least 2 weeks per another review. In the fitness center none of the equipment worked which hasn't worked for several weeks per another review. One of the treadmills in the fitness center doesnt even have the belt, the metal is showing and is rusted. The bowling alley is not accessible to guests even tho it's listed as an amenity to the hotel. I got over charged for breakfast which was $9/person and didn't offer many options for breakfast. The food was cold, hard and nasty and the door by our room was not accessible to use. We had to carry all of our belongings across the hotel and our windows were screwed shut so if there was an emergency there was no way to exit the building except for the main entrance.

I absolutely love it. Very nice and friendly staff and the rooms are nice and clean. The price is very affordable and if I do return to the northern part of Chicago I'll definitely be staying here.

Very nice hotel with lot of rooms. It's neat and clean. It has good sized meeting rooms. It's right behind Hawthorne aviation and has a great view of the airplanes. Overall a good experience.
Thank you to the staff that has been so helpful and kind (Joe, Jassi, and Mike). They have been so helpful to us. We also have 2 large dogs that they welcomed with no problems at all. It's also VERY clean and quiet. We definately would stay here again. Restaurant has reasonably priced good food.
This hotel is a very cheap and very clean hotel. I love how nice the staff and the housekeeping is. This hotel is definitely something that I recommend to someone that is looking for a cheap and clean hotel.
The worse hotel I have stayed at. The problems include dust on alarm clock, dust on bed frame, paint chips on carpet, yellow stained shower floor, multiple flies in room before I could even sit my bags down, staines on the sheets, when the mirror fogged the word "f!ck" was written on mirror, and overrall bad customer service. I understand this is not a five star hotel but for a Ramada it was terrible.
I had 2 rooms with 2 beds in each room booked for weekend. I made it to Chicago after a long drive and was at the hotel around 7-7.30pm and was told from the front desk that the rooms weren't available and I could only get King bedroom which was not what I paid for. Upon showing my dissatisfaction at the front desk, she finally chose to tell me that the rooms were being cleaned still and will be available in another 30 minutes or so. I was temporarily able to get one king room to put all of our luggage and relax for a min.
Once I got the rooms, the weren't in the best condition. They were clean but I was expecting more. There was also no exhaust fan in the bathroom and the hallway upstairs stunk bad. It was a bad smell that wasn't going away either. Then there was no complimentary breakfast and not even a coffee area in the hotel's lobby which is very odd for Wyndham.
The front desk and hotel management was not apologetic whatsoever over the bad experience and first impression I had of them. Will NEVER stay there again. TERRIBLE HOTEL.

I reserved a conjoined room for 4 nights.
The main entrance was filthy. No manager or customer service in sight . Children on the customer service counter,jumping and playing in the front lobby while Parents just watch. They were all barefoot. Lobby smelled completely like cigarettes. Yet there was a huge no smoking sign .
No elevators. One of our rooms had left over used liquor cups . The remote didn't work in the other room nor the phones.
Toilet clogged up . No maintenance in sight nor manager til 9 a.m
1 plunger for the whole building . Side door of the hotel broken . They gave us another conjoined room. No face towels . You have to them to clean and you want fresh towels. Manager was rude and impolite . Then just when things were better . Next morning no hot water!
I couldn't get customer service to answer the phone. I had to call online to patch me threw downstairs lobby .... unbelievable, unexpectable!!!
I asked why weren't the customers noticed and how long will it take? He had no idea or clue . Apoligozed and offered to give me a full refund...
I took the coldest shower in history !!! Packed our things went downstairs . The manager wouldn't even look at me nor speak to me . She spoke to the staff infront of me to relay messages when I could clearly hear them .... i was very angry at this point but I did not blow a gasket !!! Staff spoke to me guaranteed full return . Apoligized again .
I asked why your manager couldn't speak to me directly this is way over his head, he said he didn't know ....

They charge your card for no reason. They tell you it was "billing." Then they tell you it was an error. They say it will be removed and credited back. It's been 11 days since my stay, NO credit. Be sure to check your statement and charges after your stay.
There's a stench in the halls. It smells like sewage. I asked the front desk and they said someone was working on it. This is the 2nd time coming here and there were no face towels, only hand and bath - weird.

blocked we asked them to fix it but they didn't . The room was not clean as you see in the pictures. No room service the next day .

Great Location and Friendly Staff! The housekeepers were very polit even though they didn't speak much English. Also Marbe the receptionist made me feel welcomed and she was very helpful during my stay.

Altough Byron was helpful, i don't recommend this hotel. Read all bad reviews, ufortunately they are true. My company was charged 4 times and still didn't get money back.

Very disappointing. They have advertised that they have a pool hot tub and spa(they do not) they also show they have a village inn pizza restaurant and bar( they do not) they also show and advertise a 4 lane bowling alley, when I asked about that they said it is not for guests!?!! Then when they gave us our room they sent us to a dirty room. I took pics. Very misleading and disappointing.

Changed rooms 4 different times. Toilet was stuff up. Bathroom had a leak in ceiling. Sinks and tub wouldn't drain. Worst hotel I've ever been to.
It was an alright hotel. Having the bar/grill connected to it was a plus. Bummed out that there was a private party going on in the bowling alley though. Kids were wanting to bowl but kept them entertained other ways.

Very good service amazing management genral manager Jassi was very helpfull and professional also Prince at the front desk was very professional, helpful and polite. Rooms are very clean. Late checkout is available until 1pm which can be very helpful. All-around a great hotel would recommend and will be back.
My three day stay was fantastic until Wednesday morning. I enjoyed the Tap House Grill and it's employees, and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms need a little TLC, but I think a remodel is underway. On Wednesday, a woman I had not seen during my stay was manning the front desk. She challenged my right to be on the premises as if I were a vagrant, then attempted to charge me $8 and change for a breakfast I had eaten for free the last two days without incident. It was nearly 9am and the steam table was still full of food. Would you rather throw it out? She seemed more concerned with her bottom line than providing meaningful customer service.

Attended a trade show type of meeting there. Everything was easy to find and access. The hotel is on a very busy Street and access to the parking lot was somewhat difficult but after that everything was fine. The hotel looked great. Appeared to have areas in the rear, protected from Street noise, which were nice.

Remodeled rooms were nice. Funky smell in the hallways. New restaurant attached. Breakfast buffet was not worth $13. Staff was kind and helpful.
Joe Feret was amazing. He kept great care of our baseball group during our stay at the Ramada Plaza North Shore. This hotel is lucky to have such an awesome employee! Thanks Joe!
