Boy, do i wish i could afford to shop here for all my groceries. Awesome selection, organics galore, very decent sushi, AWESOME deli. But, you pay a premium for most normal groceries, couponing and going through the app before shopping is a must. Also, try the in-store coffee shop, it's quite nice.
Not thrilled with the new layout. Personnel are very helpful. Always gived you a hometown feel.

Absolutely love what they've done with the place. Love the new remodel the store is going through. I've noticed lots of more healthy options available, and a new salad bar! My new favorite place to shop!
Awesome store, I'm just sad they did away with their customer service desk (no more money orders or USPS drop off/shipping). Also they're currently remodeling.

Check the expiration dates on food while shopping here!!! Especially sale items. I have had the experience, several times, of getting home with groceries from this store only to discover while unpacking that some of my purchases were well past expiration dates. I live fairly close to the store, so I turn around and drive back to exchange or get a refund, but this is still inconvenient... especially when the only reason I shop there anymore is because of it's close proximity to my home when I am trying to save time. The management there doesn't seem to care much about this problem.

Always a big fan of our hometown grocery store! Great selection of organics, friendly service oriented clerks. They are going through a renovation at the moment, but just ask an employee where a product is, and they are super helpful getting you what you need!
Wonderful, but expensive for set income people with a lower income. Can't beat Raleys quality. Raleys is my very favorite regular grocery store!

It's close and convenient, but more expensive than the Safeway, which is one freeway exit away.
It's a lovely store, great produce and deli. Prices are a bit high, I think. If we need something unusual for a recipe, I usually find it here.
The first Raleys ever built! I Can remember coming here as a kid, some 50 years ago, was a department and grocery store at that time, still is a great store! Come and see for yourself! I recommend it!
Good product selection, store is above average clean and organized, prices are a little higher. Lots of parking, friendly helpful staff and self checkout available.
Convenient from my home, store remodeling to start in June 2017. I heard the postal service center might be discontinued in the new configuration of store. Please post your thoughts on postal center and the need for it to remain in store.

This review was supposed to be for the Raleys in Red Bluff! Not Placerville. People working there act like they hate there job or something, and don't even offer to take the groceries out like all the other Raleys we go to. Not helpful either!
Great place to shop..prices are a little high ...But the people serving us are awesome and the quality in the meat department is superb.
More expensive than I expected but fruit was fresh.
The real mccoy right here!!! Was store number 1.... Probably still is store number one Wish they would hold on to the way they used to be with a bit more furocity. Lots of disappointed gossip via bus passes, M.O.R.E. shopping trips being more difficult, and trying to keep up with the Digital Age when business boomed by the community needs being most important, low income to high end shoppers....

We were pleasantly surprised to find that this raleys was well-stocked with alternative dietary foods such as gluten-free and organic options. Unfortunately most of the employees were not wearing masks inside and though they had a sign out front that says you had to wear masks to go in, they were chatting with and inviting in people they knew who wouldn't wear masks. That was a bit disconcerting and we didn't really feel safe with what's going on in the climate right now with Covid.
Well they pay my retirement so of couse its gonna be five stars-I wish walmart was run alot more like this outfit- as far as the oredering system- they are top notch- not only is there orering system great the place is clean- spotless- I worked there when it was two stores a big wall was down the middle there was a grocery side and a drug center side and even a little snack bar- that had great burgers and fries- so yes that was a long time ago and now ya know Im an oldy but hey I still remember those days- then there came Wal mart most of the time the shelves have ten foot gaps in them with no product- now when I worked 4 Raleys the night shift stocking shelves I knew never ever 2 leave it like that or my boss would call and wake me up tell me 2 get my butt back 2 the store because I was going driving 2 to another store or the warehouse and pick up what was missing- you only do that one time. then back 2 work with maybe 4 hours sleep
