We love this place but I have a suggestion please tell the deli not to put 80 million pieces of onion in their meatloaf omg I nearly threw up and I love onions so that tells you that twice now someone is going overboard. Also please consider moving your alcohol aisle its like right in your face next to healthy produce, I imagine it would make more sense to put healthier options next to produce.
Probably a Five except for the butcher who was berating a woman for not being intelligent about frozen fish. She said maybe she should just go to Safeway where they don t argue with her. He then re-interpreted what she had said so that it would suit him and he went and did his job.
When it was my turn I asked if he could cut a steak into chili size pieces like the butcher had done at the Raleys in Folsom. His first response was I m not the butcher in Folsom. I think he tries to make each customer feel stupid. My stupidity was not having the proper industry terminology to describe chili size meat pieces. We reached an agreement and he did a fine job of his trade. But I won t go back there again.
Prices are higher than at Forklift in Cameron Park and markets in Folsom, but fruits and vegetables are fresh. For a quick trip locally, the quality is worth paying more. I also forgot to mention, Raley's weekly specials are also great and they have a huge selection of gluten free food. I look at it this way: There is nothing at Whole Foods that I can't get, and usually at a lower price, at Raley's.
The manager is extremely rude! I will not be shopping there anymore! His name is Eric.
I love this Raley's. The people are always friendly, it's always clean, and they always have what we need in stock. I love that many of them know who I am.

Everyone is always very friendly at this store. Seems like they really love their jobs, which means the management is good. It's cool this store is the first Raleys.
Service is excellent. The deli has great sandwiches and great hot food. The bakery staff does some very nice work.

One of the best for quality and selection in Placerville. Fresh veggies, great deli, Chinese food and shushi to go. Starbucks inside. Placerville is the home of the very first Raleys.

Staff is always nice and professional. The new look of the store is coming along nicely. Somewhat hard to find things and some popular items are frequently out of stock but this is my go to grocery store.
What can I say our town had the first Rally's ever and it was on main Street it moved up in the world and is a extremely good place to get veggies and meat top shelf
This Raley's is a moderate sized store, with a good chance they have what you're looking for, unless it's an obscure ingredient. The major complaint of this recently remodeled store is the horrible layout that was chosen to use; a major example - dairy ingredients are scattered throughout the store. If they rearranged the store to place related things together, they'd have much happier customers.
In and out just like that only got 4 things but good savings.
Right down street I shop here alot I wish they had more vegan options premade food. Good fresh food tho. Helpful people work here always clean
The Pharmacy was crowed. I had to wait in line for a long time . The staff was friendly though.

Good selection. Produce could be fresher. I've bought avocados 4 or 5 times and every time they are pretty bad. Meat selection good. It's been hard to become familiar with the layout of the store. Bakery products are in an odd place.
Great selection of items. A little pricey, but they have good sales on everything from organic produce to teas, you name it!

Newly remodeled in 2017, Raleys is a wonderful place to shop even if a bit pricey.
