Good food (a bit over priced) and atmosphere is great. Nice place to kick back
The food was way overpriced for the quality. Worst Rainforest Cafe experience EVER and we have been to several
This location has always been a regular stop for us on frequent trips to Galveston. After today, it will no longer be. Our waiter was fantastic. I ordered a medium burger. It was funny red. Not pink. I asked the waiter to have it cooked longer. The cook came out several minutes later. He was rude and LOUD!! He squatted down to the table and rudely yelled some business about the temp and it was fine and asked if I wanted it well done... I said no he got up and left. Even the kids were talking about how he charged out of the kitchen at us and spoke so loud and rude to me.
We went here twice. First for discovering the place and the second time for my birthday. Excellent customer service, and very fun place. The water system is awesome and I was amaze to discover all of the forest creatures in this place. Again excellent food and good Birthday experience.
Real nice place, especially for kids. I real had a nice weekend with my family.
A beautiful place ... I would not get tired of going back and back
Absolutely wonderful place to take your family. Beautiful family atmosphere. We had a great time. Very entertaining and food was great also.
The kids had fun, we had to split into two groups doing the adventure because we had 12 people and the boats hold 6. The animated animals were awesome!
We had a blast definitely kid friendly however my 18 mo. granddaughter didn't care for the river ride. But she did love making her build-a-bear. The food was great a little pricey but we all had a good time would go again next time at night to see the valcano erupt.
Took a very long time to get our food. Food was good.
I have food allergies and the chef was very accommodating. The host & hostess didn't greet & weren't very friendly. I had to stand there for a few minutes while they looked at me before the host asked how many. Weird! Waitress did great. Food was good. Restroom had no paper towels & wasn't that clean.
The food was great. Once we finally got a table. Had ana hr and a half wait during which, they had at least 10 to 15 empty, cleaned tables that even had silverware in place. But management must not be capable of managing. But service was great and food was great.
Food is just okay not the best I've ever had and it's a very small menu that's very pricey but I guess you really go there for the experience!! The Volcano dessert is very good! The kids love the ride but it's also kind of pricey.
Great Food quality staff will highly recommend if ever in Galveston
This is a great place to take kids. Ours loved it. Prices are a little high so it would have to be a special treat.
Great place. Kids burger over done and hard. Service was good.
Fun place for the kids pretty good food if you'd like Landry's this is about the same quality which is excellent.
Great food and good service. We go around lunch during the middle of the week and never even have to wait to be seated.
This was a very disappointing meal. The food was flavorless, I had to ask for a new steal and it still lacked taste. My kids food which was the Alfredo pasta and pizza also tasted horrible. Luckily my husbands good was edible.
Great food great service. I highly recommend joining the Landry's Select Club. Seafood stuffed red snapper stuffed with crab topped with shrimp.
Fun atmosphere for kids. The food is mediocre. The decor was pretty dusty, which was a little off putting.
Way over priced for what you get. The burgers were very big and those in the group that got them, seemed to be the happiest. Would not recommend unless you ve never been to a rainforest cafe. The gift shop was neat.
2hr wait. Veterans apparently don't rate high their discount sucks. Food well worth the wait! . Need more bartenders
I personally don t like the food but, the gift shop and the ride is good.
Beautiful place! The ride was fun but the menu and prices sent us somewhere else for dinner.
The food has improved since I last went. Service was good. The rainforest ride is fun. All the animatronics were working.
The food was okay... definitely overpriced. If you have never experienced this restaurant, you should at least once. The atmosphere was great, but loud.
Great Thanksgiving dinner except the pie. Sorry, but could've had 5 stars. Excellent service!
We visit these in every city we go to the one in Galveston has an awesome volcano you must stay and watch it of course the food is always on time and great my kids really enjoy the experience it's more of an experience than anything.
Best place ever, the best place for dinner and delicious food.
We go a few times a year and my kids LOVE IT! Service is always great, food always hot and delicious, and the ride if great too!
The atmosphere was the best part of this experience. Although I starting to get nervous because four different servers brought four different orders that we did not order lol. The wait staff need to get it together.
Super cool. Everything looks so real and they even have a river adventure ride
I love rainforest cafe , great service , and good management.
Always have a good time here. Food is good, but a little pricey. Your paying for the jungle experience though :) so worth it.
The food was awesome! The waiter was great and very attentive. Our drinks never ran out, the atmosphere was so fun!
The atmosphere was awesome. The only 3 stars was for the not so great yet over priced food. :/
Good food, long wait, slow service. Cool atmosphere though!
everything was enjoyable. Grandkids had a great time.
Granddaughter loved it. The river ride was cute. Definitely go for the fried shrimp the stir fry was horrible. All in all it was a fun experience for the kiddo. Not so fun on my wallet though.
Very cool place the kids lived going on the rainforest ride
Great food and the atmosphere is really cool! Make a reservation it will help you get a table quicker.
Extremely slow service bad music and underwhelming food. Kids enjoyed the robot animals but I would not go back.
Fun atmosphere for the kids. Food just not worth the price.
This has always been a fun place to take our kids. This time was better than I remember, I haven t been in years. It was extremely busy, and we had to wait 1 1/2 hours for a table, but it s worth it. They have a huge gift shop, as well as a kids ride while you wait. It s basically hours of entertainment. Once you get to the table, it s so much fun for kids as well. They had a musician, face painting and a balloon artist all while we ate. I think they should have an extra person to check out in the gift shop, but overall it s still a great time. The entertainment of the rainforest animals while you eat is great as well. We love coming here when we can. It s very expensive, but for the entertainment it makes it worth it.
Awesome place! On vacation in Galveston Texas with our grandkids! Food was great. The staff was very friendly! Never been to a restaurant like this before! If ya have never been ya need to go! Thanks for your hospitality Rain Forest Cafe in Galveston, Texas!
The atmosphere, aquariums, and customer service was great, food was plentiful and good.
The experience was superb. Food was delicious and our server was great.
A beautiful place ... I would not get tired of going back and back
I asked for a dish to be modified to taste and this was great.
Something I didn't like was that when I brought a tip to the cook who prepared my dish.
There was a Hispanic man treating the rest of the employees like animals or slaves, he called them useless dogs and much more rude, he told them that they will return to their country ...
Love the themed restaurant and this location has the water ride experience! Great food and family fun for sure.
We just love the Rainforest Cafe and look forward to going there
The food here was amazing! The environment was great, and the ride here is similar to what you d get at high class theme parks.
Mainly going for the atmosphere. Food is mediocre. Quite busy, but to be expected. Would recommend if you are a traveler/tourist, spend the time for Galveston and the culture around. Plenty of other Rainforest Cafes around.
Fun place with decent food. You definitely pay for the experience. Lots to see from the animatronic animals to the multiple fish tanks. There's also shop to but rainforest cafe souvenirs and a rainforest ride. It's a floating raft ride with more animatronics and decorations.
2 glass of water, one ice tea, 3 burgers , one kids Pepperoni pizza & one margarita $100.
Fun for kids. All the effects don't work. Prices high food just ok
We had a good time! Rode Amazon River Ride after dinner!
My 7 year old Granddaughter enjoyed having her face painted at the table! We had fun!
Lovely place, really feels like you are having dinner in a jungle. Beautiful place
Some items were bland. Others were seasoned in a way that we did not like the flavor. They are pricey for the food served. The premium pricing is not worth the entertainment value.
Kids loved it. For the price it was a fun special place to go to.
The kids enjoyed it (and were a little scared). It was very loud, even when the animals weren't screaming. The food was so so and the prices were sky high.
This is little more than a tourist trap.
But they did have a balloon animal creator walking around to the tables. That was cool.
