Nice big store. However now that there isn't a downstairs, its less plus size options

Found a cute sweat suit for my trip, as well as a nice top. Jammed with items, you have to really squeeze through downstairs. Upstairs is a little better. Don't buy glitter lip gloss at counter. $5 for extremely low quality gloss that has no glitter and barely any gloss.

Rainbow it's a wonderful store that has a little of everything. Clothing,jewelry, coats,shoes,boots ect...

Over pack can't find nothing. And no sales person to help

The store's in NY life RAINBOW are very large & have excellent varieties & WONDERFUL PRICE'S. Wish they had 1 like that in P.A. The store out here is 2 small & not many varieties. The Price's are ok.

Great place to find big show sizes over a size eight but only if you go early on their delivery day. Be forewarned you will deal with negative attitudes behind their paying counter.

It was ok. Just it just feels s bit crammed with the clothes being so close together that it's hard to get thru.

Love this store very nice fashion. They call you to remind you of your layaway a week before pick up.

There is clothes for ever occasion reasonable price to suit everyone pocket

The security stole my bag that I checked in and told me someone claimed it. I don't know how someone else would claim it when I'm the person that knew what was in the bag. Unless security looked in the bag and called someone to come and claim it. I will never spend my money there.

From the Rainbow chain, in Harlem are more assorted

Rainbow never disappoints. Best place for beautiful accessories and outfits that dressed to impress! The bonus is its budget friendly!

I'm a size 20 22 but here most of there 20 22 clothes are to small for me.

Its good enough for quick and thrifty finds..they could stand to beef up their footwear supplies though

They have horrible customer service and they do not know how to treat people. I asked for my stuff to be given to me and I waited about 30 minutes for them to give me my stuff. Hire better people next time because they are slow and really disrespectful.

I found a great denim black vest for a reasonable price. I always find what I'm looking for in plus sizes. Rainbow Shops has locations all over NYC.

Cheap prices but the quality of the clothes is minimal.

The clothes rack are too close together, not enough room to travel through the store, the music is always loud and rachet... cheap prices though. Sometimes you get what u pay for.

This is the Best Rainbow in the country. I love this place every time I'm in NYC I'm through here.

The young man who checked my bags for me was very polite and personable. There was a fabulous selection of trendy clothes with affordable prices. I would shop there again. I am ranking it as a 4 rather than a 5 because I don't like that you can't view the prices while you're being rung up, and the music is too loud for the clerk to communicate.

The customer service sucks. Don t believe information they tell you on the phone. I lugged my stuff all the way there after calling to make sure I could return my items...turns out the person I talked to on the phone was ignorant of the way the company works....

Would've been better if the cashier registers are fairly there + half the the merchandise is t bad but watch out for the prices they sometimes intend to price it up instead

No dressing room and to much clothes crowded together no space to walk

This women That works there disrespected me by having an attittude bc I didn't see her wave to tell me to come to the counter. she was working with another customer before me. Then when I finally see her wave me over, she gonna have her hand out hinting me to put the clothes on the counter. I did so then gave her the money and instead of giving me my money in my hand she gonna place it on the counter with an attitude. She has terrible customer service and she deserves to be fired. She is Hispanic with glasses and a round face. I will not be going back to that rainbows until they teach their employees how to respect someone that is giving them their paycheck.

I love Rainbow shops always has nice clothes, I always come out with something I like and the Manager was very nice .he good to his customers that's a plus .will go again for the holidays

Great suggestive selection at often great prices but this store is super crowded.

The store is due for some reorganization (it is very cramped and some items, like perfume, are unpacked and thrown in bins), but it has a great selection of cheap and trendy clothes. The prices are a steal.

People in the women's dept was not helpful. I did find what I wanted on my own. Cashiers are always great.

you're pretty much shopping on your own the staff never seems knowledgeable.

Could carry some better pieces, but you can get a few quick things from here. But their shoe department need help. It's to big to have nothing.

A place to get affordable and decent quality and fashionable clothes. As a college student on a tight budget, I find myself browsing through this store very often. Their 5$ and 10$ racks can be mind blowing. Great place for casual wear.

Way too crowded lines were long as well with only 2 cashiers and alot of other employees standing around doing nothing

Can't go wrong for affordable, stylish party clothes and shoes. They make everyone check their bags at this location which makes me not want to shop there. only does this at one other store in Manhattan which says a lot about what they think of their Harlem customers. It also says a lot about what they stock the store with, the fact that they are still open an people still shop there despite being treated like perspective thieves before entry to the store. The place is pretty stuffed with racks.

Its a very tight space downstaira and upstairs but they have great selections on everything including lingerie they used to have a kids section but not anymore

I couldn't carry everything. I love the Rainbow store, I've been shopping there for many years and I get so much compliments. I tell people where to go. GO RAINBOW I tell them.

I dont recognized my older review of this rainbow shop so im going to rewrite it lol. Must be my ex french programmer wanna be boyfriend trying to place investments in this place. Fabulous clothes that makes me look fab. I bought some but someone jaleous broke into my house and stole them. I wonder who? I had to go and repurchase the pieces. Bisssh how dare are u? lol. Well loving my outfit period. Shop here. Enjoy!!!

It feels like a burden to even rate as 1 star. My experience there has been by far the worst in two different locations. One on Parkchester and this west 125th location.
For this location I will elaborate on the experience.

My aunt and I walked into this location to return some shoes and get new ones as well. When we went up to the upper level floor we gathered shoes we found interesting then while I was trying the few I gathered, my aunt found a pair of shoes in a $9 section and had asked the manager/owner I m not sure which he was but we asked him about helping find the box for it and he went straight away to say, It s not $9! Proceeds to take said shoe back to original location and then walks away. We asked the next person who was a supposed to be some form of a security or shoe attendant and has supposedly been in the business for 23 or so years his words. We asked for his help he went to shelve the shoes again while complaining saying it s not the price we said when it wasn t what was asked for.
They were all round racist assuming we couldn t we couldn t afford it. He even went out of his way to come with his price gun to put prices on the boxes of the shoes I was trying on. As he was trying to be petty for being corrected he picked up another customer s shoebox thinking it was part of our pile and when the lady looked around she asked where it was and realized he picked up the wrong person s box and gave her another one from the shelf and customer complained that wasn t what she had earlier.

What customer service complains about customers???

Don t get me started on employment!!! I tried going for summer employment when I was in highschool and same manager/ owner tells me to go online and yet no way to apply online ?!?

Horrible customer service and horrible work seeking experience.
Never again!

If I could put less than a 1 star, I would, they closed half hour before the website stated, the manager and staff were rude and they told me to take it up with the corporation, not the store, failing to take ownership. I think they just lost a loyal customer due to their lack of friendly customer service.
