Rainbow Hotel & Casino Review

PRIME rib Was dry in buffet rooms and people were great . Clean environment.

The "new normal" makes for a more enjoyable experience, but the distancing makes it difficult to find a seat at the tables.

Great hotel. Under construction but still great. Good prices for off weekend.

I absolutely love it here, they have good food yummy drinks and beautiful rooms.

The Rainbow has all the trappings of a good Casino. Bright colors, table games and slots, friendly helpful staff, free drinks and comfortable seats. The Rainbow offers incentives like free play, free food and additional points for use in the gift shop. And let's not forget great places to eat and clean, comfortable rooms. Buses run from SLC and surrounding cities. Jet service flies in players from all over the country. I once ran into people from my hometown in the Dakota's! We always stop at the Rainbow when passing through Wendover. It's newly remodeled (beautiful job!) and ready for action 24/7.

Casino has great atmosphere. Rooms are really nice & clean. Staff is always happy & helpful.

The buffet was great and the atmosphere was upbeat. I loved the live band and and customer service agents. The only problem I had was a cocktail waitress who refused to serve women, it was very frustrating. I had to leave the slots to go to the bar for a drink. My husband next to me received his drinks, she kept saying she forgot mine, twice. We most likely won't go back to this casino.

AMAZING CASINO tons of fun and friendly service great place to enjoy a night out and to stay for a couple nights

Spent well over an hour at machines within a few paces of each other before I finally got the attention of a waitress to bring me a drink. Not to say I didn't see 2 in that time that blatenly ignored me. Beyond that, the casino was quite clean and had a very nice atmosphere. The staff in the gift shop were quite friendly and helpful.

The rudest staff in wendover. It is as if they are told to piss off every one they deal with. I lost some very expensive sunglasses in the casino. It is not their fault that I lost them but I could not get anybody to help me beyond looking in the lost and found. I have lost things at the peppermill and the montego bay. Both bent over backwards to help including pulling security camera footage. When I asked the pit boss at the rainbow if they could looks at security camera footage he laughed and told me that was asking way too much. He then walked over to three security personnel in red coats who were having a bull session. He talked to them for a second then they all looked at me and Started laughing. Then the security guy's watched me until I left like I was the thief. I get the feeling the pit boss didn't want to give up his new sunglasses.

Nice place to stay, we lost our money real fast though, come to wendover make the deposit and go home.

Great bands good buffet and best promotions . Live it

This is a big casino in the middle of Wendover. They have an okay buffet, and for some reason I've eaten here a lot. The best thing about this casino is their poker tables. They always have games going on, and they attract fun, interesting poker players. The casino is kind of old and dated, but it's a good place to visit, especially if you come on the fun bus.

Staff is often friendly and respectful, prices are reasonable. My reason for 4 star rating is due to the cleanliness of the establishment, more often then not I find spots in common areas where there is unkempt ashtrays or sticky residue from some in known substance. Finally ill add that although I've stated the above complaints, as I stated before the staff is friendly and professional and quick to offer assistance or respond to unpleasant circumstances from other patrons

Fun Casino and decent buffet. Not the newest facilities, but always reliable.

Had a great time,will definitely stay at this casino again!!!!! Had many comps to eat the whole four days for free, would definitely recommend this casino. Stopped at a few of the others casinos I came right back to the rainbow, felt like home most comfortable there!! Was happy with the rooms and food at all the restaurants at the rainbow!!

The beds were really comfortable... Clean rooms too...

Fabulous seafood buffet on Fri. Machines pay a little but not big wins.

Be honest I think the nugget or the Montego Bay nicer.

Its a casino you lose some and If your lucky you winn a little. Drinks are few and far between. But a decent place to get away

The casino is good, a pretty lively place! The only big negative I had about it was the smoking! Lots of people like smoking while they gamble so it was hard to avoid it. My clothes smelled like smoke after coming home.

Good steakhouse. Prawns were rubbery. Free Live entertainment . Slots are tight.

The pit bosses are not very friendly. They feel like they own the joint.

The Rainbow is OK for a Wendover casino. We generally prefer to gamble at the Nugget as we like the dealers and the tables just seem to pay better. The Rainbow has one of the better buffets for in wendover and I would recommend it above all the other buffets.

The quality of the buffet prime rib has gone down a lot. My shrimp smelled fishy also...

Nice clean. Snack vending machines would be nice and microwaves.

The casinos have definitely reduced payouts. You don't hear the excited screams of someone who has just won a hand pay. You do see a lot of blue collar people who look like they just lost the rent money... The look of desperation as they slap the max bet button.

Very clean..great entertainment..food was awesome..only disappointed was flight delayed 6hrs..

Pretty cool hotel and casino. This is my view from the East Wing. Affordable too. Ate at the buffet off of breaking even at the tables. We had a really good time. Only downside was the room still smelled like smoke.

Maids were at the door knocking before checkout and calling 10 minutes after checkout time. Asked if we could have a late checkout and was told we had 30 minutes then hung up on me.

Great place for a conference! Good amenities and rooms. Staff was awesome.

Amazing casino. Love the drink girls... Tip them good and they will be there with another in as soon as your done with your one glass... Every good atmosphere too...

There are alot of the good slot machines are gone and none of the ATMs had no money in them

The casino and staff are nice. However, if you can stay at the Peppermill or Montego Bay, their rooms are nicer. The pool here is indoor and not the nicest and the rooms are really dated.

They have the newest games and I enjoyed playing them. Seem clean and comfortable inside. I would recommend others to stop in and enjoy their Hospitality too.

Stayed here for one night during the week and it was only 65$, nice clean rooms with view of the desert', pretty big casino with multiple dinning options.

Food is great. Clean casino, great live music each night! Rainbow All you can eat restaurant is fantastic!

Good food and reasonable prices. I had a French dip that was great. Also have a great selection of craft beer and only five dollars for a pint.

Best hotel buffet by far! They had a extensive variety of food, and. Everything was very fresh. The service lady brought us refills without asking. I was impressed! We didn't stay the night, but all the areas were clean including the restrooms.

I will always book my hotels here..love the suite rooms best value and love the large tubs

Meh, Too many of the same machines. I bet they have at least 30 Buffalo machines and half are empty. They need better variety and some newer machines. Bonus payouts are horrible on the slots. When you are betting max at 5.00 and you finally get a bonus and win 15 bucks it makes you wonder what is the point. I have had moments where my bet was larger than my bonus payout.

The cocktail waitress are awesome they come frequently.
