Rainbow Hotel & Casino Review

I went there for their Thanksgiving Buffet and it was awesome

Their Buffet is average, but the casino is decent. However, the usual casino cigarette smell seems amplified here since it is smaller than Montego Bay.

Did not stay in the hotel this review is for the casino and steak house only. The casino was like all the others on the strip, nothing stood out. The interior was nice and clean. The steak house decor was very beautiful. The waitress we had was very helpful and friendly. The food was good not great. Paying 40$ a plate you kind of expect more. Overall it was just an ok visit.

This hotel is located in Wendover, Nevada, just west of Utah. For this stay, I was with a friend that had a deluxe room in a Mini Suite with a jacuzzi and steam shower. Very nice room.

I was just at the casino for an hour or two but the band that had playing Was Out Of Tune and not very good

Hotel was very nice. Had no problems with anything always would recommend to friends and family.

Spent 50 bucks on buffet for two; roast pork was picked over and dry, halibut was picked over in cold old try meat on the Mongolian BBQ, most ordinary Buffet Foods needed to be restocked no bowls for Mongolian BBQ coffee maker didn't work in the bedroom. Pretty sure I will not stay here again

Nice place room was clean and not too smokey. Coffee maker needs to be replaced but they had a coffee bar in the casino so it still gets five stars.

It was really quiet which made me like it.. super clean and the machines had GREAT payouts

It has improved immensely, and it's one of the ONLY places I win! Service is very good, and I loved played the 21 tables.

Rooms are very nice. Service and courtesy excellent.

Service and management are poor. No one is friendly, no one smiles. The ice machine on the fourth floor was not working. Maintenance had to come to the room to turn the heater on (something with breaker, not sure). The maid didn't accept my gift (a bottle of wine, tea and some cupcakes from Smith's). It was ridiculous Primo did not have ice cream in Primo restaurant so had to go to Burger King. Could not enjoy a simple hot fudge sundae at restaurant. The shrimp noodles were overcooked and was inedible. The 2nd Street Deli gave us a chili cheese hot dog when we had ordered chili cheese FRIES (fries are delicious). The halibut sandwich was OKAY. The rooms are clean and housekeeping is prompt. The casino itself is beautiful.

Clean, fun casino. Good music , live bands while you play. Good winnings, too!

Buffet is good. Bartenders are friendly. Didn't do any gambling or anything. Just went with family but had a nice time.

Very nice updated and comfortable rooms at a very reasonable price! Bartender in the sportsbook was friendly and helpful. We happened to meet the hotel manager while he was off duty celebrating family birthdays. He was so nice and welcoming. We are very much looking forward a return visit!

Very empty, only a few gaming tables open. Restaurants need a reservation even though they were pretty much empty. Staff and employees are great and service was wonderful and attentive. Staff let us do a reservation for 5 minutes after we walked up, because we were unaware of the reservation mandate.

A place where he kita and forget the problems whether they are a couple or health but you have to know how to control yourself

Wooooweeeeeee... The band that was playing that Sunday night was on point! We boogied the night away!

Fun place but smells absolutely horrible. If you love the smell of cigarettes and smoke this place is for ya.

Whenever I come, I have a great time, excellent food and first class service.

Didnt spend the night at one of its hotel rooms but i did stay over night at their tables. Very clean.

Not criticizing the hotel or gaming staff. Didn't interact with them at all or play. The buffet sucked this trip. Right from entry it was bad. Girl taking money never smiled. Seemed put out. Girl that sat us was same way. Didn't really greet us. Ask if booth or table,said booth,and she kinda sighed while walking us there.
Food was not worth money paid. Some was cool,not hot,and even the taste of food was off. Best thing I had was corn chowder. Malibu chicken was hard. Rotisserie chicken taste,and felt,like it had been there for hours. We ate at 6pm. My wife did like the Mongolian bbq,but she picked the mix so she knows what she likes and cook didn't influence that.

Was my favorite place but there is this dog upstairs barking like there is no tomorrow and they dont do anything about it pathetic

Great environment, tons of good tables and slots. Primo restraunt food is good but the service could be better. They do a great job maintaining the restrooms but you can expect the floors and slot machines to get nasty and stay that way during the busier times. Over all a 4/5 experience that I never get tired of.

Not bad over all. The Primo restaurant double charged for my meal. Room rates leave something to be desired but that's normal considering the area. Would have switched Hotel's but nothing else was available. If you stay here. Try for the 4th floor. Otherwise sleep during the day. Kids running up and down the halls screaming and what sounded like a herd of elephants above me all night long.

Nice non-smoking room. Spent most of the time gambling. Not the best luck.

I love the cabaret, you get so many good bands, the weekday buffet is always real good. I love that the casino is so big and so many machines!

Love the slots machine and great friendly employees.

Nice place good people a lot of fun free parking for everybody big truck also

Plan on spending over 50 bucks for two people at the buffet. The food can't be that special. We backed out of the checkstand. There was no line, and now I understand why.

Great front desk help and nice rooms. Casino dealers ( with the exception of a woman named Lolita) were very fun and personable. I didn't even mind losing $400 at the tables on the 1st of 4 nights. The next 3 night were very fun. Promptly paid when my friend's and high hit a good jackpot that required a attendant. Good promotions, I'll be back. An older lady who was our bar maid on the late shift was so fast with drinks we named here lightning. She ran circles around the young servers. Didn't catch here name but she saw my shirt and mentioned she was from Wyoming. See ya in September lightning.

Good for an evening of gambling fun. The buffet sucked, but what did I expect on a Sunday night.
