Smallish, family friendly mountain. Difficult to get to, but worth the drive! Definitely look on LIFTOPIA for discount tickets to make it more affordable.

Ragged is one of my favorite places to snowboard. No lift lines, close to Boston, great trails and its relatively cheap. Food in the cafeteria is pretty good and reasonable in price. Staff has always been friendly. Can't wait to try out the new chair. That old one was the only downside in the past.
Great conditions, no lift lines, parking is close to mountain. The reason for three stars is that they had only TWO persons in the guest services office where a long line was waiting to buy lift tickets and season passes. They need to staff more people in the morning for this service.
Nice change of pace from the bigger, more crowded, resorts.
Best last minute ski decision ever, even for a Saturday!!!
Excellent slideshow conditions. Fun loving mountain.
I hate to give this place the #5 it deserves because then more people will find it. Always a great time, and given the winter we are having the snow was reasonably good. Hooray Ragged!
This is just one of a kind family mountain. The experience from skiing, then a big fire place, either live music or just regular music and the bar/restaurant is just amazing. Great for families with young or teenagers or both
We purchase season passes every year.
Lines move quick. Staff is great. Plenty of trails and ski lifts for everyone.
Good medium-sized family resort. No trails are particularly steep or long, but the trees are excellent on a powder day!
The staff was very friendly, and helpful. It was my first time skiing in nearly 40 years. Had a great time. I will be back.
Not crowded. Great slopes, great music at stone hearth...
Mountain is fun. Lots of natural terrain/glades. But plenty of nicely groomed trails for the easy days. Only complaint is the blob that's forms between lifts on busy days. Might have more to do with the other skiers and rides than with the staff. They form lines for a reason!
Nice and cozy ski resort just big enough to get a decent snow and not too many people
Nice smaller mountain, with post & beam lodge, and good trail variety. Well groomed midweek. Slow food service due to inefficient kitchen arrangements.
Fun ski hill with a little for everyone inthe fam. Good bar selling local brews a plus too;)
Great place for beginners! Lots of options, even for advanced riders.
This is a great resort not very far from Boston. Has a lot to offer but small mountain.
I'm a novice skier but this mountain allows me to enjoy the bunny and green trails. My ba ft tender was amazing today.
Favorite ski area for my family. Kids ages are 11, 9, 4,2 the mtn is small enough to be comfortable out of eyesight and big enough to entertain. We are season ticket holders and LOVE IT!
Easy mountain. Good for beginner and people still learning. Some Black diamonds should be listed at Blue squares though
The staff is really nice and always willing to help out and give advice. My daughter and nephew are new to snowboarding and thanks to the staff they not have confidence in themselves and truly enjoy thier lessons. The only down fall is that the gps always tries to take you on horrible bumpy dirt roads but stay on RT 4 until Rt 104 then you will see the sign for Ragged Mountain and it is all paved!
Nice family orientated ski / snow boarding facility. Reasonably priced too. ! Love it and only ten minutes away for us. Great place!!
I have been visiting this mountain for about 15 years. Great trails, very little crowds.
Great mountain, great snow making, friendly staff. Love the lodge
Iv been riding and skiing here my whole life and worked here for a few winters. It is home, and always will be!
Best time to ski at ragged is when they have a full base and a good spring dump of snow. I love all the options of terrain from beginner to advanced glades. On opposite types of days the snowmaking and groomed trails are kept in excellent condition making for a great light intensity ski day. Personnel are always friendly as well as the people around you. Makes for why new Hampshire skiing is my favorite overall.
Great little mountain with speedy lists and a ground crew who keeps the trails in great shape no matter what weather conditions they are facing.
Great small ski area with fast lifts and cheap passes. Problem is that it is far from the highway which makes it a long drive compared to other options of comparable size.
Great mountain with something for everyone. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Though the runs aren't as long as some of the bigger mountains, you can make up for it with the number of runs you get in a day. With their high-speed "Summit Six Pack" you get to the top in about 5 minutes. I've done 25 runs in a single day (with time out for lunch) and could've done more if I had been there the entire day!
Great trails..great food..family oriented.. great staff
Excellent lift times. Well groomed trails. Friendly staff. Good fun runs with wide open trails or funky glades. Had a great time for the price and it's not too far from home. The expansion will only make it better and more fun to ski or board. Looking forward to going back.
Love it. My youngest daughter just graduated from their free skiing lessons program.
Great day. Good lift pass system -- more efficient than Epic.
This is a great spot for the whole family. It s a simple layout where all the lifts and trails meet at a single compact base - this is great when you want to meet your kids in between runs. It s also super easy to run inside and grab something at the lodge - something parents need to do sometimes. Food is affordable and enough variety for everyone.
Did not like the lift layout. Looking up the Mountain. If you ski the left side you need to walk your board or crosscountry ski to the lift. The lift should take lines from both side like many mountains. Riding was nice and amenities good. Re engineer your lift line and would be a 4-5.
Between Sunapee and Ragged, I enjoyed Ragged the most
Easy to get to, very friendly bar tenders, fun mountain
Trails are very short, extremely overpriced for how low quality the mountain is.
Went on a very busy weekend. The quick lines at the lifts and amazing conditions made up for the packed lodge.
