Wow! Amazing environment, rooms are just as nice as the building. Every penny spent here is worth it's weight in gold. The bar downstairs is top notch with many in house drinks. Staff are friendly, and the whole organization seems to run like a well oiled machine! Highly recommend!
Lovely service, high end finishes, a beautiful gem for the discerning traveller
Venue was stunning. The renovations make the place look even better. Only dowsnide I would have to say is the $7.25 bottle of beer.
Beautiful hotel... the customer serviceis excellent... the history is well maintained
A beautiful place with history.
A beautiful place with history.
Old world charm in a convenient location of Regina. The smoked old fashion was great.
Fantastick, clean room very affordable, highly recommended.
Service was amazing. It was not rushed and the server was very polite. It did take a while to get the bills.
We went there every time we have things to celebrate. Love the beautiful space.
The hotel is great! The biggest downside is that they rarely answer the phone when I ve called from the room. It incredibly annoying and frustrating. I ve though about pressing the emergency button to see if they even answer that -Maybe I ll do that next time.
The food is great, and there s tons of restaurants around the hotel.
Rooms are incredibly clean, and staff are always friendly and there to help -except when you call cause they don t answer
Courteous, clean and helpful. Historic feel and good facilities.
Similar to Ashlin, I was also locked out of my room. This was Saturday night when I got back from my friends wedding (different wedding, most guests were also staying here). It took 3 trips down to the lobby telling the staff that I could get into my room before she came up and tried the lock and then finally called someone to let me in. So now I can t leave until I check out because I ll be locked out. No new room, only free breakfast offered. Would of liked money off the bill at the least for the inconvenience. It s strange it also happened to someone else it must be a common occurrence.
Good service, nicely themed rooms. There were some stained towels (not good), but I would stay here again since there isn't much in Regina anyways..
Friendly staff, fantastic ballroom, was a pleasure to attend an event there.
No one greeted us when we arrived. Forget about escorting to the room, not even guidance on how to get to the room.
Classic elegance and top-notch service. Rooms and staff were fantastic. Surprised us with fresh baked committees and the most wonderful cherry juice in our room. I'll certainly stay next time I'm in town.
The service was great. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the room was not to disappoint.
Regina is a great city! This hotel is absolutely stunning. Check in was a breeze. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was sooo comfortable. Love the art decor feel of the place. The location was also exceptional. We were right downtown- a short walk to the Albert Memorial Bridge, the Parliament Building, and Rotary Park.
We loved our stay and would return again!
Rooms are well appointed. Friendly staff. Water pressure is all over the place when having a shower but more than likely because it is an older property. Beds are comfortable and overall the rooms are well insulated from noise outside and in the halls. Stayed for the brunch in the dining room which was a nice treat.
Beautiful hotel! Definitely steer clear of the room service if you don't want to pay $80 for breakfast for two though
Classic style and excellent service. A jewel of the 'rail hotels' of years gone by. If you come to Regina, you should stay here. The staff are great!
Thank you to all the staff at hotel Saskatchewan that made our stay so lovely, especially to Philip who greeted us at our arrival and looked after all of our belongings, and to Dinh at the front desk who gave us a beautiful upgraded suite, and sent us such lovely surprises. As we were just coming back from a funeral, they showed us such compassion and care Going way above what they needed to do for us! I highly recommend this hotel!
Nice ambiance, but rooms could be bigger, particularly the bathroom.
Very nice, regal feeling hotel in Regina. The gym is really great for a hotel which made me happy. They also offer a hot tub and steam room next to the gym.
The room was nice, the best was very comfortable.
The brunch was really great on Sunday and the bar is really cool and I noticed it became the hot spot to go on Saturday night for people in the city.
Overall good experience.
It's very nice, the conference room we were in was awesome and the food was really great. Would recommend it.
Nice Victorian Styled Hotel! Rooms are well taken care of and a great place to host an event. Fairly pricey. Great location for Regina Nightlife.
This place especially front desk employee with russian accent during evening hours must be fired. A Government of Saskatchewan representative was treated so badly by this Russian/eastern European accented lady at front desk just for calling cab. never ever stay or use bar at this place!!
Nice, clean hotel. Beautiful decor. Friendly, helpful staff. The location is central to everything. Parking is a bit of an issue.
Very comfortable. Had a catered meal and it was very good.
Great lobby - several meeting spaces and very comfortable. Impressive history and grandeur throughout. Rooms have high quality finished but weren't designed with business travelers in mind (many practical necessities like a desk chair and desk are missing). Gym equipment is old/broken ... Investment needed in fitness centre (was told it's pending). Staff is average. Location is is centre of Regina.
Sad that this once premier establishment now suffers from chronic understaffing. Very good people work there, just not enough of them.
In house phone to front desk can ring for half an hour. Some food at Sunday Brunch was undercooked. Just not the same place that I had come to expect since last ownership change. No longer a reasonable facsimile to what the old girl once was. This establishment looking more and more like a department store mannequin. Dressed up and pretty on the outside...lack of humans on the inside. As said, some great people working there...just not enough to complete a staff roster that can attend to guest needs in a timely fashion.
Worst hotel stay I have ever had. It started out fine with a dinner and drinks in the lobby bar. The room was very nice. However the key to a good hotel stay is the sleep you get. It was hideous. The room above ours we were staying in room 517 seemed to be occupied by a bunch of children while the adults partied at a wedding. They were running jumping and yelling. We finally broke at 1:45am and called the front desk. Nothing happened the thumping and yelling continued. At 2:30 am we called again where they stated they would call again. There was about 5 minutes of quiet and then it started up again. At 3am we demanded a room change so in the middle of the night I had to get dressed pack and move with my husband and children. We moved to the fourth floor to be greeted by 2 children running wild in the hall. When we checked out exhausted they comped our parking and said they would talk to the people when they left. Underwhelming and a quite frankly disgusting response from a services manager
The complete lack of responsiveness was the height of how not to run a hotel.
A great experience, well located in downtown Regina, easy access to all amenities.
Looking forward to returning to this this classic hotel. One of the best places to stay in Regina.
I'm here every month. They have really great service great restaurant.
Beautiful interior, very walkable location, lovely breakfast in the mornings
Excellent customer service and an impressive facility
The outside car entrance wasn't too flashy but still looked luxurious. The stairs to enter was a small problem to overcome but the lobby was exquisite. The staff were really thoughtful and were nice. Complimentary breakfast was amazing as well.
Good food and service was great for our Christmas function, and desserts were out of this world!
Amazing stay! Got an upgrade and was put in the Royal Suite! It was jaw dropping beautiful! Had supper at the lounge it was pricey but this overnight stay wasn t about cost efficiencies lol food was delicious! Will return even if it is to book and stay in our original room that we were expecting, but if you ever want to splurge and have a special night stay book the Royal Suite. This was a 10 out of 10 stay!
Beautiful location, steps away from Victoria park and Riders transit
Gorgeous hotel. I have come here for a few events but never stayed the night. I'm hoping I can get the chance to someday
Room was nice. A little outdated but it actually worked nicely... Have it a quaint feeling. Would stay again.
Clean, fairly well appointed. However I was booked into a jack and Jill sweet and the sound proofing between the two rooms left much to be desired.
Beautiful reno of old hotel. A great autograph collection
Lovely heritage hotel with renovated rooms. Very beautifully re-done, spacious and comfortable guest suites. Comfy beds and pillow menu, nice linens. Great restaurant and bar, incredible staff & housekeeping. Personalized service. Perfect location, 2 minute walk to Cornwall Centre. Reasonable rates as well!
Beautiful historic hotel. Needs some updating, but the rooms are comfy and the staff are friendly. Had a hard time figuring out the shower, but it was nice once I got it to work.
Lovely looking hotel however I expected amazing Marriott Service and it didn't happen. I booked three rooms for 3 employees and needed to authorize each one individually by FAX. Ok. Done. One of our employees got charged on his credit card plus 3 charges on mine. In trying to sort out, I've spoken to 3 different people now and they still haven't been able to solve this. As a Marriott Rewards member, I am not impressed with the customer service end of things.
My room was loud with almost constant clanging which interfered with me getting a good night's sleep... I was on the 10th floor and I think it was the flagpole I was hearing.
Barber gave a good haircut and not too expensive, good experiance
Rooms were nice, a bit dated but clean. Location was amazing, heart of downtown, great bar across the street.
Stayed in executive king room. It was very clean, luxurious and had a nice view of the park. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was included in my rate. We ordered room service, the eggs Benedict was awesome. The hotel was walking distance to the mall and several restaraunts. The only issue we had was we were charged extra for breakfast, however they refunded it after a quick phone call. Would stay again.
We had a booking, made weeks in advance, guaranteed with a credit card. I called the hotel the day of our reservation to confirm the reservation and let them know when we'd be arriving. The front desk assured me that our room would be ready and that it was guaranteed with a credit card. Upon arrival, the manager informed us that no rooms were available. Explanation: "It happens." They sent us to the Delta Hotel, an older, worn out hotel, where we got a hot and noisy room. Absolutely not recommended.
Fantastic hotel with friendly staff and great advice for a tourist.
Fully recommended for location, price and staff friendliness.
Once again, looking to book a hotel room and find that this hotel still advertises Free Breakfast but once you go to Book the room, Not so!! No Breakfast.. We come in and out of Regina regularly and always have had breakfast include in the stay, now it advertises this but not once you go into the booking site a free breakfast not included.. Got foxed the last time!!
Food was tasty, but a friend had some trouble with taking photos earlier in the day with her gala. Good time over all.
This is the most beautiful and hospitable hotel in Saskatchewan. The staff are incredibly helpful, polite and go the extra mile to help their guests. The hotel has a sense of history but has been up kept with modern appeal without losing antique elegance.
Impeccable service and a hidden gem under the Marriott umbrella. This Autograph Collection hotel is nearly 100 years old but has all the modern amenities while maintaining its identity as an historic property. Well done. Oh, and the lobby lounge is fantastic!
Great service with nice upgrade to an executive king room. Best hotel in Saskatchewan.
The location is key to anyone's short or long term stay in Regina. The rooms are clean and serviced with great care. Honestly, this is the best hotel I have been to from an industry point of view. The staff are treated well and really care about the service they provide.
